We usually stay at another airport hotel, but since they no longer guarantee a free shuttle bus, we decided to try this one despite it being slightly pricier. Upon arrival, we had a warm welcome from Lady Jane and were given a lovely room overlooking the airport—watching the planes was so much fun. We opted for an upgrade from a runway room to an Executive Room with Lounge Access and a Runway View. The lounge was delightful, though I couldn't eat much of the food as it was mostly spicy; however, my husband enjoyed it. There were some cheese options for me, but we missed trying the desserts, which started coming out around 8-8:30 PM, as we had an early flight to catch. I provided feedback saying our stay was brilliant but mentioned the lounge food could cater to more tastes. The hotel followed up with emails, ensuring improvements would be made for future stays so I’d have suitable options. The staff were amazing, the rooms were immaculate and comfortable with nice bathrooms, and the overall experience was so enjoyable that we’re now planning to stay here every time we travel from this airport. The journey to Terminal 2 was effortless, especially as we both use mobility scooters, with everything covered and accessible via the skywalk. In fact, we’re even considering coming back for a short getaway just to relax and watch the planes!

Checking in at reception was extremely efficient and quick. We chose to have drinks and food at the bar rather than the restaurant and were met with exceptional service from the highly professional staff. They served us directly at the table, so there was no need to queue at the bar. We ordered pizza and a side of fries, both of which were absolutely delicious. While not the cheapest option, it’s understandable for an airport hotel. Our room offered a view of the canopy, giving us a nice view of planes arriving and departing. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and lovely. We’ll definitely return for our next trip 😊

Stayed one night on May 31st prior to a Monday morning flight. Located right next to the airport where we had booked the multi-storey parking—just 3 minutes away. Check-in was smooth. Our room on the 4th floor overlooked the bar/restaurant. It was a lovely, modern room with a gorgeous, big bed dressed with beautiful white linens. The only issue was the pillows, which were a bit too hard for me. Aside from that, everything was excellent. The shower was great, with gel provided, plenty of soft towels, and a coffee machine with pods, kettle, tea bags—everything you need for a night’s stay. We booked a table in the restaurant, just for a pizza. The service was lovely, very fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Honestly, I don’t understand how anyone could leave a bad review of this hotel. We hope to stay here again in September before our next holiday. A friend recommended this place, and they were absolutely right!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Tribe Hotel. The location was convenient, situated just 10 to 15 minutes by train or tram from the city center, despite not being directly in it. The hotel room was very nice, though the dark decor may be an acquired taste. I thought the bathroom and walk-in shower were excellent. The twin bed setup was unusual, resembling a double bed with two singles side by side. I was surprised there was no mini-bar or fridge, but the Nespresso machine with provided pods was a pleasant touch. There were plenty of USB sockets available, though none were located at the bedside. There didn’t seem to be any wardrobe space, giving the impression that the hotel might be better suited for shorter airport-related stays. The included buffet breakfast was excellent. All stations were consistently replenished, and there was an ample supply of juices, teas, and coffees. Seating was plentiful as well. Check-in was straightforward, and we had no issues obtaining multiple keys for our room. The key card access system for the lifts was a great security feature. The only thing that stopped Tribe from earning a five-star rating was the staff. They were efficient and competent but lacked friendliness or warmth. I don’t recall seeing a smile during my stay, which might have been situational. I will definitely visit Tribe again in the future and hope to give them full marks next time!

My friend and I stayed for one night in April, and breakfast wasn't included in our rate. Pros: · The hotel offers a free 24/7 shuttle bus, which was very convenient. · The staff were helpful, especially Andrew, the shuttle bus driver, who went above and beyond and is a real asset to the team. · Check-in was quick and efficient. We requested a quiet room and were accommodated accordingly. · We stayed in Room 155, which had twin double beds, a small open hanging area, a desk with drawers and a chair, an upholstered chair, a kettle with tea and coffee, and two 600ml bottles of water. The en-suite bathroom included a shower-bath, basin, and toilet. The room had a view of the rear of the Front Desk and entrance. · Free newspapers were available at the Front Desk, and there was also a convenient self-checkout option. Cons: · The bathroom basin in the room needed replacing. · The TV in the room was outdated, though the remote functioned well, and the picture quality was acceptable.

We usually stay here the night before flying out of Manchester Airport. The main perk of this hotel is its direct connection to the terminals, eliminating the need for shuttles—we simply walk over. Restaurant prices are steep, so we now head to the terminal to enjoy some tasty options from M&S. The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. My only complaint this time was the poorly handled exposed wiring from a replaced TV in our room—not acceptable for a hotel in this price range.

Cereal, yogurt, and juice should be available as standard, but again, it seems like they’re encouraging guests to upgrade to the main breakfast. On a positive note, we stayed in a suite, which was very impressive overall!

Liam, our server, was friendly, relaxed, and professional throughout the evening. Didn't really focus on drink prices—it’s just part of the experience. The food menu was simple but got the job done. As a group of four adults and one child, everything we ordered arrived together, nicely presented, and satisfying. No one had to wait for their plate.
