The visit to Postojna cave is a very unique experience. It's a world famous cave with 140 year old train system that takes you inside the cave. Come prepared for cold even in the middle of the summer. Inside the cave you can see Proteus in it's natural environment. The tickets can be bought online or offline Infront of the cave. There are also plenty of opportunities to buy souvenirs outside the cave. #cave

The crystal chandeliers highlight the stalactites, creating a gorgeous yet unobtrusive effect. Unlike the colorful lights of other caves, only a yellowish light illuminates the cave, revealing its pristine beauty. It's said that it takes ten years for a stalactite to grow just one millimeter tall. This is a masterpiece of nature, created bit by bit. The caves are incredibly varied, with stalactites changing with the size and composition of the cave. Within this craggy landscape, imagination is constantly on the line. If Postojna Cave feels like an alternate side of Earth, then the Škocjan Caves feel like something from another universe. I personally recommend the latter. Although less accessible and photography is prohibited, it remains remarkably pristine, giving you the feeling of returning to the countryside. The damp and dim atmosphere creates a hazy illusion; the dim lights and the faint sound of flowing water add a touch of mystery to every step. A visit to the Škocjan Caves is like an exploration into the center of the Earth, transforming your understanding of the Earth with a breathtaking visual experience. Photography is prohibited inside the caves, so you'll have to explore on your own. The Predjama castle is located in Slovenia. the castle itself is around 800 years old which makes its castle look ancient and interesting along with the mysterious story. The castle built with in the cave mouth and you can easily walk into the cave through the castle. I took one day trip to Postojna cave and the Predjama Castle. The mysterious thing that I heard from the audio guide is many times foot steps and voices are heard all around at night. ✨ I was taking a picture and took many video all around the castle and the old little window was so striking my eyes. I opened it and I could see the beautiful view from the castle and ok I was thinking ummm…. let’s close it and open it again this time gonna be my reels on Instagram! so I closed the window and would like to open it with my hand, but before my hand reached to the window, the window itself just opened beautifully! 🪟 I thought it was the wind at first, but I realized I couldn’t feel any wind blowing on my face.
