| Lazy Travel Guide! It's really good! Perlis | Lazy Travel Guide Stop 1: Wang Kelian View Point Recommendation: ★★★★/5 We recommend going in the morning when it's not so hot. If you're lucky, you might see a sea of clouds. In the distance, you can see Bukit Chabang Mari and a large expanse of green trees. It's really healing to look at. When we went, there were some Malay stalls selling snacks and water. Oh, and the entrance fee is RM2. If you take a buggy up, it's RM3, but the slope is only about 5 minutes, so we walked up. Stop 2: Gua Kelam Recommendation: ★★★★/5 When you go here, be careful. If it's the rainy season, it's usually not open to tourists because it's slippery and dangerous, so be aware of the season when you go. Stop 3: Empangan Timah Tasoh Recommendation: ★★★/5 You also need to be aware of the season when you go here. When I went, it was really hot and the water level was low, so I couldn't experience the swing on the river. The small house next to it also offers boat rides and fishing trips. Stop 4: Somtam Zabb Ver Recommendation: ★★★/5 In the afternoon, you can come here for lunch. Google shows that they are open from 2 pm to 8 pm. I personally think the portions are a bit small. I spent RM21, but I was still a bit hungry. The roast pork was pretty good, though. Stop 5: Tasik Melati Recommendation: ★★★★/5 Because the photos are so good, I gave it a high rating, but basically, you just take photos and leave. I suggest taking photos in the shade of the trees. It's beautiful! Stop 6: Kangar Street Art Recommendation: ★★★★/5 It's just a small street. When I went, there was a street art festival, and there was a night market across the street. The street art is behind the bank, and it's a great place to take photos. Stop 7: Jabatan Tuanku Syed Putra Kampung Pelangi Perlis Recommendation: ★★★★/5 The Rainbow Bridge and Kampung Pelangi are very close to each other. Be careful when walking on the Rainbow Bridge because the ground is slippery. When you walk down the Rainbow Bridge, you'll be at Kampung Pelangi. Stop 8: Hai Thien Restaurant Recommendation: ★★★★★/5 The food here is good, and they have a halal certificate, so if you're eating with Malay friends, you can come here. Oh, and there's a beautiful sea view outside (if the tide hasn't gone out), so you can take photos. Oh, and Langkawi is on the other side of the sea.

Gua Kelam Recreation Park is the famous cave in the northern part of Peninsula Malaysia. It’s located in the state of Perlis, Kaki Bukit. Gua Kelam is an unique cave, documented to have 370 metres long lime stone cave. You can walk inside the cave via their suspension bridge. The high humidity and low light penetration into the caves become an ideal habitat for the bat. You can easily spot the bat hanging itself to the limestone wall. What a magnificent experience. Melati Lake is a famous recreational park in Perlis. A beautiful tourists attraction one should not miss out on. You will find more than 150 islands scattered sandbars in the lake. A wooden footway added a flexible walking path for visitors so that they can enjoy the view of the lake by walking. Perlis is believed to be derived from the French word "perlite" which means "rock". Apparently, there was a huge rock nearby Sungai Perlis and people kept referring to the place as "perlite" until it eventually became "Perlis".

Trip to Gua Kelam from Penang. The journey took 1 hour 55 minutes. Alhamdulillah we finally reached Gua Kelam. Not many visitors on weekdays.

Shopping at Padang Besar This is a super cheap shopping arcade offering from snacks, clothes and even handcraft. 6. Nipah Klasik Just hangout to taste Nira Nipah (Sap/ Juice of Mangrove Palm). Nicely located guesthouse just a walk away from Gua Kelam attraction. Contena type of sleeping room with toilet and bathroom facilities. A simple container style homestay. Bed is cozy, aircond is breezy and hot shower works great. Nice place to relax, surrounded by the nature. The owner is very friendly. Reasonable price. For eateries there are restaurants nearby so no issues here.
