We went there around five in the afternoon and the lighting was perfect. Afterwards we walked around the area and watched many locals play football and rugby. Fountain Valley Resort, in Pretoria South Africa, such a beautiful place filled with statues of phenomenal struggle heroes and heroines. So much history to be enjoyed, and you get to understand what the country went through. It is a fun place to go to as a family, and you can take your friends there as well, it has a swimming pool, berbecue place, picnic spots where you can relax under the tree close to nature and take it all in. Church Square Church Square, originally Market Square, is the square at the historic centre of the city of Pretoria, South Africa. The square's most prominent feature is the statue of the late Boer leader and president of the South African Republic . Visiting here healed a deep-seated wound I had never known before. Just stepping into the museum made me feel rediscovered, understood, and accepted. I highly recommend this museum, and I will definitely visit again. A perfect experience! It was truly worth the trip, a must-see when visiting South Africa.

#NovemberDestinations2025 Pretoria Zoo: The animals are very well cared for. The restrooms are also very clean. There are many picnic spots, a zoo shop (opens at 9 am), and the Duku restaurant. They recently renovated and reopened the seal enclosure. The only animal we didn't see was an elephant, but they have two species of hippos, two species of buffalo, leopards, lions, tigers, and many species of birds. Golf carts are convenient, but there are also many trees and beautiful trails within the park. However, if you take a golf cart, you might miss some less common animals, such as the pygmy hippopotamus!
