Hometown of Zhang Fei

Zhang Fei Temple, located in Zhongyi Shop, the hometown of Liu Bei and Zhang Fei. The Temple of Marquis Zhang was rebuilt in 1991. More than fifty acres of temples are arranged in order, including the mountain gate, horse palace, main hall, banquet hall, and tomb. To the south of the Temple of Marquis, there is a 'Hometown of the Oath of the Peach Garden', a lush peach garden. In the peach garden, there is an 'Ancient Well of Zhang Fei' and a horse trough, with a stele of Emperor Zhaolie of Han and the alliance hometown, and the stele of the ancient well of Marquis Zhang.
It is said that Zhang Fei, who was defending Langzhong and eager to avenge the Eastern Wu, was assassinated by his generals Fan Jiang and Zhang Da. Fan and Zhang, who fled to the Eastern Wu, heard that the master of the Eastern Wu had changed his mind halfway, so they threw Zhang Fei's head into the Yangtze River. Later, it was salvaged and buried on Phoenix Mountain on the opposite bank of Yunyang, and the earliest Zhang Fei Temple was built. Since then, there has been a legend that Zhang Fei's 'body is buried in Langzhong, and his head is buried in Yunyang'.
It is said that the tomb of Zhang Fei in Zhongyi Shop, Zhuozhou, Hebei, took some soil from the tombs of Zhang Fei in Langzhong and Yunyang, which is also a symbol and return of the soul to the hometown!
