Pandas need to stay in temperatures below 20degC. So even if you fly to see pandas at the Chengdu Zoo, if the weather is too hot, you might not see them. But you can definitely see pandas here at Wolong because it’s their home in the mountains!

There are many places in Sichuan where you can see the national treasure panda. Although the Wolong Giant Panda Nature Reserve is relatively far away, it is worth a visit. The Wolong base is close to Wenchuan. In the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, 32 large panda enclosures were severely damaged. The giant pandas were urgently transferred to other bases and provinces. But now we go to Wolong, not only to see the cute pandas, but also to feel the beautiful natural scenery here.
