Never Boring Balboa Park
There is always something to do at Balboa Park. The museums are surrounded by beautiful walkways to enjoy on a nice sunny day. Interests range from airplanes and space to Comicon or Natural History at the museums. Ducks, fish and turtles can be seen in the pond on the way to the Botanical Garden. A visit to the colorful Artist Village lets you see artists in action and buy their unique wares. The San Diego Zoo is at the back of the park with a huge collection of animals, including polar bears. La Jolla Cove Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
La Jolla Cove - San Diego, USA
#passionpassport
La Jolla Cove is a small coastal inlet surrounded by picturesque sandstone bluffs that shelter the popular La Jolla Cove Beach. Gulls, cormorants, sea lions, and native plants line these bluffs above the Pacific Ocean, making this one of the most pretty and photographed areas in Southern California. La Jolla Cove is also one of the most popular San Diego tourist spots and is located in the heart of downtown La Jolla or what we locals call the Village of La Jolla. This means it’s an easy stop for anyone staying in La Jolla hotels or visiting our seaside community on a day trip. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations

I instantly fell in love the moment I first saw San Diego! It was and is as close to perfect as you can get as far as weather, people and all year round activities. Make sure to visit La Jolla Cove if you want a view of the ocean with sea lions. #merrychristmas #sandiego
#merrychristmas
When you come to La Jolla Cove, in addition to the beautiful coastal scenery, the natural look is the lazy wild sea lion seals. When the weather is good, they will lie leisurely on the beach, the reef and other places. Rarely moving, occasionally called a few times. Sea lion seals, although cute, still have to keep a safe distance from them, on the one hand to avoid disturbing them, and on the other hand to protect themselves. When you are navigating, you are advised to choose Coast Blvd on La Jolla Cove Hotel & Suites for free limited time (say 20 minutes) parking.

LEGOLAND California Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Legoland California Theme Park
The Legoland California theme park is located just north of San Diego in the city of Carlsbad. This large resort has two separate theme parks (the main ride park and a water park).
We stayed in the Castle Hotel that comes with themed rooms located adjacent to the main theme park entrance. There will be a safe box locked which there will be a Lego present inside. If you have booked a stay at Castle Hotel, it will be good to opt for breakfast so that you can go to the park right after that. The breakfast is buffet style, do go early to avoid crowds.
Definitely a must visit place if you are travelling with family! #legoland
Perfect place for the kids!
One of the most popular things to do in San Diego with kids between the ages of 2–12 is to visit LEGOLAND California Resort. Here, you’ll find more than 60 kid-friendly rides and attractions in the theme park, SEA LIFE Aquarium, a seasonal water park, and two hotels.
Most people head straight to the theme park where the various LEGO themes include Land of Adventure, Ninjago® World, Fun Town, Pirate Shores, and Castle Hill. Miniland, USA’s intricate and stunning replicas of America’s favorite cities including, New York City and San Francisco, are a highlight. Don’t forget to bring Minifigures to trade with staff (otherwise you can buy a few at Minifigure Market near the entrance).

How can I miss the California Legoland
driving from San Diego with a baby to the West Coast of the United States? The Lego theme park for kids is the first choice for California family fun, with Disney and Universal Studios in Los Angeles. The three-legged play makes the children enjoy the fun. Legoland has more than 50 rides, programs and attractions, and the park design is very reasonable. You can play all the projects without going back, and all the facilities are creative enough for the children to use their brains. Entertaining and entertaining, the sense of participation is very strong, and the family has returned to the childlike to spend a wonderful time here.
Continue to the happy world of Legoland~
There are many American landmarks built by Lego blocks, whether it is the magnificent White House and Golden Gate Bridge, the charming Lombard Street and the Harbour Pier, or the CBD and Venice hotels in Manhattan. Its a scene~

USS Midway Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
If you are a military enthusiast, you must not miss the USS Midway Museum
The USS Midway Museum is a favorite place for military enthusiasts and one of the must-visit attractions in San Diego. This museum is famous for its highly engaging exhibits, providing visitors with an unforgettable experience. The USS Midway is the longest-serving aircraft carrier in the US Navy in the 20th century. Now, it is moored next to the Navy Pier in downtown San Diego, open to tourists as a military museum. Once you board the aircraft carrier, you can get a free audio guide at the entrance, which includes a Chinese language option. When you arrive at a place with commentary, just aim at the icon and press the button to hear detailed explanations, which is very convenient. The deck of the aircraft carrier is full of various types of aircraft, and there are many viewing points inside, including areas where sailors worked, rested, received medical treatment, leisure, and dining. From the cabin to the deck, and then to the command tower, walking up and down according to the signs is like entering a maze. Adjacent to the USS Midway is the famous 'Unconditional Surrender' sculpture, which is seen as one of the symbols of the end of World War II. You can go there together and leave a commemorative photo.

🇺🇸 USS Midway Museum-Historical walk
#wheretogo
The USS Midway Museum is an absolute must-visit when you're in San Diego. We really enjoyed our walking tour. We spend quite a bit of time here to tour everything. Walking aboard this historic aircraft carrier was an incredible journey through American military history. The exhibits are well-maintained, informative, and provide a fascinating insight into the life of sailors and pilots. The star of the show is definitely the vast array of aircraft on display, including fighter jets and helicopters. The volunteers and staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the ship's history. We had the chance to go up to the flight deck and listen to both the "CAT" and "TRAP" talks. Now we are so ready to watch Top Gun again and really appreciate what we are seeing. Highly recommended to get a fun and educational experience in USS Midway Museum

Spectacular sunset with Hotel del Coronado as a backdrop.
Iconic Charm at Hotel del Coronado: Where Hollywood Meets San Diego's Seashore 🎬🏖️
Did you know that the iconic Hotel del Coronado starred alongside Marilyn Monroe in "Some Like It Hot"? While the indoor scenes were recreated, the hotel's timeless beauty graced the film's exterior shots. Celebrities from Edison to Madonna have adorned its historic rooms, a testament to its allure. As I step into this cinematic landmark, I'm inspired by Marilyn's essence, captured in my @electricandrose ensemble. Exploring the echoes of Hollywood's golden age against San Diego's stunning backdrop is an experience to treasure. 🎬🏖️
Colorado Island
Coronado Island in San Diego is no less impressive than any popular vacation island. People often take for granted the things around them, so over time they may overlook the beauty around them. But as a local in San Diego, even if you have seen the scenery of Coronado Island countless times, you will still be amazed and addicted to it.
In Spanish, Coronado means "crowned one", so the island is also known as "The Crown City". Its fame comes from the Hotel del Coronado, which opened in 1888. The entire Coronado Beach is a perfect place to spend time, and it was rated as the most beautiful beach in the United States by Mr. Beach. Cycling, watching the sunset, playing in the water, sailing, and beach volleyball are all good choices here. The Coronado Bridge tightly connects San Diego and Coronado Island. The bridge is arched, and there is a 80-degree turn as the bridge rises, allowing you to enjoy the view of the bay area as if you were hovering over the sea, adjacent to the blue sky and sea.
The biggest treasure on the island is the historic Hotel del Coronado, the first five-star hotel in the United States and the largest all-wooden hotel in the world. Since its opening in 1887, it has attracted countless wealthy and famous people. The hotel has also been used as a backdrop for many famous movies. The Hotel del Coronado was built in 1888 and still retains its 19th-century style interior decoration. It has always been a popular destination for dignitaries, celebrities, and couples. As of 2012, 16 presidents, including Obama, have visited here, and Nixon and Reagan held state banquets and summit meetings here to receive the Mexican president.
