MALL PLAZA LOS DOMINICOS
The mall itself is really nice, in a good location, and decently maintained. It has a good variety of stores, and the walking areas are really nice and large, giving the mall a nice sense of space.
The issues, although small, were noticeable. For example, the seating, which are large grey plastic pieces, have a thick layer of dust above them. There were also occasional little metal screws and whatnot sticking out of the floor, which definitely isn’t something that should ever happen.
The bathrooms are nice, modern, and also well maintained. I did notice one major design flaw, which was the high powered air blowers (which are really great themselves) are right above a garbage can, so whenever you use them it causes garbage to come flying out. 😀

LA FABRICA PATIO OUTLET
An outlet center within the city. Although no high-end/top brands, has a good variety of stores and brands (CAT, Arrow, Columbia, Brooks Brothers). Has plenty of parking lots and some restaurants. You can arrive by subway L5 and then take a taxi. Not crowded. Great place for shopping, very organize and with really good offers. The distribution is very similar to small towns in the US. ☺️

MALL ARAUCO MAIPU
I am exceedingly fond of this Mall for being there for me every time I land in Chile. Plenty of nice shops that I find to be presented in an eye pleasing manner.
The restaurants look nice (grill, etc.) but I never got around to trying any. An enthusiastic food court with a general flavor of burgers and hot dogs is at your disposal. Plastic bags and straws seem to have been banned. They were not handed out anymore and I approve.
My personal favorite store is the PC Factory where you can get prepaid SIM cards for your mobile connectivity needs. 2nd floor, close to the main entrance. Ask for "SIM Chip con bolsa prepago". That think costs just under CLP 3.000 and needs to be activated for your mobile by the provider(!).
If you're a native / have a personal RUT number, you can do that yourself. If you have no idea what that is. Go to a carrier shop. I always go with movistar because the shop is just out front and the people there were helpful on all occasions. Yup, I went there more than once on my first odyssey. ;)
Nice shops, good service. Enough space and plenty of parking - at least during the week. Good stuff!
Oh and they have security as well as bank branches and cash withdrawal machines that work fine with my debit card.
