Hundreds of dollars for a thousand-dollar experience, it was really comfortable! 😉
The hotel was renovated last year, the lobby is very artistic, and there are coffee, drinks, and snacks in the lobby that you can enjoy at will. 😍
The room is nicely decorated, and the service is great. The bathroom has double sinks, and the facilities are very thoughtful, with mouthwash, makeup remover wipes, disposable towels, contact lens solution/case, toilet seat covers, and other small items all prepared. Like the homestays I stayed in Yunnan, there is also afternoon tea in the afternoon ❤️.
The hotel is conveniently located, close to everywhere! 👌
Mingyue Island: A Fusion of Nature and Culture in Qiqihar!
🌳 A Fusion of Nature and History
Mingyue Island in Qiqihar is like a bright pearl in the Nenjiang River, resembling a bright moon reflected in the river, hence the name. It is not only a paradise for nature lovers but also a witness to history. The island is lush with trees and flowers, and its natural scenery is so beautiful that it feels like being in a vivid landscape painting.
🏰 The Charm of Ancient Architecture
The Wanshan Temple ancient architecture complex on the island is breathtaking with its exquisite elegance and splendid carved beams and painted rafters. These ancient buildings are not only a sediment of history but also a heritage of culture, allowing visitors to feel the rich charm of Chinese culture during their visit.
🚂 A Unique Experience on the Island Train
Another highlight of Mingyue Island is the longest children's sightseeing train railway in China. Taking a train ride around the island offers a panoramic view of the island's scenery and a taste of the grandeur of the northern country.
🌸 The Charm of Changing Seasons
In spring and summer, wildflowers bloom on the island, filling the air with fragrance; in autumn, fallen leaves are everywhere, with yellow sand and leaves, and clear skies and water; in winter, the island is covered in snow, creating a pure and dust-free landscape that adds to the island's tranquility and gentleness.
🌟 Summary
Mingyue Island, with its natural freshness and rugged simplicity, offers a gentle island in the northern wilderness, full of poetic and picturesque charm. Whether strolling through the ancient architecture complex or taking a train ride around the island, Mingyue Island always leaves unforgettable memories.
Solo Trip to Northeast China Day 4 | Qiqihar is so beautiful and so cold.
| Qiqihar is so beautiful and so cold.
In the morning, I went to Zhalong with my friends from the youth hostel.
10:30 Take Bus 306 at the terminal to Zhalong Scenic Area. The one-way ticket is CNY 10.
Note that the bus has a fixed departure time. We arrived at 10:03 and missed the 10:00 bus.
Arrive at the scenic area at 11:30. Take the small train to the interior of the scenic area, get off, and walk for 10 minutes to the release site. The release is at 12:30.
Then the wait began.
The scenery is beautiful. The lake sparkles in the sun, and a whole field of yellow asparagus sways in the wind (is it reeds?) This is my favorite autumn scene.
But it was too cold. The wind was strong. It was so cold that even a thick down jacket didn't help. You must wear a furry hat and gloves (my hands were frozen).
At 12:30, the staff waved a small flag on the hill.
A few minutes later, the cranes began to fly in a circle. Yes, just one circle. If you blink, you may miss it. It takes about a minute.
If the scenery wasn't so beautiful, I would have shouted "refund" on the spot. Remember to stand on the far left or far right.
After watching, take the scenic area bus back to the entrance at 13:30.
Note the time. There are few buses in the off-season. If you are late, you will have to wait until after 15:00. Take Bus 306 back to the city (the last bus is at 17:00).
I'm going to Mohe tonight.
If you are interested, you can follow me. There are many more trips. Qiqihar, Heilongjiang

Qiqihar | A city worth visiting for its barbecue.
——On the first day of the holiday, we chose to visit Qiqihar, a nearby city, to enjoy barbecue and climb Nianzishan Mountain. We had a fulfilling day in Qiqihar 😊
.
👉Barbecue—Sasa Mi
Barbecue in Qiqihar was the main reason for our trip. Our original plan was to visit Mijia Family Barbecue, but the long line outside the restaurant made us change our minds. We went to Sasa Mi nearby instead, and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious 😋 and the environment was great. I recommend the family mixed meat, which is the best value for money 👍
.
👉Feihe Ranch Flagship Store
As the most famous dairy company in Qiqihar, Feihe has opened its own flagship store in the city. We bought yogurt and milk bricks there, and the best feedback we received was for the cheese blocks 😂
.
👉Fo'er Temple
A Buddhist temple located at the foot of Nianzishan Mountain. We planned to visit it on our way, but it was closed for maintenance. We flew a drone to get a bird's-eye view of the temple.
.
👉Hegang's First Peak
We drove directly to the top of the mountain from the temple, navigating to Hegang's First Peak. There is no entrance fee, but please be aware of forest fire prevention. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the view of the town, which is perfect for taking photos 😊
.
👉Nianzishan District
In the evening, we arrived at Nianzishan District, took photos in front of the Cultural Palace, took a short break, and ended our day in Qiqihar 😊
Qiqihar | Zhaoxing's Big Meat.
——As one of Qiqihar's calling cards, barbecue has always attracted countless tourists to the city to feast. After trying many barbecue restaurants in the city, I decided to go to Meilisi Town, Qiqihar, a place known as the "Barbecue Town," to see what makes it different.
.
👉Meilisi Town
Under the jurisdiction of Meilisi Daur District, Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province, Meilisi Town began its agricultural civilization 300 years ago. Located in the golden milk source belt at 47 degrees north latitude, Meilisi is Heilongjiang's own "Altay," providing a strong guarantee for large-scale animal husbandry. The town's Meilisi Big Meat is famous far and wide, and it is also home to the only barbecue culture exhibition hall in Qiqihar.
.
👉Zhaoxing's Big Meat
Driving is the best way to get here for barbecue. There are plenty of parking spaces, and the location is easy to find. There are many waiters, and they change the grill very promptly. The service is also good.
➡️Snowflake Ribs: The snowflake pattern of the meat is beautiful, with a moderate mix of fat and lean, and a strong beef tallow aroma.
➡️Traditional Marinated Meat: A must-order at every barbecue restaurant in Qiqihar, the taste is similar, but the price is cheaper.
.
Unlike the indoor internet-famous barbecue restaurants, this place is more down-to-earth, with its own unique barbecue philosophy. The prices are also cheaper than in the city, making it a great place for self-driving tourists to try.
📍Address: Next to Yuguo Fur Acquisition Department, Meilisi Road, Qiqihar

The home of red-crowned cranes - Zhalong Nature Reserve in Qiqihar.
Traveling over 3,000 km for a song...
Do you remember the crane protector Xu Xiujun, who sacrificed her life to protect red-crowned cranes 30 years ago?
Zhu Zheqin's song "A True Story" (also known as "The Story of the Red-Crowned Crane") is a beautiful song that has been sung for over 30 years. It carries Xu Xiujun's chivalrous tenderness and the beauty of the red-crowned crane, becoming a melody that will forever resonate in my heart. With the reeds flying and the birds gathering, I finally arrived at the home of the red-crowned crane - Zhalong Nature Reserve.
Zhalong Nature Reserve is the largest wetland in Asia and the fourth largest in the world. Its magnificent reed landscape is breathtaking and has been recognized as the largest reed wetland in the world. Zhalong Reserve is the home of the red-crowned crane, with 6 of the world's 15 crane species found here! The number of red-crowned cranes is particularly impressive, making it the largest breeding ground for red-crowned cranes in the world.
In Zhalong Nature Reserve, the water ripples, the reeds sway, and the red-crowned cranes gracefully soar in the sky. Here, you can observe the life habits of the red-crowned cranes up close and appreciate their noble and elegant demeanor. Only by protecting wildlife and achieving harmony between humans and nature can we truly love nature.
📸: There are photo spots in the park, such as China Post, pavilions, swings, the Zhalong Wetland Museum, a lonely bench, the lake, and free-roaming red-crowned cranes.
📝 Tips:
The daily crane release times are 9:30, 11:00, 14:00, and 15:30.
📍 Address: Zhalong Village, Zhalong Town, Tiefeng District, Qiqihar City
🏝️ Booking guide: Buy tickets on Trip.com for CNY 73 (includes ferry service)
🚗 Transportation guide: Bus fare is CNY 10 per person, take bus 306 from Qiqihar Railway Station
Taxi: About CNY 60 from the railway station; carpooling is more cost-effective
💗 Other tips: The best time to visit is May to September
I recommend this hotel in Qiqihar. Parking is convenient.
🏘️ Room type/layout:
The room is regular, and the windows are bright.
🧹 Soundproofing/hygiene:
The door is thick, the soundproofing is good, and the guests are of high quality. They don't make noise in the corridor, and there is no obvious smell of smoke. The hygiene is average.
🏕️ Nearby attractions:
Cross the pedestrian bridge to Wanda Plaza. The night view downstairs is nice, and it's convenient for shopping and walking.
💰️ Per capita consumption:
CNY 500

I have to visit the Mahayana Temple | I don't know why, but I love the smell of incense.
Today I have no class, nothing to do, and I'm a little bored, so I thought I'd go for a walk in the Buddhist temple. I smelled the incense from a distance from the Mahayana Temple, and I really liked it.
I don't know why, but I really like the smell of incense in the temple, it's like a "love at first sight" feeling. Last year in Suzhou Hanshan Temple, the pen I used for copying the scriptures also had this smell. I wanted to ask the staff for the link of the pen, but I didn't ask later, and I don't remember why. (I don't remember if I went to Hanshan Temple last year or the year before, I had to flip through my WeChat Moments to find out, and I couldn't help but sigh that I had posted so many Moments in just two years)
There are not many people in the temple, I walk on a small path covered with some fallen leaves, looking at the golden leaves hanging on the big trees on both sides of the road, I feel the autumn is getting stronger.
I walked to a corner and found it was a good place to take pictures, so I stopped and took pictures randomly and seriously. I forgot to pay attention to the steps under my feet, and I stepped on the air. When I was about to fall, a big hand pulled me in time.
It was a monk who passed by and pulled me, and he was about the same age as me.
"Thank you... thank you." After standing firm, I touched my glasses frame a little embarrassedly.
Seeing that the other party did not let go of my hand, I looked up at him suspiciously, but I didn't want to meet a pair of red eyes.
I don't know what's wrong with me, my heart hurts suddenly.
"Miss, you look like someone I used to know."
Guan Di Temple.
On the way to the morning market, you can see the century-old Longsha Park. Near the children's playground in the central area of Longsha Park, there is a north-south access road. On the east side of the access road is the famous national cultural relic protection building - the old site of Heilongjiang Library, also known as Wanjuan Pavilion. The west side is also an ancient building. From left to right, they are Guan Di Temple, Taoist Association, and Shou Gong Temple. In terms of architectural history and influence, Guan Di Temple is the longest.
Guan Di Temple, also known as Guan Gong Temple, is located in Longsha Park, 34 Gongyuan Road, Longsha District, and is adjacent to Shou Gong Temple in the west. It was built in the fourth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1739), covering an area of more than 2,800 square meters. It is composed of the main hall, the main hall, the rear hall, the east and west side halls and the bell and drum tower. The overall architectural style is the palace style of the Qing Dynasty. It is now used by the Qiqihar Taoist Association.
A paradise on earth, beautiful scenery everywhere! A trip to Moon Island.
A paradise on earth, beautiful scenery everywhere. I took my parents on a trip and chose a route to Moon Island Pier, and then took a boat directly to the island. After getting off the island, I rented a four-person electric car, which cost CNY 150/hour, and a two-person car cost CNY 100/hour. Because I didn't take many photos, one hour was enough.
The island is large and the attractions are scattered, so it is inconvenient to walk. The electric car is an ideal choice. I drove slowly on the island, enjoying the scenery everywhere, and felt very comfortable. Moon Island is located in Qiqihar, with beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural landscapes, which is fascinating.
Although this trip was short, it was fulfilling, and my parents were very satisfied. The trip to Moon Island not only relaxed my body and mind, but also was an unforgettable family time. In travel, the important thing is mood and company, not the complexity and length of the itinerary.
Who says there are no mountains in the Northeast? Have you been to Nianzi Mountain?
Nianzi Mountain Area, Qiqihar
On the vast Songnen Plain, there is a Nianzi Mountain. On the mountain, there is a Snake Immortal Cave. It is said that when the Russians were building a railway here, a snake came out of the cave and was discovered. The Russians bombarded the snake, but were swept by the snake's tail and many were injured. The villagers then worshipped the snake. Although it is difficult to verify, there are indeed traces of ancient human activities in Nianzi Mountain, and it is also a rare place to climb mountains and see the scenery on the plain.
Everyone who reaches the top of the mountain will say: It's not tiring to climb 😻
Because just standing there, the autumn wind blows the leaves to your ears, the colorful colors accompanied by the sun shine into your heart, and the endless Nenjiang Plain...
On the way down the mountain, my heart is full of the belief that I must live a good life, because only in this way can I continue to walk and feel the beauty of all things.
So, nature may not need us, but we need nature too much 🥰
Angangxi.
From Qiqihar city to the location of Yizhong, you can take a bus or a train, but there are fewer trains. After arriving in Fularji, there are also fewer return buses, so we decided to take a taxi directly to Angangxi Station. Unexpectedly, I met the North Man Steel Factory Expert Building Block on the road, which is quite distinctive. The block building was built in 1957 and is located in the Jiangwei District along the river in Fularji District. The block building area is 4,170 square meters, with a total of 14 buildings, two floors, and the original residence of the Soviet experts who aided China. The building complex adopts the Soviet architectural style, which is elegant and generous, and is different from the style of the workers' residences built in the first five years. It is a product of the development of industrial construction in the first five years, witnessing the history of Sino-Soviet friendship and cooperation at that time, and at the same time, it is a well-preserved and not many foreign experts and management layers. The villa building complex is all Soviet-designed, with prominent shapes, unified styles, and complete features.
I saw photos of Angangxi on the Internet before, and I felt that it should be similar to Hengdaohezi, but it seems to have a more vicissitudes of life.
Angangxi Station is actually the Qiqihar Station when the Middle East Railway opened to traffic in 1903. In 1906, Heilongjiang Governor Cheng Dequan asked the Qing court to build the Qiangang Light Railway. After obtaining permission, the Heilongjiang Qiangang Railway Company was established in March of the 33rd year of Guangxu (April 1907). Because the Russian-controlled Middle East Railway Company refused to enter the Middle East Railway land by the Qiangang Light Railway, after many negotiations, it was ineffective, so it had to set up Angangxi Station in Hongqiyingzi Village, 1 kilometer east of the Middle East Railway Station. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), after the Middle East Railway authorities agreed, the Qiangang Railway was extended from Hongqiyingzi Village to the Middle East Railway Qiqihar Station (Angangxi Station). So Angangxi Station is the old Qiqihar Station. It was built in the 29th year of Guangxu (1903), and it was completed and officially opened for business when the Middle East Railway was fully opened. It was Qiqihar Station at that time, and it was changed to Angangxi Station in the 13th year of the Republic of China (1924). The current platform still retains the original buildings, and there is a wooden overpass in the platform, which is one of the only wooden overpasses on the Binzhou Line.
After visiting Angangxi Station, you can also go to the popular spot, Russia Street, which is also a commercial street of Russian-style buildings, but the scale is not as good as Hengdaohezi. Chatting with a stall owner, she said that there used to be locomotive depots and churches like Hengdaohezi here, and they were all demolished in special years. So the overall scale and tourists are much less, there are fences to be repaired on the street, I hope it will not become a highly homogenized scenic spot after maintenance.
The autumn colors of Longsha Park in Qiqihar.
On the last day of the trip, we had some time to spare, so we visited this comprehensive park in Heilongjiang. We didn't expect much, but as soon as we entered from the east gate, we were greeted by the dazzling golden leaves of the trees by the lake. We, a group of friends from the south, couldn't stop taking photos by the lake. The autumn colors were too beautiful.
Autumn in Zhalong, the dreamy dance of the red-crowned crane.
🍂Autumn in Zhalong, the dreamy dance of the red-crowned crane🍂
🎈Kids, Zhalong in Qiqihar in autumn is simply a beautiful painting! 😍
🌾When the first autumn breeze blows over Zhalong Wetland, nature is like a magical painter, using golden, orange, and dark green colors to outline a colorful picture. The golden reeds sway in the wind, as if telling the story of autumn. 🌾
🦩And the protagonist of Zhalong - the red-crowned crane, is even more beautiful in this season. They walk elegantly on the wetland, their white feathers shine in the sun, and the bright red on their heads is like the most dazzling pearl in autumn. 🦩
🌈In autumn in Zhalong, the sky is particularly blue, and the clouds float in the air like cotton candy. The red-crowned cranes sometimes spread their wings and fly high, and sometimes play in the water. Their agile figures seem to be the elves of nature dancing. Their calls are crisp and pleasant, echoing in the entire wetland, intoxicating. 💖
🌅In the early morning, when the first ray of sunlight shines on Zhalong Wetland, the red-crowned cranes spread their wings to greet the morning sun, and the picture is breathtakingly beautiful. In the evening, when the sun sets in the west, the afterglow is reflected on the water, and the red-crowned cranes slowly return to their nests, putting a perfect end to the day. 🌄
📸When you come to Zhalong, be sure to bring a camera to record these beautiful moments. Whether it is the elegant posture of the red-crowned crane or the beautiful autumn scenery, they will become the most precious treasures in your memory. 💎
💕Kids, this autumn, come to Zhalong in Qiqihar and have a beautiful encounter with the red-crowned crane! Let's immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature and feel the charm of autumn. 🍁

The essence of high EQ is that you should talk to others in the way you expect others to talk to you.
"I'm not a good-tempered person, I just don't lose my temper with you."
The advantage of advanced expressions is that they can transform negative emotions into positive and positive forces, which not only praise the other party, but also do not criticize the leader, so that everyone can enter a benign environment.

Guan Di Temple in Jiezhou.
I happened to be there during the annual Guan Gong Culture Festival. It felt like the national headquarters of Guan Di Temple was holding an annual meeting for its branches. The most valuable thing along the way was the second floor of the Chunqiu Pavilion, which was newly opened this year. It required a ticket of CNY 30. There was a life-sized colored statue of Guan Gong reading Chunqiu at night, which was the only one in the country based on the portrait of Guan Gong in his 50s. In the middle of the roof was a sunken caisson with two dragons playing with a pearl. The two dragon heads were suspended by iron wires. On both sides were convex chrysanthemum-shaped caissons formed by bucket arches. If all the doors of the hall were opened, the two dragon heads and the chrysanthemum-shaped caissons would slowly rotate with the wind.
BBQ
China BBQ, or Chinese barbecue, is a delectable culinary tradition that brings out the rich flavors of marinated meats and vegetables grilled to perfection. The recipe often involves a blend of savory, sweet, and spicy elements, creating a mouthwatering experience.
To start, choose your protein. Common choices include pork, chicken, beef, lamb, and even seafood. For a classic Chinese BBQ, pork belly or skewered lamb is highly recommended. Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces or thin slices for even cooking.
Next, prepare the marinade. A typical Chinese BBQ marinade includes soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, and Chinese five-spice powder. Add minced garlic, ginger, and a touch of honey or brown sugar for sweetness. For a spicy kick, incorporate chili paste or Sichuan peppercorns. Mix all the ingredients well.
Place the meat in a large bowl or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the meat is thoroughly coated, then let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to penetrate.
While the meat marinates, prepare your vegetables. Bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms are popular choices. Cut them into chunks and toss them with a bit of oil, salt, and pepper.
When ready to cook, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated meat and vegetables onto skewers, alternating between meat and veggies for a balanced skewer. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.
Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and has a nice char. Baste with any remaining marinade during grilling for extra flavor.
Serve your Chinese BBQ skewers hot, garnished with chopped scallions or sesame seeds. Pair them with steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Enjoy the tantalizing blend of flavors that make Chinese BBQ a beloved dish.

Chinese tea is a beverage steeped in history and tradition, dating back thousands of years. It's more than just a drink; it's a cultural experience that reflects the philosophy, art, and lifestyle of China. There are several main types of Chinese tea, each with its unique characteristics and preparation methods: green tea, black tea, oolong tea, white tea, yellow tea, and pu-erh tea.
Green tea is the most popular type in China, known for its fresh, delicate flavor and numerous health benefits. It is minimally oxidized, preserving its green color and natural antioxidants. Famous varieties include Longjing (Dragon Well) and Biluochun.
Black tea, known as "hong cha" in Chinese, is fully oxidized, giving it a rich, robust flavor and dark color. Keemun and Dianhong are well-known black teas.
Oolong tea falls between green and black tea in terms of oxidation, offering a complex flavor profile that can range from floral and fruity to roasted and nutty. Tieguanyin and Da Hong Pao are among the most celebrated oolong teas.
White tea is the least processed, made from young tea leaves and buds that are simply withered and dried. It has a subtle, sweet flavor and is prized for its delicate nature. Baihao Yinzhen (Silver Needle) is a renowned white tea.
Yellow tea is rare and similar to green tea but undergoes a longer drying process, resulting in a mellower taste. Junshan Yinzhen is a famous yellow tea.
Pu-erh tea is unique in that it undergoes fermentation and aging, producing a rich, earthy flavor that improves over time. It is often compressed into cakes or bricks.
Chinese tea culture emphasizes the importance of the tea-making process, including the selection of tea leaves, water quality, and brewing techniques. Tea ceremonies are an integral part of Chinese social life, symbolizing respect, harmony, and tranquility. Whether enjoyed for its taste, health benefits, or cultural significance, Chinese tea remains a timeless treasure.
