I found 'Cong Lin' to be very quiet, indifferent to the troubles of the world... Last weekend we came to Conghua🌱 again, just for the joy of seclusion in the mountains and forests. This time we stayed at 📍Cong Lin Li Ye She Homestay, which lived up to our expectations and even surprised us✨. The experiences of walking through the woods, meditating in the yard, and breathing oxygen under the trees made me want to extend my stay indefinitely.
The homestay is hidden behind a row of houses in the woods, 🌴surrounded by green trees, exceptionally serene. 🅿The parking lot leads to the homestay's maze-like stairs, which reflect the unique creativity of the host; walking these stairs, I find it very decompressing. Entering the homestay, the forest-style terrace, the log-colored walkways, the firewood path... filled with a sense of wabi-sabi and tranquility, you can relax in the wilderness and find a place of ease. Here, almost every spot can produce 📸 photos with a natural texture of life.
Qi Chi is the suite we stayed in, with a living room and a private courtyard, an independent soaking pool, and great privacy. The vast space allows for unlimited relaxation. I really like this courtyard～🌳Under the shade of the trees, with a gentle breeze, the afternoon sun☀ filters through the leaves casting mottled shadows on the lounge chairs, surrounded by the singing of cicadas, like a series of melodious notes🎶, flowing with a leisurely rhythm. At night, accompanied by the stars, take a mountain spring bath🛁, with the sound of insects as the accompaniment🎵, shedding the fatigue and forgetting the worries.
Stepping out of the room, you can go to the gym in the jungle⛓️ to sweat it out, or swim in the mini pool🛟. When tired, enjoy a delicate afternoon tea🍰, or go to the reading room📚 to enjoy the tranquility of reading; if you still feel troubled, the scripture copying room🖊️ here is a great place to purify the soul.

"Conglinli Luxury Homestay" is a peaceful place surrounded by nature, just like its name. The homestay is run by a couple who are both artists born in the 1970s. They spent six years designing it. It's like an exhibition, a dialogue between art and nature, with no boundaries...
This is a homestay near Guangzhou that left a deep impression on me. From the moment I entered the area, the butler introduced me to the lobby, restaurant, library, gym, swimming pool... The surprises in the guest rooms are hidden in the details. The air conditioner and dehumidifier were turned on in advance when I entered the room. There were carefully prepared seasonal fruits and a rich mini bar. I accidentally felt the floor heating under the sink. The toiletries were from Molton Brown in the UK, and there was a Dyson hair dryer, etc. All of these were presented in a low-key way to show their high quality. The artworks here are multi-layered, the utensils are accumulated over time, and the content of the books is warm and has character.

I was lucky to find a treasure of a B&B in the forest, absolutely beautiful
I randomly chose a B&B on the platform for the New Year, without much expectation, because many I tried before were deceiving. When you get there, you find it's actually older and dirtier, not as nice and comfortable as in the photos.
But this place really surprised me!
One reason is that the owner and staff are very enthusiastic. They kept confirming on WeChat when I would check in, which I found strange at first. Was it because they wanted to leave early during the New Year period? Later I found out that it was because the weather was quite cold these days, and they wanted to turn on the heating in the room in advance! I didn't expect this kind of service for a B&B at this price during the New Year.
What I liked the most was their decoration style. The owners, a couple, are designers themselves. They said it took them six years to create this, and you can really feel the attention to detail. Every window blends with the natural scenery outside, like a painting, very comfortable and pleasant.
The key point is that it's been open for just over half a month, so it's very new! Very new! Very clean! I hope future guests will treat it well and maintain this excellent condition for a longer time.
But don't have too high expectations, the surrounding area is just an ordinary, quaint village. Perhaps it's the owner's concept of hiding in the natural countryside, which gives a sense of relaxation and unpretentiousness, like retreating to the tranquility of the woods.

Price: During the New Year, my room with a small courtyard and soaking pool was 1980, and the Japanese-style twin beds were 1580. I guess it could be cheaper by seven or eight hundred usually?
They also have a four-bedroom villa with a large swimming pool underground. A friend said every angle looks like a magazine picture, super beautiful!
I'm planning to gather a few friends to stay here during the summer vacation, hoping it doesn't get too popular and raise the prices too much.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it offers tranquility. 'Conglin Li·Wild Luxury B&B' is located here, enjoying a secluded paradise.
If you drive there, the location is also very advantageous, about an hour's drive from Guangzhou city center and the high-speed train station.
Design
The design was undertaken by a couple who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in the 70s. It took them over six years to design the whole project, blending Eastern aesthetics into the scenery of the south of the Yangtze River. The beauty of Zen and modernity coexists.
The transparent floor-to-ceiling glass brings the picturesque mountains
into the room as if freezing the natural beauty at this moment. The entire space continues the dark and indifferent temperament, then neutralized with soft and warm tones.
