This is considered a suburb of DC and can be reached nearby by bus. The air in the forest park is very fresh when walking, and it does not require much equipment. The road is very flat. You can see the gate mechanism within 20 minutes of walking along the canal. Walking towards the forest, you will see a platform with a small waterfall behind it (the terrain of the Ice Age) fault), very spectacular!
