Bangong Lake: The legend of a sacred land.
My dear friends 🥰! Today, I must tell you about Bangong Lake. It is located about 12 km northwest of Rutog County in the Ngari Prefecture, with an area of 667 square kilometers and an altitude of 4,241 meters. It is a border lake between China and India. There is something amazing about this lake: two-thirds of it is in China and is freshwater, while the other third is in India and is saltwater. 😎
Why is this? It turns out that the upper reaches of Bangong Lake are in China, and two glaciers supply it with water. The lower reaches have less water supply, and with little precipitation and high evaporation, the lake water in India becomes saltier and saltier.
Bangong Lake has great military strategic significance, as it is only 600 km from New Delhi, the capital of India, and it is also the only way from Xinjiang to Tibet. India often stirs up trouble and creates conflicts at the border, but our border guards are amazing and drive them away every time, protecting our peace. Standing by the beautiful Bangong Lake and thinking about all this, I really admire the border guards. They are the most lovable people! 👏
Walking along the lake from the east to the northwest, the scenery is amazing! The color of the lake water is like a dreamlike painting, changing as you walk, sometimes blue, sometimes dark blue, and sometimes green or turquoise. The Chinese side of Bangong Lake is lush with vegetation, with large areas of wetlands, birds as numerous as if they were holding a conference, and schools of fish that can be seen swimming in the water with the naked eye. In contrast, the lower reaches are barren and desolate. 💕

🍃[A Beautiful Encounter on a Road Trip to Ali]🍃
😘Hey, friends! Did you know? On November 11, the second "Travel Ali" road trip 🚗 conference officially started! With a love for road trips and a longing for the beautiful scenery of Ali, I embarked on this journey✨
🚗Everywhere you go on a road trip in Ali is a beautiful sight. But when I arrived at Bangong Lake, I was still deeply shocked by the beauty in front of me❗️
The lake is clear and transparent, as if it can wash away all the dust in the world; the lake is as calm as a mirror, reflecting the blue and white of the sky🌌, so beautiful that it makes people intoxicated.
In between road trips, I also made a special trip to the cashmere auction center.
There are not only high-quality cashmere products, but also the unique charm of Ali's traditional culture. Every piece of cashmere is like a gift from nature, warm and delicate.
Ali, this magical land, provides endless joy and freedom for road trippers. Here, you can not only feel the fun of driving, but also find a piece of your own peaceful world by Bangong Lake. Here, it is not only a paradise for road trippers, but also a dream for everyone who loves nature and yearns for spiritual freedom.

You can feed seagulls without going to Qinghai Lake: just at Bangong Co in Tibet
It really is that the higher the altitude, the more beautiful the scenery, and the closer to the sky, the more mysterious the place.
Upon arriving at Bangong Co, one discovers that there are also traces of seagulls on the high-altitude lakes over five thousand meters.
Migratory birds from Siberia will travel to Bangong Co, and then continue to migrate south to Qinghai Lake during the colder winter.
There are very few tourists here, allowing for the unobstructed photography of flying birds, and one can feed the seagulls with breadcrumbs.
Bangong Co spans across China and India, and in Tibetan means 'long-necked swan', located northwest of the town of Rutog in the Ali region. The lake surface is at an altitude of 4240 meters.
There are more than a dozen islands of varying sizes in the lake, with about 20 different species of birds on the islands, the number of which can reach tens of thousands at its peak, mainly including bar-headed geese, brown-headed gulls, fish gulls, crested ducks, and red-crested pochards, among which bar-headed geese and brown-headed gulls are the most numerous.

📍Pangong Tso
Located at 4218m above sea level, this lake is the filming location of the most famous Indian movie, Seolgan.
It is where the main character of the movie, Rancho, spent the last time with his children.
The blue lake and mountain range are beautiful, and you can see countless stars at night.
Be careful because you may get altitude sickness in this highland area!
K2G219 Day 4.
"Zero Road Zero Kilometer, Kunlun First City" G219 Xinjiang-Ali-Lhasa.
Today's itinerary is more than 560 kilometers. After four 5,000-meter-long board, it travels all the way to the snowy plateau of 4000-5000 meters, and passes through 4 border checkpoints along the way, finally at night.
In fact, from Doma all the way, there is a long and long way to see the beauty of Bangong Lake. The blue lake is near, and the snow peaks are faintly visible in the distance. In fact, you should not be greedy for the scenery before sunset. Because the tunnel passed the observation deck of Bangong Lake, the front is the most beautiful wetland, the green and yellow water plants, the snow peaks of the mountains...
Unfortunately, the sky is already black. The beauty here is because the light is dark and I dont dare to stop it, so the most beautiful scenery is not only on the road! Because the road shooting has been delayed for a long time, the time on the speed limit list has already passed, this road is really running out of joy...
The missed checkpoint of the Japanese soil is in the Here, from the Bangong Lake, I actually saw the checkpoint of the Japanese soil, but we did not see someone on duty, and then it was very doubtful to open it. How did we still check the discussion? This is more assured that the speed limit bar is gone, what are you worried about? In fact, the best way to prevent sleep is to drive the car. The attention of the car is highly concentrated. Therefore, in the case where the road section is flat and can be safe, there are some roads in the road for occasional 170 or so... [must pay attention to safety]
Yes, the lake above is Bangong Lake, also known as the wrong wooden Angola red wave. The Tibetan language means long-necked swan. There is the world's tallest bird island in Shanghai, located at the junction of Ali and Kashmir. Bangong Lake is large and particularly large. The eastern and western sections of the lake are in China and the west end is in Kashmir. It is an international lake. The magic is that the lake in Bangong Lake is fresh water in China, but it is salt water in Kashmir.
Actually, there is a long and long way from Dorma. You can see the beautiful scenery of Bangong Lake. The blue lake is near, and the snow peaks are faintly visible in the distance. In fact, it should not be at sunset. Formerly eager for a moment of scenery, because the tunnel passed the observation deck of Bangong Lake, the front is the most beautiful wetland, the green and yellow water plants, the snow-capped peaks of the mountains...
Although Ali has a bad natural environment, it is a place where wild animals are free to grow. Alis class is surrounded by birds. He used to sit on the lake and watch the black-necked cranes vacate. They hovered over my head, and the wind from the wings slid over my face. What is the life knows, the world is a sand gull.
