I really miss the ice and snow world of northern Guangdong! Those who want to experience it, get ready to set off anytime! If you want to go off-roading at Yunbing Mountain from Xiaodongkou, just follow the cement road straight up from Xiaodongkou! You'll see the same stunning icicles and snow scenery. The cement road follows the valley, is car-friendly, and the ground doesn't get very icy, so you can drive directly into the ice and snow world. You can also park your car on the side of the road and then hike up the mountain. You really need to be dressed warmly to see the icicles here! My boyfriend and I took advantage of the weekend to avoid the crowds and went to Chizhou for two days of sightseeing and food. Here's a guide to a trip with no disappointments and plenty of photo opportunities! Day 1️⃣ Friday night, we drove directly to Guniujiang Scenic Area. Guniujiang, known as "the last primeval forest in East China" and "Little Jiuzhaigou of Southern Anhui," is a must-visit for my boyfriend and me every time we come to Chizhou. 🅿️ It's very convenient to get there, and visiting in late autumn to enjoy the autumn scenery is definitely worthwhile. Day 2️⃣ Dayuan Cultural Park >>>>> Hongyunlou Restaurant. "I will not become a Buddha until hell is empty; I will not attain enlightenment until all sentient beings are liberated." Entering the cultural park reminded me of this saying. Being here truly felt like a spiritual purification. After visiting the cultural park, we were exhausted. After two days of travel, we really wanted to eat authentic Anhui cuisine, so we chose a restaurant frequented by locals. 🐟Stinky mandarin fish—it smelled pungent, but the taste was amazing!
