So I’m always going to call this the #searstower cause for me growing up and was larger than life. It was the world’s tallest building for much of my childhood and still a damn good place to take photos of downtown #chicago. #tripaway

Willis Tower was once the world's tallest building, and although the first name is no longer there, the Willis Tower is still the brightest point in the Chicago skyline and the best place to see Chicago.
Take the elevator for 70 seconds to reach the 103-story Skyscraper, overlooking Chicago's dense skyline, Lake Michigan, and Chicago's checkerboard streets. The night view of Chicago is worth seeing because it is the city with the most skyscrapers in the United States, and it is also a city where rare streets are so neatly distributed.
The most special thing here is its skydeck, where there are four glass balcony boxes that extend beyond the building. People stand in the glass box, all around is completely transparent, very exciting, you can stand in the glass box Inside, look down on the city under the 103rd floor, or even sit and lie on the glass balcony, you are not bold enough!
Transportation: The subway can take the subway orange line, brown line, pink line, purple line to get off at Quincy/Wells station.
fare: adult ticket (12 years old and above) 19.5 US dollars, children (3-11 years old) 12.5 US dollars

The black giant tower of Chicago's Willis Tower on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Willis Tower is one of the iconic buildings in Chicago, USA.
The entire building is composed of nine square hollow tubes of varying heights, forming a bundled tube structure system. This design not only makes the building perform well in resisting strong winds, but also gives the building a varied appearance. The building is overall blue-black, with a dark-colored metal frame and glass curtain wall on the exterior, making it look solemn and eye-catching in the skyscraper-filled downtown Chicago.
Willis Tower is not only a city landmark of Chicago, but also a showcase of the economic and technological strength of the United States during its glorious period in the 20th century. In recent years, the number of skyscrapers built in the United States has gradually decreased, and the title of the world's tallest building has long been taken by Asian countries. However, Willis Tower is a testament to Chicago's glorious history and remains the tallest building in Chicago to this day.

Chicago - It's pretty good here.
Chicago, USA is worth visiting, but you need to fully understand and prepare before you go.
From a positive perspective, Chicago has many attractions. It has amazing architectural landscapes, such as the Sears Tower and other skyscrapers, which can make people feel the charm of modern architecture. It is also an important center of culture and art, with many famous museums and theaters, such as the Chicago Art Museum, which has a large collection of precious artworks. At the same time, Chicago is a gourmet paradise, with deep-dish pizza, Morton steak and other special foods. In addition, as a sports city, there are famous baseball teams, basketball teams, etc., which can make sports enthusiasts feast their eyes.
However, there are also some problems in Chicago. The security situation in some areas is poor, such as the southern city, some areas in the west of the city, and the southern Chinatown section, where robberies and other crimes may occur at night. The winter climate is very cold and not suitable for outdoor activities. In addition, there are differences in culture, law and other aspects from other countries. For example, Americans are more sensitive to privacy issues, and traffic regulations vary from state to state.
In general, if you take safety precautions, plan your itinerary in advance and respect local culture and laws, you can have a good experience traveling or doing other activities in Chicago.

Visiting Chicago, Illinois
was an amazing urban experience 🏙️. The city is filled with famous cultural landmarks like the 'Water System' and 'Willis Tower' 🌆. I enjoyed museum tours and visited beautiful gardens like the 'Garden Millennium' 🌳. Dining at renowned restaurants was also very delightful 🍕. Overcome your fear of heights, I'll be waiting for you at Willis Tower
As the second tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere, it is really not friendly to people with a fear of heights😭😭😭😭
The building has 110 floors, and the observation deck is on the 103rd floor. I first learned about the history of this building from LEGO Skyline 21033 Chicago. This building was planted a long time ago❤️❤️
In order to watch the sunset, I entered the building early and waited in line. Every step after entering the building, checking tickets, waiting for the elevator, and waiting to take photos at the observation deck, there was a long queue. By the time it was my turn, it was already night time
Although I couldn't record the sunset, when I stood on the observation deck on the 103rd floor (443 meters) and looked down at the brightly lit city outline, I was still extremely shocked!
Although I am a bit afraid of heights, the moment I stood on the observation deck, my whole legs felt weak, but not long after I stood up, I realized that it was actually not that scary. Everyone has a fearful side, sometimes we might as well give it a try, because the step you can take bravely is already the best for you👍👍

Visit the Willis Tower, once the tallest building in the United States
Willis Tower (formerly known as Sears Tower) is located in the center of Chicago. You can see this tall building if you walk around in the center of Chicago. It is 412 meters above the ground. On a clear day, you can see 4 states in the United States. There is an observation deck (Skydeck) on the 103rd floor for tourists to overlook the city. Willis Tower was once the tallest building in the United States, but it has been replaced by the 541-meter One World Trade Center in New York.
📝Note tips:
1. Generally, you need to queue to enter the observation deck of Willis Tower, so be sure to buy tickets in advance!
The best viewing times are sunrise and sunset. (The scenery to see during the snow season is great)
2. Adult tickets are US$25 per person, children aged 3-11 years old are US$17 per person, and children under 3 years old are free of charge.
After checking in: First, you will arrive at a building history exhibition hall, where there are many historical exhibits about the entire building, as well as various stories related to the building, design sources, etc., and then there will be a small theater where you can watch a documentary, Design The designer talked about the origin of the design, the entire process of building the building, etc.
After that, you will reach the 103rd floor observation deck, where you can see the entire Chicago!
Of course the best thing is the protruding glass observation deck! It’s still a little scary when you actually stand up there! Looking at the street below, I felt a little panicked. You can also see the plane flying almost directly in front.
At that time, when I went to play, there were people jumping on the glass observation deck, and there were also people doing yoga. It made me feel nervous when I saw it, but I think those who like extreme sports would think this is nothing at all.
If you also want to take the challenge of seeing the glass observation deck,
If you also have a persistent love for tall buildings,
Or maybe you want to see the famous Chicago in the United States?
Might as well go and have a look!
