My taipei trip! Keelung’s colorful Zhengbin Fishing Port is a vibrant sight, with its row of brightly painted buildings reflecting on the water. Often dubbed Taiwan's "Santorini," this picturesque spot offers a charming atmosphere for strolling, photography, and experiencing local seafood. It's a unique blend of culture, history, and scenic beauty worth visiting.#keelung

Vibrance, Beauty, and Calmness combined
I was impressed by the calm and scenic beauty of Zhengbin Fishing Harbor. The serene atmosphere and picturesque views made for a relaxing visit. I enjoyed watching a few white sea birds and exploring the area, particularly the cute cafes scattered around the port, which added a delightful touch to the experience. It’s indeed a great spot for a peaceful escape.

A rainy day @Zhengbin Port Color Houses
Zhengbin Port Color Houses is an hour and a half from Taipei main station with nice weather but you better check the forecast since I went on the rainy day and unfortunately unable to go up to Heping Island GeoPark and Keelung nightmare. I able to capture the colors houses at least!.

Seafood, delicious, cheap, at the colorful port
#dreamdestination Seafood, delicious, cheap, at the colorful port
We took a bus for a long distance, and then took a train for another hour.
Now that we're at the colorful port,
After taking pictures, we felt that there's not much to do in this area.
So we crossed the road and walked to the left.
Then we crossed the big yellow bridge.
We looked to the right and saw many seafood restaurants and then we found restaurant number 35.
This restaurant was recommended as a cheap and good restaurant.
And it wasn't wrong.
The menu we ordered today was fried rice with dried shrimp, boiled squid, sashimi, and the star of the show was stir-fried shark belly with spicy flavors like eating in Thailand. The bill came to less than 1,000 baht.

Venice of Taiwan - Zhengbin Fishing Harbour
How To Go: Accessible via Public Bus Route 101 originating from Keelung Railway Station.
What to Eat: There are a number of cafes nearby selling shaved ice also known as 剉冰 (tsuah bing) and opposite the harbour is a row of restaurants selling seafood where their freshness is almost guaranteed.
What to See: The fishing harbour is also famous for its shops painted in rainbow colours which earned it a nickname "The Venice of Taiwan". There is also an abandoned shipyard opposite it which is said to be featured in the Avengers movie.

Zheng-bin Fishing Harbour- Keelung
One instagram photography location to visit if you are at Taiwan-Keelung. Zheng Bin Fishing Harbour 正濱漁港, nice view of rainbow coloured buildings with a sea view. There are also boats parking around the area. 1 fun fact: the colours you see in front and the back is different, at the back of the building there are actually no colours. Great place to stroll along too to enjoy some sea breeze. #keelung #taiwan #Youtohbindou
