Food taste: This time, we have chosen Uni (sea urchin), giant clams, chirashi (mix of different sashimi over rice), and wagyu sushi, it was tasty, a highlight of the meal. This is our first Impression of the place: From outside, it doesn’t look authentic at all. It has an architecture of Japanese temple during Asuka period, when Chinese Tang Dynasty has lots of influence into the Japanese arts and culture. Frankly, we step into the place with doubts. Our 2nd Impression: Once we step inside, we have discovered two Japanese chefs work tirelessly behind a very beautiful wooden sushi counter. The decoration is tasteful. Avg. price per person: $75

The decoration is tasteful. Food taste: They use blue fin farmed tuna from Mexico. the Kama toro(1st pic) is the fatty neck part of the fish, it is the most tasteful park of the tuna. Melts in our mouths, actually. So creamy. This is the most expensive. $25 a piece. ChuToro (pic 2), OToro (pic 3) and NigiToro, mixed toro with green onions (pic 3) are equally tasty. Price per person: $100

Conrad Punta de Mita Hotel Restaurant Codex|||Codex is located in the Conrad Hotel, but is actually a separate area by the sea. You can walk there from the beach or take the hotel's golf cart. We only managed to book a table for 8:30 pm. We walked across a wooden bridge to the restaurant. There are private seats in the woods, which require a special reservation. Our table was nearby. I ordered the soft shell crab and my husband ordered a grilled fish. Neither dish was amazing, but they met our expectations. For dessert, we ordered the Black Velvet, which is said to be a specialty. It is made with roses and liquid nitrogen for atmosphere. The chocolate is filled with ice cream, but it is too sweet after a few bites. The final surprise was a box of homemade banana chocolate, which I thought was better than the dessert we ordered. There was an event today, and halfway through our meal, we saw a group of people walking to the beach entrance. The waiter said there would be fireworks soon and that we could go and watch them. So we got to enjoy a fireworks show on the beach. We had been complaining that it was too dark to enjoy a sunset dinner on the beach, but the fireworks made up for it. Recommended for a vacation.

W Hotel's breakfast: French Toast, very soft and sweet, I also ordered a yogurt, very thick, paired with oatmeal and nuts. At noon, we randomly found a restaurant to eat at in Punta de Mita. The view of the sea was unbeatable! However, many restaurants here face the sea, and the perfect weather makes everything beautiful. In the evening, at the restaurant of St. Regis hotel, the hotel's swimming pool is amazing! Under the starry sky, facing the sunset, listening to the waves, experiencing the ultimate feeling on the sandy beach by the bonfire.

Address - Si Sushi in Punta Mita Avg. Price per Person - $50-100 Rating - 10/10 My best sushi experience in a while. Truly comparable to some of the better ones in Japan. I love sushi and have eaten at more than 300 sushi restaurant all over the world (mostly in Tokyo). Other than the variety and freshness of the fish, the vinegar rice (they use imported brown Japanese vinegar and Japanese origin South America short grain), technique and the charm of the chef are also crucial to a pleasant sushi experiences. Sushi chef Yosuke San and Nami San (a retired well-known sumo wrestler) have brought us a delicious and entertaining evening with their sushi. I would rated this defiantly the top in PV and one of the best in America. And best of all, the price is much reasonable beyond expectation.
