Located next to Labis Traffic Lights, the only traffic light in the town centre, Nasi Ayam Alysha attract my attention for my quick lunch. It’s a well ventilated spacious corner shop, with 40 tables. It’s almost 2pm, most of the shop were closed for lunch. But, this shop still busy with handsome crowds. The meal come with hot chicken broth soup and a tasty drumstick. I added hot tea to my meal. Price is reasonable cheap, which is less than RM10.00 for my lunch. Besides that, they also sell nasi lemak and roti canai for breakfast. The waterfall consists of two tiers, but reaching each one requires different routes as the river isn't easily accessible throughout. To reach the second waterfall, expect a journey of around 2 hours through a combination of forest trails and old logging tracks. The hike is best described as moderate to hard. Around half of the journey follows abandoned logging roads with several uphill sections, so having a reasonable level of fitness will definitely make the hike more enjoyable. The first waterfall stands at over 5 meters high, offering a beautiful introduction to the adventure. But the real highlight lies further upstream. The second waterfall is what makes Cheong Falls truly special. It features a crystal-clear pool, a small cave tucked away beside the waterfall, and a cascade that closely resembles Buaya Sangkut Falls, just on a slightly smaller scale. It's a peaceful spot where you could easily spend hours relaxing while listening to the sound of rushing water. Because this waterfall is still relatively unknown, chances are you'll have the entire place almost to yourself.
