The Thai Dragon Temple that I've been wanting to visit for years, I finally saw it this time ✌️
Ever since I saw this Dragon Temple on Instagram a few years ago, it has been constantly on my mind. I've been to Bangkok several times but always missed it. This time, with the visa-free city walk in Thailand, my wish finally came true!
📍Wat Sam Phran, also known as the Thai Dragon Temple, is located in Sam Phran District, on the western outskirts of Bangkok. Address: 92 Sam Phran, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom.
🚗Transportation: Grab. We took a taxi from Khao San Road and it cost about 500 Thai baht, taking about 40 minutes.
👔Dress code: Try not to dress too revealingly. Shoes need to be removed before entering the temple.
💰Entrance fee: There is no entrance fee, but at the wish-making area, you will be asked to make a donation and write your wish. There are also several other donation points inside, so it's recommended to have some change with you. Apart from the wish-making area and the donation at the top, I didn't donate anywhere else (because I didn't have any change left 😂).
🌟The Dragon Temple is actually a nunnery with pink walls and a dragon winding its way up. It looks very unique and spectacular from afar. You can climb up along the dragon's body (a total of 11 floors) to reach the roof for prayers. Surprisingly, there are also many giant statues guarding the temple.
🌟Tips:
1. Shoes need to be removed before entering. The interior of the dragon's body is quite simple, with bare concrete floors and fans for ventilation on each floor. It's not too stuffy walking up. Once you reach the roof, you can also make a donation to receive gold foil to stick on the Buddha statue.
2. Remember to have some change with you. We didn't have any and ended up donating a lot 😂.
3. There are many giant statues next to the Dragon Temple. You can take photos with them if you like.
4. Apart from the giant architecture, there are also giant lizards. One suddenly appeared behind me when I was taking photos, which scared me a bit.
5. It's quite difficult to get a taxi back. We waited for 30 minutes before we could get one. Remember to allow enough time for your return journey.

After The Rain Cage - An Instaworthy Cafe
#bangkoktrip #thailand #cafe #foodie #foodhunt #tripblazers #picturesqueview #bangkok
One cafe that you definitely have to visit is called after the rain cafe and gallery located at 45 Song Khanong, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom 73210, Thailand, opens daily except Mondays.
This is one of the many unique cafe, a instaworthy one for sure where you will be able to dine infront of the waterways while enjoying the lush greenery and see fishes swimming below you. One most interesting thing about this cafe, if you soend more then 250baht per person, you are able to take the boat ride and row yourself around the waterways, tiring but fun!
Food here was also surpsingly good but of course the prices here are abit more expensive. But hey, it's the experience and the uniqueness of this cafe.

The Dragon Buddhist Temple
#bangkoktrip #thailand #bangkok #temple #watsamphran #cultural
Wat Sam Phran is a Buddhist Temple that has its uniqueness from the other temples in Bangkok. This temple has a dragon wrapped around the entire building and you have to walk up the temple via the inside of the dragon. It's a long walk almost up to 10-12 story high, and you are also required to take off your shoes.
Entrance is free and you are also able to make donations or purchase offerings and head to the top of the temple. If not, you are able to walk up to catch a glimpse of the amazing view of the shrroind of wat Sam phran.
The surrounding area of the temple has also soke unique sculptures like a wooden ship out fallen out of yhe sky and landed right next to wat Sam phran, and a huge turtle like sculpture as well.
An interesting temple close to Bangkok and it's worth it to drop by for a visit.

I get to row the boat 🤩
If you are going Bangkok soon, you MUST definitely visit After the Rain Coffee & Gallery! You should heard of Bubble in the forest, and if you are going there you should make a visit to after the rain too as it’s quite near! So don’t waste the travelling time and visit 2 cafes 🤩
I actually rented a driver for a day to bring us from our hotel -> Bubble in the forest -> After the rain -> Union Mall -> Jeh O -> Jodd Fairs -> hotel as it’s more convenient since the cafes are a bit far out and we scared we can’t get a grab back.
Food: The food was not bad! 🤭 We ordered Peach Soda, Pink Lemonade, Mango Sticky Rice & Pork Neck butterfly pea rice to share since we already ate at BITF 🫶🏻
There were 2 main big boats for you to take pictures and you get to row the boat around that area or you can also row the smaller boat to go one big round around the place🤣 it was quite tiring to already row the boat to take the picture area but the photos were so worth it! There was also a swing! Really love this place omg, you should definitely visit especially if you are also visiting BITF already! Price $: 450 Baht (~$18) for everything

In addition to crocodile performances and elephant performances in the park, there are also time periods. There will be a magic show before the elephant show begins. The first few magics are still very obvious. The latter few magic tricks are quite skillful. The overall viewing is still quite strong. Two people have performed magic for a long time, and it is very hard to finish the use of the props on the stage. The
elephant performance is divided into several different scenes for performances, royal family, football players, ancient struggles, etc. The personal most interesting thing is the last chapter, the restoration of ancient wars, Thai live performances, fighting The between is also very interesting, the actual scene restoration is also very realistic, the thatched cottage on the high platform actually burned directly with the fire, really admire the Thai people's 'straight brains'.
At the end of the performance, there will be a sugar cane banana next to it, 20 baht, which can be used to feed the elephant, and can also take photos with the elephant. Of course, the photo is a tip.

Wat Samphran Dragon Tower Temple
When in #bangkok don’t forget to stop at #watsamphran #DragonTowerTemple it’s so beautiful and peaceful. Meet the locals and monks and don’t forget to donate to help keep the temple open to the public. It’s free to enter but donations are requested. It’s handicap friendly and gives panoramic views of the city. Get your red ribbon to add your prayer to the pole at the top. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Hidden Spot Cafe Branch 2 (Rai Khing)
Another new cafe to share with you in Nakhon Pathom! This place is absolutely adorable, with a great vibe, warm and homely 💖
This is Jutsonrayn.Cafe: Hidden Spot Cafe. This is the second branch, located near Wat Rai Khing in Nakhon Pathom. It's a brand new cafe, but it's so cute that it's irresistible. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a cozy, vintage homey feel 🏡. I love it so much!
It's not just the cute decor; the drinks and cakes are delicious too. The Thai tea here is amazing. I ordered it with 50% less sugar, and it was perfect. Pair it with the coconut pandan cake, and it's divine 🍰😋.

Annual Festival at Wat Rai Khing
Hello! Today, I visited the annual festival at Wat Rai Khing, a signature event for the people of Nakhon Pathom! This festival is held from October 4th to 12th every year and has the same vibe as the Ong Phra Nakhon Pathom festival. 😍 It's packed with food, shopping, and offerings for making merit. You'll leave with a full stomach and a full heart. 🥰
If you're in the Nakhon Pathom area, don't miss out! The atmosphere is lively and fun. If you love traditional Thai folk music, come join the fun. 😂 There are also many special performances by students that are simply adorable. 🌼✨

"Thai" Fun | Having afternoon tea by the blue water is so chill.
| Having afternoon tea by the blue water is so chill. 🤩 Bubble in the Forest in Nakhon Pathom, floating coffee. The atmosphere and environment are comparable to the Maldives, really not exaggerated! The time spent with friends eating food and taking photos here is so relaxing~🥰
🌴 The blue water, with floating wooden houses, water walkways, high-altitude viewing seats, lush green environment and unbeatable frangipani... A casual shot is a blockbuster, the key is that there are no mosquitoes, and the girlfriends are here, enjoying a relaxing and comfortable afternoon tea time, chill~
📸 Photo check-in tips: It is recommended to go early, with fewer people and cool; the second-floor terrace can take a panoramic view; the terrace has a net hammock for check-in; each water house has a swing for taking pictures; the wooden walkway is crowded and cannot be avoided, and the later stage can be applied; it is recommended to wear brightly colored clothes
🍹 Food: The drinks are good, quite distinctive, except for coconut water, they are all good-looking; the food has Thai characteristics, if you pursue cost-effectiveness, it is recommended to order a set meal directly
🚗 Transportation: It is a one and a half hour drive from here to Bangkok. It is recommended to play with the surrounding attractions.
⏰ Business hours: 10:00-21:00, most of the time you need to make an appointment in advance, 300 baht per person, which can be directly deducted from consumption. Go on time, otherwise the appointment will be cancelled because it is too popular

A beautiful temple that is considered a landmark of Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province, with unique architecture, combining Thai and Chinese arts. The 80 meter high dragon shaped hut is like the Buddhist nirvana. in addition, the temple enshrines the golden image of Luang Pho Phutthopawana, with a golden image in the blessing posture for worship, as well as the white elephant king and the giant turtle king. The atmosphere is shady, peaceful, and beautiful.

The secret of Maldivian cafe in the suburbs of Bangkok Bubble in the forest
Located in the outskirts of Bangkok, there are many packages for the beautiful view cafe on the Internet, but you can actually make a reservation directly and go there by yourself. You can make a reservation through the official LINE or fan group, and then remit the deposit to the store. There are also operators online to assist with reservations, and there may be a charge. NT$100-200.
The entire park is full of exotic Nanyang style, and the entire lake is very comfortable. There are also special meals that the service staff will bring to you from the lake, and they are paired with swings. The whole thing is very chill.
If there is an area with an eaves, the private room must be booked in advance. There is no discount. There are also some travel agency groups that are specially designed to take photos. There is no time limit and you can really take hundreds of photos before leaving.
The food part is very affordable, with fried food, desserts and drinks, and special dishes to choose from, but the food is not memorable.
Some of the private rooms in the environmental section are equipped with electric fans, which are very thoughtful and suitable for spending half a day playing.

My visit to 'After the Rain Coffee & Gallery' was a unique experience that combined art and nature. This café is characterized by a calm and relaxing atmosphere amidst green spaces, making it an ideal place to enjoy some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The interior design of the café is filled with stunning artworks, allowing you to admire the exhibited pieces while sipping on a cup of coffee. The coffee was delicious, and there was a variety of drinks and light meals available. You could enjoy sitting outside surrounded by plants and flowers, which gave a sense of peace.
