A culinary journey begins at Tangshan Banquet in Hebei!
🍁Taste the flavors of Tangshan and experience its century-old history. Hey foodies, today we're going to Tangshan Banquet, a place where history and modern cuisine blend perfectly. Here, you can not only enjoy authentic Tangshan dishes, but also a variety of mouth-watering snacks. 😋
Stepping into Tangshan Banquet is like stepping back in time to the bustling streets of old Tangshan. The antique buildings and lively market atmosphere mean you can enjoy the food while taking in the sights, with surprises at every turn.
First up is the chess piece pastry, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a bite full of flavor! Then there's the traditional Tangshan snack, luo guo he, soft and delicious, served with a special sauce, it's simply amazing! 🍜
Next is fried gorgi, crispy and addictive; Tangshan fried cake and donkey meat bun are also must-try dishes. The fried cake is a century-old brand, selling 200,000 pieces a year. The donkey meat bun is juicy and delicious, served in a hot bun, it's simply heavenly!
If you're tired, have a cup of freshly ground soy milk or sour plum soup, it's refreshing and helps with digestion. 🥤
Tangshan Banquet is not only about food, but also about stories. Behind each shop is a story of inheritance and innovation, allowing you to feel the profound cultural heritage of the city while enjoying the food. 📖
Finally, remember to come to Tangshan Banquet on an empty stomach, because there are so many delicious foods, you won't want to leave until you're full! 🏃♂️
If you love food, don't miss this feast for your taste buds! Remember to bring your stomach and heart, see you at Tangshan Banquet~

Tangshan Yanwenlv Hotel.
The hotel is in a great location! The service is great! The environment is great! Hebei tourism is really good! Welcome fruit! The hotel facilities are great! The lobby display is great!
The hotel has been operating since 2011 and the facilities are not outdated, but are constantly updated.
There is parking at the door, and Tangshan Yan is downstairs without going out. Disposable items are also well prepared.
Promise me to check out and get his small wooden comb! I have it in my bag now. The whole is the main cost-effective! The service staff on each floor are very enthusiastic. We brought children and enthusiastically introduced delicious and fun things to the children.
A well-run hotel, recommended to everyone.

Tangshan/Hetou Old Street Dreaming back to the Tang Dynasty!
As the lanterns light up, I dream back to the Tang Dynasty
Hebei is really suitable for self-driving tours from Beijing, and this stop takes Arno to check in at Tangshan. Hetou Old Street is a place I really wanted to visit, where you can feel the lively atmosphere while tasting various delicious snacks. There are also various beautiful performances and interesting activities. It's really suitable for children over 2 years old to stroll, eat, and watch. We really felt the dedication and effort of Tangshan's cultural tourism~
Tips
Opening hours: Monday 16:00-22:30; Tuesday to Sunday 15:00-22:30, stop checking tickets at 22:00
Tickets and boat tickets: Free admission from Monday to Thursday, 68 yuan per person on Fridays to Sundays and public holidays, can be reserved on the WX public account, enter with the reservation QR code; boat tickets are 38 yuan per person for a half journey (10 minutes), 68 yuan per person for a full journey (20 minutes), take the boat at the Shengshi Wharf at the south gate, it is recommended to take the boat after the lights are on, the scenery is more beautiful
Journey and parking: It takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to drive from Beijing Tongzhou, the parking lot is large, and the fee is capped at 10 yuan
Photo check-in: Every place is a beautiful scene, really just take photos at will, there are many Hanfu studios inside, it's definitely more beautiful and atmospheric to take photos with a style
Accommodation and food: Snacks are concentrated at the South Gate Water Market, which gathers delicious food from all over the country, a good place for foodies. The hotel chose the Tangshan Yanwen Travel Hotel, mainly because the bustling Tangshan Yan downstairs allows easy access, but actually, the snacks at both places are basically the same, and later I found out that both are owned by the same boss~ Personally, I feel that going to Tangshan Yan is not as good as going directly to Hetou Old Street, the venue is bigger and the atmosphere is better

Qingming Festival Tangshan Travel Guide Summary - Day One
Before departure, charge the car, pack clothes and bedding in advance. 😊🚗💨
Day One: After breakfast, we set off with fruits, snacks, toys, books, etc., to pass the time on the road. To prevent boredom during the long car ride, I created a fun game with my child to look for bird nests in the trees along the way, seeing who could find them quickly and in large numbers. 🍎📚🚗😄
The first stop of the day was straight to Tangshan Banquet, a 'edible' museum and a key cultural tourism project in Tangshan City. It is a cultural and tourism commercial complex that integrates specialty dining, folk heritage, cultural display, scene experience, leisure sightseeing, and research practice. It is a large-scale original immersive indoor specialty dining and micro-vacation destination, an experience place. 🍽️🎉🏰🚀
I took my child inside while my husband parked the car. The place was quite crowded. The first floor features a folk culture experience street, designed around 'four streets, two alleys, one river', encompassing the variety of market life and folk customs. The snacks on the first floor are sold at stalls; after purchasing, you can sit anywhere you like. For popular food items, you might need to queue for a while. 🛍️🍢🚶♀️
Recommended foods: yogurt, Xiaoshan fried cake, Gezhi box, and others depending on personal preference. There is a courtyard with a pond that houses plump koi, and there are performances upstairs. You can enjoy the snacks by the pond while watching the show. 🍧🐠🎪👀
On the second floor, there are the Baixing Mansion folk courtyard Chinese restaurant, the Eight Banners Beileye Palace Court Hot Pot Restaurant, and the Yanshan Academy, which inherits the allusion of 'Dou Yanshan, who has a righteous way, teaches five sons, whose names are all celebrated'. There are also the Sahan'er Paradise, an internet-famous library, and more. Later, as it got more crowded, we didn't explore much of the second floor, but those interested can take a look. 🍽️📚🎭🎡
The third floor has some restaurants and scenic spots, while the fourth to eighth floors are the guest rooms of the Tangshan Banquet Cultural and Tourism Hotel, which allows direct access to the Tangshan Banquet dining area without queuing at the entrance. If you want to focus on exploring Tangshan Banquet and are worried about being limited by the crowd during peak times, consider staying at the Tangshan Banquet Cultural and Tourism Hotel. 🏨🚪🍽️🚶♂️
After dining, we checked into the hotel and then went to Hetou Old Street. Upon arrival, we found that parking required a long queue. In hindsight, it would have been better to park at the hotel and take a taxi, saving time and hassle. Before getting out of the car, I dressed my daughter in the Hanfu I had bought in advance. Then we just strolled around. It's built along the river with Tang Dynasty architecture and decorations, modeled after the Tang Dynasty's Everbright City, but also very thoughtful and unique. Worth visiting, especially when the lights come on at night, giving the impression of a dreamlike journey back to the Tang Dynasty. 🌆✨🏛️🎭
From Monday to Thursday, you can visit for free by appointment. On Fridays to Sundays, public holidays, summer vacation, Spring Festival, and other event periods, you need to buy a ticket for 39 yuan per person. The parking lot charges 2 yuan per hour, with a maximum of 10 yuan. 🎟️🚗💰
There are boat parades with different themes in the river, as well as a tourist boat that visitors can ride. 🚢🎪🌊
Including Hetou Old Street, Tair Merchant Banquet, Water Market, Old Car Persimmon Collection, Hetou Cultural Square, Eastern Expedition Cultural Square, Huaiyuan Bridge, Happiness Tree, Wangzhen Square, Tangshan Speech Square, Linglu Inquiry, Prayer Square, and other areas. 🏯🎪🌳🛍️
On different stages, there are acrobatic performances, match-making by the God of Marriage, Tang Music Square playing folk music, and various dance performances. 💃🎶🎭
Every so often, there are stalls selling various snacks. 🍡🍢🍧🍿
In short, I personally think it's worth a visit. 🌊🚶♀️😄
