Strange scene YinYangHai(阴阳海) - A bay where the sea is a mix of yellow & blue.
#海滩 #旅行酷体验 #旅行灵感 #景点拍照指南
Located beside the northern coastal road in the Gold Ecological Park region, a curiously colored patch of water. Due to the pollution from nearby mining activities in years past, local belief that the coloration of this bay was caused by insoluble floating iron in the water and it’s not suitable for swimming.
The Yinyang Sea is famous for its unique color, which is a mix of blue and yellow. It is a remarkable geographical landscape in the coastal region of Taiwan’s northeast corner. Take a step back, and open your mind to the beauty of nature.

When minerals meets water- YinYang Sea
Best viewing location of Yin Yang Sea will be at Shui Nan Bus stop- YinYang Sea Observation deck (水湳洞-陰陽海觀景台) Do look out for cars if you want to grab a shot on the road. This area is perfect for your Instagram shots as well, it’s not very accessible so I will recommend you guys to charter a car tour or can rent a car to drive over. Best season to visit will be summer if you really want a good shot, if not most of the time it will be drizzling around the area just like my rainy photos. #Yinyangsea #newtaipei #Youtohbindou

Taipei, Jiufen, super beautiful small attractions "Small Kamakura" Yin Yanghai
this time to go to Jiufen, take the road to check out the small Kamakura in Taiwan: Yin Yanghai, really beautiful on sunny days ! Do not lose the "authentic" Kamakura in Japan!
Itinerary:
Yinyanghai is next to Jiufen. It is recommended to play with Jiufen; you can also go to the Pingxi train to play together.
Transportation:
There are buses to Jiuyang Old Street and Ruifang Station to Yinyanghai. Take Bus No. 856 to get off at Shuinongdong, but 856 is really super difficult! One hour and one bus, so I suggest you still take a taxi.
We took a taxi from Jiufen Old Street and talked with the driver about the price in advance, 600 Taiwan dollars for the whole journey. The midway driver took us to the Golden Falls to see the yin and yang, let the driver wait a minute, we took about 20 minutes, really embarrassed, but the driver did not complain, and finally sent us to Ruifang station , ride back to Taipei.
The best shooting position
The best shooting position is shown in Figure 7, which is what the driver told us, because the photographer stands taller and can shoot more seas.
There is also a small platform next to it, which can be used to shoot the entire sea, very spectacular.
The origin of the name of Yin and Yang Hai
Before going to Yinyanghai, I dont know why it is called Yinyanghai. I only know that it is a small Kamakura in Taiwan. When I came here, I understood the second, because the sea here has two colors, half blue, half yellow, and looks very much like yin and yang.
Have any questions, please leave a message in the comments, I will reply

One second to Japan! See the coastal train line and Yin-Yang Sea.
Yin-Yang Sea is famous for its unique geological landscape. The place gets its name from the two distinct parts of the bay, one side with bright blue water called Yang Sea, and the other side with black water called Yin Sea, hence the name Yin-Yang Sea.
The peculiar landscape of Yin-Yang Sea is due to the minerals deposited in the bay, causing the water to display different colors. The contrast between the blue Yang Sea and the black Yin Sea creates a magnificent and mysterious natural picture.
Visitors to Yin-Yang Sea can not only appreciate this unique geological landscape but also enjoy the tranquility and relaxation brought by the bay's beach, sea breeze, and waves. There are also some trails and viewing platforms nearby, allowing visitors to overlook the magnificent scenery of the entire Yin-Yang Sea.

New Taipei City, Taiwan | Must-visit attraction "Jiufen"
#Great Places in September 2024
📝If you come to Taiwan and haven’t been to Jiufen, you haven’t been to Taiwan. This is something I love to joke with my friends. Jiufen became famous because of Hou Hsiao-hsien’s movie "Sad City", and also because it looks very much like Hayao Miyazaki. The scenes of the anime [Kami Hidden Girl] attracted many Japanese friends to come here! Share some must-go stores in Jiufen!
✨Amei Teahouse
This store is highly recommended and must be visited. The exterior building materials are made of red lanterns made of wood. It has a strong Japanese architectural style. The whole building is full of nostalgia. When you close your eyes, you feel like you have entered the world of "The Hidden Girl". Amei In addition to refreshments, the teahouse also provides meals during part of the time~
✨Ginkgo forest
I can go to Jiufen again for their Pearl Amber Almond Tea and Zhenma Xingfu Drink. They use almonds as the base and hand-fried sugar to make gold, supplemented by QQ Pearls. No creamer, coloring, flavoring, preservatives or preservatives are added. Caffeine gives you a healthy taste in every sip. Although I don’t like pearl milk tea very much, the special sesame pearls of Zhenmaxingfu drink are really very elastic and have a strong sesame aroma. The taste is very special, I like it💕
✨Wugu Tea Food
Wugu Chaliang is a comfortable store that is different from the antiques in Jiufen. It provides travelers with a resting place in a simple and elegant style.
✏️There are also many delicacies, especially the "Jiufen Gold Mine Ice Cream" which is infiltrated with Jiufen's special taro balls, pearls and vanilla and served with "Utang Pancake". It feels as delicious, photo-taking and fun as digging for gold!
📷 Regarding scenic spots, share a few good places to take photos.
✨13th floor ruins
✨Gullfoss Waterfall
✨Yin Yang Sea
✏️We will experience kimono when we go to Japan, and wear hanbok when we go to Korea. In a quaint place like Jiufen in Taiwan, of course we must also experience cheongsam. The cheongsam shop we tried this time is called CHIPAO, which is just 2 steps away from the entrance of Jiufen Old Street. You can reach the old street in minutes (it’s really super close). In the past, you could only take photos indoors, but now you can rent it for a whole day and take photos around Jiufen. If you want girls to style their hair, it only costs NT$160. It’s perfect! There will be furry shawls in autumn, so don’t worry about being too cold👍🏻

Yinyang Sea in Ruifang District, Taipei: A Unique Sea Color Not to Be Missed!
If you're looking for a unique and scenic spot in Taipei, Yinyang Sea in Ruifang District is definitely a great choice. This natural wonder, located near Jinguashi in New Taipei City, is famous for its distinctive sea colors, attracting numerous tourists every year for photo opportunities.
The name Yinyang Sea comes from the contrasting colors of the water: one side is yellowish-brown, while the other is blue, creating a striking contrast as if there's a clear boundary. This unique phenomenon is caused by iron oxide released from nearby mines, blending with the blue seawater to create such a spectacular natural scene.
Walking up the small path beside Yinyang Sea, you can overlook the entire sea area, offering breathtaking views, especially under the sunlight when the sea colors become even more vivid, presenting a stunningly beautiful landscape.
This place is not only perfect for taking photos but also a great spot to learn about natural wonders and geological phenomena. Every photo captures magnificent scenery, leaving unforgettable memories of your trip.
In summary, Yinyang Sea is a must-visit attraction in the Taipei area. Whether you're a nature lover or a photography enthusiast, you'll find endless inspiration and joy here. We look forward to your visit to experience the unique charm of Taipei firsthand!

New Taipei City Day Tour | Little Kamakura in Taipei.
1. Yin Yang Sea
When you stand on the observation deck of the Shuinandong parking lot, you can clearly see the entire Yin Yang Sea. At that moment, you will notice that the sea presents a yellow-brown and azure blue color, with what seems like a dividing line in the middle that separates the sea into two distinct colors, which is quite rare.
The coastal road along the Yin Yang Sea also resembles the classic scene from the movie 'Our Little Sister' at the Kamakura High School Front Station in Japan, giving people the illusion of being in Kamakura, Japan.
Address: Yin Yang Sea on the north side of the Shuinandong settlement in Ruifang District, New Taipei City
Transportation: Take bus 856 or 826 to Shuinandong Station.
2. The Thirteen Levels
The Thirteen Levels was once the largest smelting plant in the area around Shuinandong.
When you stand on the observation deck of the Shuinandong parking lot, you will see the Thirteen Levels right across the Yin Yang Sea, a two-for-one sight.
From the photos, it can be seen that the site still preserves industrial relics and architectural structures. Viewed from a distance, the Thirteen Levels looks like a palace forgotten by time, surrounded by dense trees and piles of grass, exuding a unique desolate beauty and allowing you to witness this historical relic.
3. The Nameless Coffee Shop in Jinshan
There is a popular check-in spot along the New Taipei coastline, which is this nameless coffee shop!
The coffee shop has a yellow exterior and is located next to a sloping path. Outside the shop, there are decorations like lifeboats and lifebuoys. The shop offers a variety of food and drink options, such as curry beef rice, freshly baked pizza, desserts, hot chocolate, etc., which are quite tasty. The minimum consumption per person is one drink, with a 90-minute time limit.
For those who love to watch the sea and relax in a coffee shop, this is a place where you can enjoy both pleasures!
Address: No. 4, Dangjin Highway, Jinshan District, New Taipei City

Nature's Harmonious Artistry
#hiddengems
Yin Yang Sea is definitely a hidden jem in northeastern of Taiwan! It is a captivating natural phenomenon due to a Vibrant Colour Contrast between the blue and yellow-brown waters which symbolises the Yin and Yang energy.
This natural occurrence is a result of minerals and metals in the surrounding hillsides which creates a visually stunning yin and yang symbol.
The colours of the sea can change throughout the day, creating a dynamic and ever-evolving visual display. The interplay of light and minerals in the water causes the sea to shift between shades of blue and golden hues.
Beyond the mesmerizing colors, Ying Yang Sea offers stunning coastal scenery, with dramatic cliffs, crashing waves, and a rugged, unspoiled coastline.
Visiting Yin Yang Sea provides a chance to witness the breathtaking beauty of nature and to reflect on the interplay of elements that create this stunning visual phenomenon.

Yin Yang Sea
Along the northern coastal region of Rui Fang district, there is a strange occurrence where the sea has a mix of yellow and blue. The unique presentation is contributed by the water containing high concentrations of iron ions flowing into the sea.
There is a observation deck for you to admire nature’s beauty from the top. Behind you, there is the beautiful Kee Lung Mountain.
How to get here? We got there by taxi, but you can also get a bus / drive here.
I recommend coming here when the sky is bright so the contrasting colours would be more obvious.
