#malaysiatrip While exploring Seremban, I stumbled upon a hidden gem, Pertubuhan Penganut Dewa San Kau Tong. This place truly felt like stepping into a serene oasis. #familytrips2024 This restaurant was special on our trip because the owners were really nice. They made homemade Pan Mee that was delicious and reminded me of my grandma's cooking. They have special Yomyam Pan Mee and Dry Pan Mee on weekdays. Also, they offer a variety of Nyonya Kuih and tasty tong shui. Everything was good, especially the Yam Cake with special sauce. The restaurant is big with lots of seats, but on weekends, it fills up fast. Address: 3437, Jalan Rasah Utama 1, Taman Rasah Jaya, 70300 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

#malaysiatrip This shopping mall holds a significant place in the hearts of Seremban locals despite its age. While it boasts several stores, like Nandos, the Manhattan Fish Market, Famous Amos, Zus Coffee, Myeong Dong Toppokki, and more, the building itself could benefit from some renovations. Parking can be a hassle, often requiring multiple rounds to find a spot. Overall, it's decent, but don't expect anything extraordinary. The mall is relatively small, and not all shops are operational. During my visit, it wasn't too crowded, I bought few dresses, and there's a cinema available for entertainment. In short, while the mall may lack the "wow" factor of newer establishments, it still manages to offer a satisfactory shopping environment. It's not overwhelmingly large, which can be a relief for those who prefer a more manageable shopping experience.

#malaysiatrip The buffet breakfast experience at Palm Seremban Hotel is a delightful start to the day. The spacious dining area boasts fancy decor, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The stir-fry chicken and kway teow dishes stand out for their delicious flavors and quality. Moreover, the staff's friendliness adds an extra touch of warmth to the dining experience, making it truly memorable.

Turning a corner, I suddenly caught the sound of an unfamiliar instrument in the distance. The melody rose and fell, carrying a slight metallic vibrato, and I followed the sound. I wasn't in a hurry to find its source; I just let those unfamiliar frequencies vibrate my eardrums in the air. This unexpected auditory experience was far more moving than any carefully choreographed performance. Only by stepping out did I realize that the vastness of the world lies in its countless ways of expression. Some sounds require no translation, nor do they demand any knowledge of music theory. As long as you listen with your heart, you can feel the emotions they carry. Untying the knots of life means letting your senses become sharp once again—no longer just listening to music recommended by algorithms, but tuning in to the sounds of the wind, the water, and strangers. Every step feels like treading on a giant phonograph, pressing out different notes. Strung together, these notes become my one-of-a-kind soundtrack in this city, transforming an otherwise monotonous journey into a private symphony.

Its biggest highlight is the iconic Minangkabau-style architecture. Negeri Sembilan State Museum (Muzium Negeri Sembilan) The museum is best known for its signature Minangkabau-style architecture, rich historical and ethnographic exhibits, as well as traditional wooden stilt houses. The entire museum is constructed in the traditional Minangkabau style, featuring a highly recognizable roof with an iconic, dramatically curved buffalo horn design. Inside, it houses royal garments and everyday items, along with tools and artifacts from the Portuguese and British colonial eras. The absolute must-do is visiting the traditional stilt houses located just outside the main museum area. You can step right inside to get a firsthand feel of the unique local folk culture and architecture. After your visit, you can head over to the adjacent Seremban Gateway for a bite to eat and some rest. The mall offers a wide variety of dining options with all kinds of restaurants available.

⭐ Bros Cafe If you’re looking for a cosy brunch spot with great coffee, Bros Cafe is definitely worth a visit. It’s the perfect place to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a relaxing morning with a good cup of coffee. Here are some of my highlights: ☕ Coffee/matcha A great place to get your coffee fix. The ‘Bros Cold Latte’ is highly recommended - smooth and well-balanced. They even have matcha 🍵 “EARTH” under their specialty menu , which I’ve also tried before and it was gooooood (not too sweet, neither was it bitter) 🍗 Korean Chicken Cutlet A must-try! The chicken was juicy and tender with a light, crispy batter that wasn’t greasy. It was well-seasoned and packed with flavour without being overly heavy. 🥐 Pastries They also have a tempting selection of freshly baked pastries on display. I didn’t get a chance to try them this time, but they looked absolutely delicious and are definitely on my list for my next visit. 🌿 Ambience I visited around 11:30am on a Saturday, and the café was surprisingly peaceful and not too crowded. The calm atmosphere makes it a great place to relax or get some work done. 😊 Service The owner is Korean and speaks English, Chinese, and Malay, making communication easy for both locals and tourists. They were warm and welcoming. #travel2026 #malaysia #malaysiaeats

⭐ Alfresco cafe and bistro This cafe is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood of Seremban. With its warm, romantic ambience, soft background music, and delicious Western cuisine, it’s a place that shouldn’t be missed if you’re in the area—especially if you’re looking for the perfect spot to bring your date. 😉 Here are the dishes I tried: 🥣French onion soup (soup of the day) 8/10 A comforting bowl of rich and savoury broth. However it was missing the melted cheese on top. Simple, hearty, and a great way to start the meal. 🍝Homemade Marinara pasta with chicken meatballs 7/10 The marinara sauce had a pleasant tangy tomato flavour, while the homemade chicken meatballs were tender and juicy. A comforting dish, though I personally would have preferred the sauce to be a little richer and more robust. 🥩Pork chop with blue cheese sauce 9/10 The highlight of the meal! The pork chop was juicy, tender, and cooked beautifully. The creamy blue cheese sauce added a bold, savoury flavour that paired surprisingly well with the meat without being overpowering. I also love blue cheese so plus points for it! Overall Rating 🍽️ Food: 8/10 🌿 Ambience: 10/10 💰 Price: 8/10 (slightly on the pricier side) 🙋 Service: 9/10 (friendly staff, though the waiting time was a little longer than expected) If you’re after a cosy, romantic dining experience away from the crowds, I’d definitely recommend adding Alfresco Cafe & Bistro to your Seremban itinerary! #cafe #travel2026 #malaysia #seremban

Quick Rasah hotel hack: If you want your stay to be convenient and wallet-friendly, Sun Inn Seremban (Formerly Lotus Hotel Seremban) should totally be on your radar! 🏨✨ Best part? It’s steps away from Palm Mall for shopping sprees, a handy 7-Eleven for instant snacks, and even a hospital next door for peace of mind. My stay here was practical—smooth check-in, comfy room, and a bathroom that’s nicer than you’d expect at this price point. Loved having a big desk for remote work (or video calls!), solid air-conditioning, and Netflix on the TV for late-night chillouts. The location at Plot No.1, Near KPJ, Jalan Toman, Kemayan Square makes it incredibly easy to get anywhere; you can walk to most essentials! TOP TIPS: · Bring your own toiletries just in case—they’re not always stocked. · If you’re picky about cleanliness, check the room first, especially the bathroom and bedding, before fully unpacking. · For late-night hunger pangs, the 7-Eleven is a literal three-minute stroll away. · For a full meal, there are loads of eateries at Palm Mall only 5 minutes on foot—try the local nasi lemak stalls! Getting Around: Grab rideshares are cheap and fast here, but walking covers most conveniences nearby. Weather is classic Malaysia—keep a light rain jacket handy! No visas required for most ASEAN travelers, but always double-check your country’s rules. Value rating: 8/10 for a short stay or work trip in Rasah! #RasahStay #BudgetHotels #MalaysiaTravel #PalmMall #TravelSmart

The receptionists are very kind, helpful and friendly. overall i would come here again, it's near to the mall, mamak, 7e and the hospital. a few minutes away from the KTM station which roughly cost around rm9.
