Xixi Ancient Village is located in Liaobu, Dongguan, built during the Ming Dynasty, and has a history of over 530 years, truly a century-old village.
The ancient village buildings are built by the lake, which will be filled with lotus flowers in summer, and there is a boat restaurant on the lake called 'Moon Drunk Xixi', along with the ancient buildings by the lake, giving the feeling of being in a small Lijiang.
Xixi Ancient Village was originally named Luxi Village. As a well-preserved ancient village from the Ming Dynasty, it was actually started in the first year of the Tianqi era (1621), and has unknowingly experienced over 500 years of history. With a chessboard-like layout, every street is interconnected, and each street and building tells a story of history.

Xixi Ancient Village in Dongguan
In Dongguan | A charming old street you can't help but love|||Xixi Ancient Village is best accessed by self-driving; it's about an hour's drive from Guangzhou.
Parking is available on site, just navigate to "Xixi Ancient Village Parking Lot".
Upon entering, there are street food stalls and singers along the way, and a large lake on one side of the road, offering a pleasant scenery. Further ahead, there's a night market resembling a teahouse, adorned with many lanterns, exuding an ancient charm. It's a suitable place for enjoying a leisurely drink or for a stroll around the lake. Walking to the opposite side of the lake, you can get a full view of the teahouse, whose lights reflect beautifully on the lake surface.
Downside: The night market is small and can be explored in about twenty minutes. A leisurely walk around the lake, taking photos along the way, will take about an hour.
