Universal Studios Singapore Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Visa-free! Half-day check-in at Universal Studios Singapore, less crowded and not tiring
Singapore is finally going to be visa-free, starting on the 9th of next month, New Year's Eve!
🌏Just came back from Singapore with friends, checked in at Universal Studios, and finished all the must-play games in half a day. Firstly, the park is not big, and there are much fewer people compared to Universal Studios Beijing, so there is no pressure to queue.
·
🎬Incomplete statistics of IPs include 'Transformers', 'Jurassic World', 'Minions', 'Sesame Street', 'The Mummy', 'Puss in Boots', etc. Not every one has a park, but there are quite a lot of IP elements, and the Minions' exclusive park is under construction and will open this year.
·
🌍 Must-check-in projects
Queue time and performance time can also be viewed on the Universal Studios Singapore app.
✅Transformers 3D: Fight side by side with Transformers, the experience is the same as Universal Studios Beijing, no need to go if you have been there.
✅Jurassic River Adventure: It's real drifting! Travel through the jungle, get close to dinosaurs, you will get wet, pay attention to protect your personal equipment, it's better not to bring.
✅Revenge of the Mummy: Indoor roller coaster, the kind that's very dark, the sense of weightlessness is amplified, very exciting.
✅Battlestar Galactica roller coaster: Dual-track roller coaster, divided into human team (red) and mechanical team (grey-blue), it is said to be head-on, but I didn't notice, grey is more exciting than red, will hang upside down 5 times, but the overall time is relatively short, it's okay.
✅Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase: Take a small train for a round, there are friends from Sesame Street on the side, very cute, suitable for parent-child.
✅Waterworld Stunt Show: The content is the same as Beijing, but the experience is different with different actors.
·
🛍️ Shopping:
Credit card💳 is ok, magnetic stripe card is also usable, I used a MasterCard magnetic stripe card, even the small stalls selling water in the park can use credit card.
·
🚇Transportation:
Universal Studios is located in Resorts World Sentosa
👉🏻Sentosa Express: You can take the express train to the island on the 3rd floor of vivocity, one stop to Resorts World, 4 Singapore dollars to the island, free ride on the island;
👉🏻Walking: You can walk to the island on the cross-sea footpath on the 1st floor of vivocity, it only takes 10 minutes to get to the island, free;
👉🏻Bus: I haven't tried this method, you can google map it;
👉🏻Taxi: Show the Sentosa hotel pre-order and you can be exempted from the island fee, otherwise you need to pay, you can use Grab in Singapore.

Lesser-known check-in spots in Singapore, each one is very photogenic!
I shared some traditional Singapore tour routes a few days ago, today let's go for some lesser-known and photogenic places~
📍Red Dot Design Museum Singapore
Located in the center of Singapore, the museum is not big, but it's filled with high-end designs. You can understand cutting-edge ideas from an artistic perspective, and also understand the new world from a technological perspective. It's a great resting spot (even better for sheltering from the rain), but you need to buy a ticket~
📍Candylicious
After visiting the S.E.A Aquarium in Sentosa, you will see this candy house while strolling down the commercial street. The large store is filled with brightly colored candies, and you can't help but feel happy as soon as you enter. It's also very photogenic, and you can take away some cute souvenirs when you leave~
📍Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
This place is relatively far, almost to Malaysia, but it's worth to come and feel the temperament of Singapore's high-end institutions. The architectural design of the entire campus is also worth exploring, from the teaching buildings to the flower gardens and green plants, the design is very ingenious.
Finally, when you come to Singapore, you must check in at their Universal Studios. As you know, each Universal has its own characteristics, and Singapore can let you feel the full tropical style.
What is there to play in Singapore? How to plan the route? 2024
Singapore's essence attractions
✨Singapore Changi Airport: The waterfall in the airport falls from the ceiling, and the mist shrouds the green plants. This is not an airport, it is clearly a fairyland
-
✨ Gardens by the Bay: The first stop to Singapore, the Avatar version of The Wizard of Oz, the wonderful garden that cleverly combines plants and technology, has become a new landmark in Singapore
-
✨Universal Studios: A dreamy movie theme park, where adults also turn into children and enter a fairy tale kingdom full of childlike fun
-
✨ Sentosa Island: There are theme parks and water parks, the sand is soft, it is most suitable for children to discharge
-
✨National Museum: A good place to understand history and culture, suitable for photo check-in, multi-angle shooting a person can play
-
✨ Chinatown: A gathering place for Chinese in Singapore, with many delicacies and snacks, especially suitable for Chinese stomach
-
✨Night Safari: Close contact with small animals at night, watching beasts come out of their nests, interacting with lions and tigers
-
✨ Orchard Road: No woman can refuse to buy, buy, buy, luxury brands and local characteristic commercial streets make the eyes unable to stroll
-
✨ Merlion Park: The landmark and symbol of Singapore, if you don't check in here, it's equivalent to not coming.

S.E.A. Aquarium Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Fasinating & educational aquarium tour!
#singaporetrip
The S.E.A. Aquarium is a marine wonderland situated in the Resorts World, Sentosa Getway, Sentosa Island, Singapore. It's open everyday from 10am - 5pm.
The fastest and easiest way of getting to the S.E.A. Aquarium is to take the MRT to Harbour Front Station. From there, go out the exit E and then head to the level 3 of Vivo City shopping mall then take the Sentosa Express monorail to the aquarium. So we had monorail ride to the aquarium.
The S.E.A. Aquarium has a large viewing area of a massive tank filled with charming and colourful marine creatures and corals. The underwater tunnel is the highlight of the aquarium, admires the huge marine creatures in the Open Ocean Habitat Is absolutely impressive!
The equarium tour was truly fasinating and I like what they playing magical music throughout the whole aquarium. Lastly, we also get to learn some of the coolest facts about marine life and conservation efforts.

Fun kids day out @ S.E.A. Aquarium🇸🇬
#wheretogo
When staying at Hotel Equarius in Sentosa Singapore, we visited the S.E.A. Aquarium and it did not disappoint!
The kids loved seeing all the different varieties of marine life, including manta rays, fishes, dolphins, jellyfish, crab etc. There was even a massive shark exhibit.
It was a wonderful water world experience that should not be missed!
My rating of this attraction: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!
Day out at SEA Aquarium
🏝️ Located in Sentosa, this is one of the activities kids can enjoy on a hot day.
The highlight of the aquarium for us is definitely the jellyfishes. They look very pretty with the changing lights, and there are many different types of jellyfishes for kids to explore as well.
There is also a dolphin 🐬 display here too.
Recommended duration here-2-3 hours looking at all the varieties of marine life

Fantastic day at Resorts World Sentosa 🇸🇬
One of the most memorable places we've visited in Singapore last year is the Resorts World Sentosa 🏝
Entry is free. However, famous attractions found inside the complex, such as Universal Studios, require a fee. We were able to access the area by riding a cable car from Harbourfront Tower two. Remember to check for promos as you may be able to avail unlimited cable car rides for affordable price.
I really enjoyed strolling around the area as there are plenty of food stalls and souvenir shops to choose from. I also love the colourful decorations and the gigantic Merlion, which are photoworthy! If you visit the island of Sentosa, make sure to stop by at the Resorts World Sentosa. It is definitely worth your time!

Gourmet food truck fiesta
✔️ Gourmet Park
📍 Resorts World Sentosa, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098269
If you are visiting any of the attractions here at Resorts World Sentosa, you’ll be glad to know that they just opened a brand new food truck and container park selling all sorts of local and international delicacies! Located right outside the entrance of Universal Studios Singapore, this gourmet park is a sheltered outdoor dining experience with wooden benches to simulate that alfresco vibe.
Some of the popular food options here include Luke’s Lobster (known for their lobster hand rolls) and The Goodburger (known for their vegan plant-based patty options). The good thing is that this gourmet park opens till about 8pm on weekdays and 9pm on weekends, so guests who are visiting attractions till late will still have food options as most other eateries here close earlier. However, do note that the menu prices here can generally be quite expensive (think $14 for a serving of nasi lemak).
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Van Gogh Exhibition Thrilling Yet Educational
The Van Gogh exhibition at Resorts World Sentosa was a really interesting and immersive experience. We were thrilled by the spectacular setup in the projection mapping rooms and each theme was done in great detail so much so that it had a tinge of mystery to the whole story, which was very refreshing indeed!
The great thing about this location is everything is available in once place, which means you don’t need to travel too far to get food, a coffee or even the monorail back to HarbourFront!

Palawan Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Palawan Beach in Singapore
Another nice location for the family to go picnic on weekend. Bring your picnic mat, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, food (optional as there 're many options around) and head to the beach. You will see many family also come here for picnic. Kids can play sand castle with others, go for a dip in the water and play in the water playground nearby. I brought a book and just enjoy the air, the sun, the wind and the sand, all around me.

Palawan Beach
#beachaholic
Palawan Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Singapore. Whenever my overseas friends or relatives wanna visit a beach in Singapore, I will bring them to Palawan Beach. The beach is very clean with very fine sand
The beach was made even more beautiful with the tower and the beach. The people I bring here are always very pleased with the visit.
Chillax life at Palawan beach
#singaporetrip
Palawan Beach, you know, one of the coolest places in Sentosa! Wah, this beach is really power, leh! Got everything you need to chillax and enjoy life like a boss! Can relax under the sun, plenty of beach beds and umbrellas to chope. Can play beach volleyball with your kakis or build sandcastles with the kiddos.
Then, that's the famous suspension bridge, lah! Walk on it, feel like you're walking on air, and at the end, guess what? You reach Asia's closest point to the equator, bro! Machiam like you touching the equator, how cool is that?
So, if you want to have a day full of fun, sun, and beach vibes, Palawan Beach is where it's at, man! Don't say bojio, come and enjoy the chillax life at Palawan Beach in Sentosa!
Beach Day at Palawan Beach ⛱️
It is 365 days of hot hot heat in Singapore, which makes it a year round of summer for us here. However, my boys are not complaining as we enjoy the great sunny weather for our beach days. We would head to Palawan beach at sentosa for our family time and it is a great beach.
It is clean and it has eateries and food Trucks available at the beach. Toilets with shower facilities and lockers are also nearby the beach. What we love doing at palawan beach is just lazing around on our beach mat and suntaning. While the kids just love playing and building sand castles and splashing water at the beach. These are life's simple pleasures but we love just chilling by Palawan beach.
