#summerdestinations Tinipak River is truly a magnificent hidden gem. Up and coming tourist destination in the province of Rizal, this river is located in Tanay—a town east of Manila. We drove to the jump off point, got on a raft to take a tricycle to the community center for registration and a little bit of orientation before another short ride where we began our hike to the best spots of the river. By the time we came back to the meeting spot, we have been so scorched that a dip in the warm water was so rewarding. The whole experience took about four hours.

The wooden image of the Blessed Virgin was last seen on the top of a tree called Tipolo. The cathedral offers a great experience during its hourly masses.
