If you come to Schwerin castle, you need to take a photo of this point which is behind the castle. Its a garden which is built deep in the underground which also has a restaurant for outdoor activities, there’s sculptures and beautiful tulip garden here and inside is a museum which need the entrance fee to get inside there. #familytrips2024 I had always wanted to visit an European Castle 🏰 and paid for the entrance for Schwerin Castle. I was informed that I could enter the limited time only "Treasures in Dialogue" exhibition at the Schwerin Castle Museum too. The exhibition "Treasures in Dialogue" showcases an exquisite selection of Netherlandish paintings (16th to 18th centuries) and European decorative arts. There were only a couple of people in the whole museum, so I could slowly take my time to relax and admire the masterpieces. 😊👍 #europetrip #germany

#familytrips2024 Address: Schusterstraße 8, 19055 Schwerin, Germany A lovely quiet Mediterranean restaurant in the city centre of Schwerin, I visited the restaurant after the visit to the beautiful Schwerin Castle 🏰. I had a walk around the city centre before I found the restaurant and ordered pasta. The serving was quite big and beautifully plated. It's delicious 😋 as well. The restaurant ambience is quiet with dim lighting. It's not a very big restaurant but over the other side of the restaurant, they have tables for bigger groups.

#familytrips2024 Hotel Am Schloß Address: Heinrich-Mann-Straße 3, 19053 Schwerin, Germany Located just around 10 minutes away from the Schwerin Mitte station and around 15 minutes away from the Schwerin station, the hotel had a nice view of the castle and lake. The town shopping area can be reached by walking or via bus too The room is quite big with a dressing table and dining table. Overall it's a comfortable stay and a nice base to explore in Schwerin.

Beautiful Garden Park near Schloss Schwerin

#familytrips2024 I took a short morning 🌄 stroll from my hotel to Schloss Schwerin and passed by this lovely garden park. In spring, it's the perfect weather to have a relaxing stroll around the serene garden and enjoy the lush greenery and view of the castle and town. This will also be a great place for families and friends to relax, play and have a picnic. There are also benches around for you to sit down and relax. The statue of Reiterstandbild Friedrich Franz II is also found here.

Open to the public, you can just walk in to admire the castle garden and relax on one of the benches available. I love the relaxing ambience of the garden, the lush greenery and lake, the beautiful fountain and statues, and the mesmerizing views of the castle from different parts of the garden. Sitting on an island in Lake Schwerin, the castle is a sight to behold. The tour was like going back in time, telling stories of princes and princesses who lived here long ago. I took lots of pictures because the fancy rooms and small details were very impressive. #RoyalRetreat The garden near the lake, by the castle, was a calm place to go. The paths were nicely cut and there were great vistas all around. If you love nature, this is your dream place. Schwerin town is just a short walk and has charming cobblestone streets and many old buildings. The city center is a lively area with coffee shops and little stores - great for spending an easy afternoon. 🏡☕ #CharmingSchwerin Oh, the Schwerin Cathedral near there is a top spot to see because of its Gothic looks. Climbing to the top gives you a big view of town and castle - it's really cool! ⛪👀 Pro tip: Go on a boat trip at Lake Schwerin to see the castle's big beauty shown in the water from another point. 🚤🏰 In short, Schwerin Castle is a beautiful castle within history and nature charmed by fairytales. One of the most beautiful scenery around Schloss Schwerin is a Schloss Garden or Garden of Castle where you can see the Schloss from the top view. Lion monument is in the center place of Schwerin. Here is the main market place of the city. The symbol dedicate to the victory of Schwerin’s founder.
