Zhaohua has a history of over 4,000 years and a continuous county history of 2,244 years. It is one of the earliest county seats in ancient China and is known as the "First County of Bashu and the Second Capital of Shu". It is particularly famous for its Three Kingdoms culture. Historically, it was said that "Shu Han rose in Zhaohua and fell at Jianmen". The Confucian temple and examination hall in Zhaohua Ancient City were said to be restored in 2008 according to the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There is no relevant introduction to the City God Temple, but it seems to be a renovated building, at least allowing tourists entering the ancient city to have a more three-dimensional visual effect.
