In Kaleiçi, you can step from the busy tourist streets straight into old domestic Antalya. Antalya Ethnography Museum is set inside 2 Ottoman mansions from the 19th century and shows how local life looked before hotels, beach clubs and souvenir streets took over the old town. Inside, you can see recreated rooms with life-size figures, a kitchen, bedroom, bath area, coffee objects, jewelry, traditional clothing, handmade carpets, musical instruments and a weaving loom. The museum is divided between 2 buildings. The lower mansion focuses more on historical objects: Seljuk tiles from Aspendos Theatre, Ottoman ceramics from the 16th to 20th centuries, glass lamps, old keys, weapons, seals, clocks, amulets and calligraphy. The upper mansion feels more like old Antalya home life, with a guest room, bedroom, kitchen, bath corner, costumes, jewelry, coffee culture and everyday household objects. ✨️ You only need about 30-40 minutes here, but it gives Kaleiçi a different layer: old marina views, cafes and Hadrian’s Gate outside, and the city’s domestic history inside. Entrance is free, opening hours are 08:30-20:00, and when I visited, there were almost no people inside. Antalya was an amazing holiday destination. Great for couples, families and solo travellers! So much to do in Antalya, where do I start? I loved visiting The Land of Legends, which is home to one of the most spectacular hotels and theme parks! It also has a beautiful stream of water running through it, which showcases a light show every night and you can also enjoy a gondola ride! Lots of restaurants and clothes to see and explore. Another place I loved visiting was the Duden Waterfalls. It has the most breathtaking waterfall and caves that you can walk through to get to the waterfall area. It’s easy to walk around but I will recommend comfortable footwear! I have to give a shoutout to our hotel - Swandor Topkapi Palace. It is an all inclusive hotel and is one of the best hotels that I’ve stayed in. It has about 4 swimming pools so you have so many to pick from if one of ever full. The Rixos chain has long been a favorite among our family hotels, so this review may be a bit biased. 🙂 But first things first: The grounds - the hotel is divided into two areas - the main area and the Oriental area. Overall, the area is quite large, with plenty of space to walk and do. Everything is well-maintained and neat, which unfortunately can't be said about Belek itself. The beach area is divided into two parts - a sandy beach and an area with sun loungers on the grass. During our 10-day vacation, we never had any problems finding a spot. The hotel has 5 swimming pools: 2 in the main area (one heated) 1 in the spa (indoor) 2 in the Oriental area and several smaller ones near the villas. Rooms: Please note that the hotel is undergoing renovation, so most of the rooms are tired. The "French balconies" are extremely annoying. For those who like to sit on the balcony, please note that you can only stand up at most. Food: The selection is extremely limited for a Rixos hotel, but the taste makes up for it. I rarely praise the food at Turkish hotels, but a special thanks to the chef here. A solid 5/5. The spa is standard for a Rixos hotel: Anyana Spa. Reasonably priced, excellent quality, everything is beautiful and neat. Bars: We counted seven. All are more or less the same. The alcohol selection is good, and they make decent cocktails (if you don't miss a shift change). The sports department is also good – all the basic exercise equipment is from a reputable manufacturer. It's not crowded. There are group classes on the outdoor playground. Ping-pong, a soccer field, and two tennis courts are a plus. Service: It feels like a Rixos hotel – everything is top-notch, and any problems are resolved with a single call. Transfer and entrance to the Legends Park are free, which gives this hotel a huge advantage over others. To sum it up: Rixos themselves position this hotel as mid-range, and in fact, it is. It's a good five-star hotel, but don't expect another Sungate, Premium Tekirova, or Belek. We went out of curiosity and were completely satisfied with the hotel. Would we return to Belek for another vacation? Definitely not. Is this the Rixos Park Belek's fault? No. Compared to Kemer (including the surrounding villages), it's simply disappointing. It's dirty, the layout isn't designed for relaxation, and the prices are inflated compared to Antalya and Kemer—it's unclear why. The hotel, however, is a solid five-star hotel. They delivered what they promised. 🙂

We had a wonderful time. Even though the rooms were tired, the service was wonderful, the food was simply excellent, we wanted to try everything. The hotel grounds are completely immersed in greenery and flowers—unbelievable! It was a truly unique vacation.
