A fairytale castle in the middle of Shanghai.
Who would have thought there was a hidden European castle right in the heart of the city?
📍 Moller Villa
Located on Shaanxi South Road in Jing’an District, this building was constructed between 1927 and 1936 by a British millionaire named Moller. His daughter once dreamed of a fairytale castle, so he had it built based on the castle from her dream. The architecture is in a Norwegian-Scandinavian style.
It has pointed towers, steep roofs, arched windows, and colorful tiles, just like a European castle from a storybook. Every corner of the building is full of beautiful details, from the brick patterns to the windows and roof, making it feel like a small palace in Northern Europe.
Today, the building has been turned into the Moller Villa hotel.
You usually can’t go inside just for sightseeing, but you can book afternoon tea, have a meal, or stay overnight to access the interior.
Best time for photos
Around 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, when the sunlight is softer and the castle’s shadows look especially beautiful. The front garden is free to enter for a walk and photos.

OLD TOWN IN SHANGHAI 🇨🇳⛩️
• The Old Town in Shanghai (Nanshi District) is a must-see 👍
• Among the modern skyscrapers of Shanghai, the Yuyuan Old City (Nanshi) area will transport you back in time. Here you'll experience the atmosphere of real China: red lanterns, ancient Chinese buildings, and bridges.
• It's especially beautiful in the evening, so I recommend arriving after dark.
• You can get here by taxi or metro. We took metro lines 10 or 14. Take the metro to Yuyuan Garden station. As soon as you get off, you'll see the entrance to the Old Town.
Address: China, Shanghai, Huangpu, 四牌楼 邮政编码: 200000
• The Old Town is located around Yu Garden.
Yuyuan Garden is a very beautiful and atmospheric place, but it's best to visit in the morning. It closes around 4:00 PM.
• Therefore, we planned our itinerary so that we arrived one evening and strolled through the old city, and the next morning we arrived at Yuyuan Garden and strolled there.
• The incredibly beautiful illumination of all the buildings gives this place a special atmosphere.
• Here you'll find numerous shops selling souvenirs, tea, coffee, and other goods. There are also many cafes and restaurants where you can grab a bite. Incidentally, the prices here are the best in the city. So if you're looking for gifts, do it here. I was surprised myself that such a tourist destination had the best prices.
• Here we found an interesting chocolate shop, where at the entrance you'll see huge chocolate figures and the incredibly delicious smell of chocolate. I've included photos of this place with this story. You'll see this shop while strolling through the old town; be sure to stop in.
• We ate delicious squid 🦑 on a stick.
• We tried Turkish ice cream 🍦, which, by the way, is sold by a Turk himself, and he makes it so funny, using all sorts of tricks; the kids were thrilled. The ice cream costs 28 yuan. It's delicious, I recommend trying it; it was fun.
• We drank delicious coconuts 🥥
• We bought souvenirs to take home, which now bring us joy and remind us of our trip to Shanghai ❤️ #Shanghai #OldTown #Nanshi #yuyuangarden

🇫🇷 Shanghai, through the backstreets of Shikumen 🏮🇫🇷
#shanghai
If you're looking for the heart of old Shanghai, hidden behind a kaleidoscope of skyscrapers, head to the winding alleys of Shikumen. This unique place blends Eastern aesthetics with European chic. Here, Chinese-style stone gates open onto cozy courtyards reminiscent of Parisian neighborhoods.
Walking under the shade of plane trees and bright red lanterns, you'll catch that early 20th-century vibe. The ancient brickwork, antique shops, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee are the perfect contrast to the bustling metropolis.
Why you should visit:
Architecture: A stunning mix of Western gables and traditional Chinese "Lilong" elements.
Ambience: In the evening, when the lanterns are lit, the street transforms into a living movie set.
Photo: Every detail—from the signage to the greenery—is designed for aesthetic content.
This isn't just a stroll, but a journey through time, where every step reveals a new facet of Shanghai. Be sure to stop by for inspiration and a dose of peace in the heart of the city.

Ji hotel shanghai people's square No.500
Ji Hotel Shanghai People's Square has many branches in Shanghai, but I recommend this one. Look for building number 500 to find the location I reviewed.
Atmosphere/Location - The place is clean, with a slight but minimal cigarette smell.
Highlights - ✅ Excellent location near Nanjing Road. If you walk down from the building and turn left, you'll enter the front of Nanjing Road. If you turn right past the 7-Eleven, it's a shortcut to Nanjing Road. Don't follow the map, it will take you the long way around.
✅ Near No. 1 Department Store Shanghai
✅ Near recommended restaurants: New Sukiyaki / Long Time Aged, located in No. 1 Department Store
✅ Not far from The Bund, a short and relaxing stroll away.
✅ BBQ / 7-Eleven on the ground floor, very convenient.
Average price per person - 1,800 THB per person
Rating - 10/10, no deductions.
Address - Near Fengyang Road, No. 500, Xizang Middle Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai, China

SHANGHAI🔥 The world's highest observation deck with stunning views
#shanghai
😍The incredibly beautiful, super-modern city of Shanghai in China 🇨🇳
😍It's home to the world's tallest building, the Shanghai Tower, at 632 meters.
Although it's the second-tallest building in the world (after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai), the observation deck in Shanghai is still the highest in the world at 121 floors. The building looks like a twisting spiral, which you can see from afar. Next to it, you'll see a building called the Bottle Opener.
😍It's best to come here around sunset, around 6:00 PM, as it offers incredibly beautiful views of the entire city of Shanghai. The city's incredible illumination looks absolutely stunning.
😍Entrance to the tower costs 180-200 yuan per person; children under 140 cm are priced lower. We bought tickets at the ticket counter right in front of the tower.
😍The observation deck is on the 118th and 121st floors.
😍You'll get there by high-speed elevator, so be prepared for some popping ears. There are also tickets that take you even higher and see the show; we only bought a ticket for the observation deck on the 118th floor.
😍The observation deck circles the entire building, so you'll have the opportunity to see Shanghai from all sides.
😍You can grab a snack and drink coffee or tea here.
😍The views are amazing. From a great height, you'll see the famous Oriental Pearl Tower, the symbol of Shanghai. It glows beautifully in different colors. The city's illumination is beautiful, but it's usually turned off at 10:00 PM.
😍 Upon entering the tower, they'll take your photo and offer to buy one with the tower on your way out. We didn't buy one.
✔️ I highly recommend visiting this observation deck and enjoying the incredible views 😍

Shanghai in January
In January, we visited Shanghai and were absolutely thrilled!
In my opinion, Shanghai feels more like a European city than a Chinese one, as there are many buildings in European style. The numerous skyscrapers are mesmerizing in their grandeur.
📸 In the evening, when the lights come on, you just can't stop taking photos!
The French Quarter is something special! Quiet little streets, charming cafes with outdoor tables! It was so pleasant to spend time enjoying a cup of coffee with dessert.
The city has a unique dynamic. The movement of vehicles, the flow of people. Shops and cafes are open almost until night. The city is always on the move.
There are quite a lot of people, unlike Beijing (at least that's how it seemed to us), especially in the area of Nanjing Road. It's understandable, as there are many shops here.
In January, Shanghai was quite warm but damp. Because of this, you don't realize how cold you're getting.
One day it rained, but we had a great time on the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour. I highly recommend this format of sightseeing. You can explore the city in an interesting way without tiring your feet. *An audio guide is available, including in Russian.
Shanghai is a modern, very beautiful city. It left us with only positive emotions. We will definitely come back again!

Shanghai's Instagrammable Bund🏙️⛲️
If you're looking for a relaxing stroll and beautiful photos in Shanghai, head to North Bund Greenland 🌿
This promenade combines green spaces, wide avenues, and views of Pudong's majestic skyscrapers. Perfect shots are taken by the water, especially at sunrise or sunset, when the city's reflections create a magical atmosphere. Don't forget to check out the art installations and unusual bridges—every corner here seems made for a photo! 📸✨
🎟️The promenade walk is absolutely free!
🕐Admission is free and open 24/7, so you can arrive early in the morning and stroll until nightfall!
📍Tip: come either early in the morning, when the sun reflects beautifully off the water and there are fewer crowds, or late in the evening, when the light show begins right on the skyscrapers!
Not far from the embankment is a large shopping mall complex where you can enjoy traditional Chinese or European cuisine🍱🍕

อย่าพลาด! Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park
#MustVisitDestination
Another must-see destination when visiting Shanghai is Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park 🌊🐋
This place combines a large-scale aquarium and a theme park all in one, offering something for the whole family.
It's filled with a dazzling underwater world, from exhibits of various marine animals to highlight shows that are rarely seen elsewhere, such as the performances of "Orcas (Killer Whales)" and "Beluga Whales," which are both adorable, intelligent, and offer an incredibly impressive up-close experience ✨
The atmosphere is full of fun and excitement. Children will enjoy themselves and gain knowledge at the same time, while adults can enjoy the shows and beautiful photo opportunities all day long.
It's truly a landmark that makes a trip to Shanghai more "complete and worthwhile," perfect for family trips that are fun, heartwarming, and full of smiles 💙

เที่ยว Shanghai Planetarium
#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck. Today, I had the opportunity to visit the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, also known as the Shanghai Planetarium, the world's largest astronomy museum and planetarium. I have to say, I was "wow" from the moment I stepped inside ✨
This isn't just an ordinary museum; it's like taking us on a journey into the universe, from the origin of the cosmos, the moon, and planets, to deep astronomical questions that many people have wondered about. Everything is explained systematically, in an easy-to-understand, and very modern way.
What impressed me most was that my child was entertained and excited the whole time because it was something they were already interested in. Seeing the real thing, experimenting, and receiving clear explanations, such as:
How light helps determine the age of a star.
Why are each planet composed differently?
What started as difficult topics became easy to understand in a fun and fascinating way 🌌
The exhibits here are incredibly well done, with the visuals, sound, lighting, and various technologies making every zone engaging and never boring. It's suitable for both children and adults. If you love science or want to broaden your child's horizons, this is a "must-visit" place 💫
No need to fly to Japan to see cherry blossoms anymore! You can enjoy stunning cherry blossoms right in Shanghai. 💗 This March, I visited Shanghai at the perfect time and went to New Jiangwan City Park based on recommendations. It was truly a delightful surprise! As soon as you enter, there's a large grassy area filled with cherry blossom trees. Of course, I had to take some photos under the cherry blossom trees—the composition and effect were absolutely perfect 🌸. Walking further in, there's a lake surrounded by benches and resting areas where you can sit and slowly admire the blooming cherry blossoms and the beautiful lakeside scenery. I also discovered a hidden photo spot—a wooden bridge extending out nearby. It was incredibly picturesque and made my Shanghai trip even more fulfilling 🥰.

Shanghai Wild Animal Park
🦩The best zoo I've ever visited 😍
🦩This is a must-visit place in Shanghai.
🦩Make sure not to confuse this park with another zoo in Shanghai, as you won't experience the same emotions there as you would here.
🦩This place is called Wild Animal Park. It's best to arrive at 9 AM right when it opens. Animals are active and hungry in the morning. By midday, they tend to hide from the heat and rest.
🦩You can get here via Metro Line 16, the light green line. Travel to the station named Wild Animal Park. It takes a little over an hour from the city center. Once you arrive at the station, you can reach the zoo by tuk-tuk (there are plenty available), taxi, or bus. We took a taxi for 20 yuan, and the ride took about 7 minutes.
🦩The park is vast and stunningly beautiful. There are many animals you can interact with. Feeding flamingos was a highlight—they're located right at the park entrance. The kids were thrilled, and this was the first zoo where we could feed flamingos.
🦩There's an entire lemur island with numerous lemurs, and you can visit during their feeding time.
🦩You can also feed kangaroos, which was a first for me. The kangaroos are very gentle and allow you to pet and touch them 🦘.
🦩We also fed elephants and zebras and admired pandas, which are incredibly amusing. Fun fact: all pandas in the world belong to China, and the Chinese adore them. You'll see large crowds near the pandas 🐼.
🦩The park is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, well-kept enclosures, and healthy animals. Walking around here is a true pleasure.
🦩We ate at McDonald's, and the food was delicious. There are also rides you can enjoy.
🦩After exploring the zoo, you can move on to the safari park area. Here, you board a bus and drive through the safari, where animals roam freely in their natural habitat.
🦩The safari is amazing, with plenty of animals to observe. Leopards and tigers were particularly impressive, as they climb on top of the vehicles delivering their food. It was a spectacular sight, something I've never seen before.
🦩We bought tickets at the counter for 165 yuan each, but you can also purchase them in advance on Trip.com. The ticket includes access to both the zoo and the safari park.
🦩I highly recommend visiting this place—you'll leave with countless positive emotions 🥰

I went to Shanghai and experienced being a Wanghong 🇨🇳🔥
I really wanted to try the Hanfu (Chinese fashion) influencer experience in Shanghai 🇨🇳❤️
Walking around Yu Garden in Hanfu,
it really felt like I had stepped into a Chinese drama 🏮
There are so many types of outfits here,
and you can choose the style you want yourself 👗
They provide makeup and hair styling,
and it took about an hour to get everything done!
If you take photos while walking around Yu Garden in Hanfu,
the atmosphere comes out really beautifully 📸✨
✔️ Pro Tip
If you book around 5 PM,
you can capture both the sunset and the night view, which is great~ However, since it is a hard time to book, I recommend booking in advance 🇨🇳😍

Review of a popular Thai-favorite restaurant in Shanghai!
✨ If you're planning a trip to Shanghai but worried about finding food that suits your taste, look no further! This restaurant serves dishes that perfectly match Thai preferences.
Autumn Flavor Shanghai is a hit among Thai visitors 🍴🇨🇳
-
We decided to visit based on other reviews, and it did not disappoint! The food has a Chinese vibe but feels very familiar to Thai cuisine. The menu is extensive, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The portions are huge! We were a group of three and thought ordering three dishes would be enough, but it turned out to be too much—couldn't finish it all! 😂 The restaurant is super clean, and we loved that it's smoke-free.
-
The staff speaks Thai very well, is very persuasive, and provides excellent service. They warmly welcome Thai customers, and there's even a Thai menu available. The storefront has a sign in Thai recommending the place from a popular travel page. We ordered three dishes, and all were delicious:
🍴 Sea bass soup with pickled mustard greens: Absolutely loved it! 10/10. The fish was tender and flavorful. Price: 48 yuan (230 THB).
🍴 Stir-fried cabbage: 10/10. Fresh, sweet, and crispy with a well-balanced taste. Served warm throughout the meal. Price: 28 yuan (133 THB).
🍴 Fried chicken: 9/10. Perfectly fried—crispy and not greasy. However, it lacked seasoning or sauce, making it a bit bland. We used the stir-fried cabbage sauce, which worked well. Comes with three large pieces. Price: 29 yuan (140 THB).
🍴 Steamed rice: Two generous bowls at 2 yuan each (10 THB).
🥤 Coke: Two cans at 5 yuan each (25 THB).
🧊 Free ice: They mentioned it's specifically for Thai customers 😂 (since Chinese people might not use ice as much).
-
💸 Total cost: 119 yuan (573 THB), which is only 191 THB per person for three people. Super filling!

The Bund — My Personal View of Shanghai 🌷
I came here without expectations. I had seen this place so many times in photos that it felt like it couldn’t surprise me anymore.
But it’s not about a wow effect.
I walked along the waterfront, looking at the Huangpu River. On one side — строгие здания с европейской архитектурой, on the other — the futuristic skyline of Pudong. A contrast that feels almost unreal, yet completely natural for Shanghai.
During the day it’s crowded, but closer to evening the atmosphere changes. The light softens, the city reflects in the water, and everything slows down.
I didn’t rush. I just walked, occasionally stopping to notice details — flowers , facades, passing boats. At some point, you realize it’s not about the landmark itself, but about the feeling of the city.
This place doesn’t require much time.
But it does require the right mindset.
It’s better to come here without a plan, without the goal of taking photos. That’s when The Bund reveals itself differently — not as a postcard, but as part of a living, complex, and deeply contrasting Shanghai.

Shopping at the Shanghai Market, shall we go? 🛍️
During my trip, I checked out several markets from guidebooks. Today, it's about Qipu Road Clothing Market.
We begin our visit to the Chinese market at 11 a.m.—half the stalls are still closed.
❗️An important point right away: sometimes it seems like the market is "half-empty," but in fact, some stalls conceal rails and racks with replicas of famous brands. You can only get in with a guide—people with business cards stand at the entrance and whisper, "brands-brands."
As we know, replicas and copies aren't the most respected items, so when I entered these stalls, I immediately put my camera away to avoid any unnecessary trouble. 😅
HOW THE MARKET IS ARRANGED 🪄
Qipu Road is located on several floors.
The first floor was the most interesting for me. It's most reminiscent of that "market aesthetic"—open corners, locals rummaging through piles of clothes, trying them on, discussing them, and haggling.
Finally, we managed to try something on—
we liked the traditional Chinese fur jackets. But the price was still a bit steep, so we passed.
AND HERE'S AN UNEXPECTED DISCOVERY 🌟
We liked the shopping center across the street from the main market building the most. Perhaps it's also considered part of Qipu.
It's a more familiar format—small, neat shops on several floors.
And that's where I finally started trying on something truly fancy.
On the 4th and 5th floors, there are replicas—this time in an open format and, I must say, not the worst quality. But I left there without buying anything either.
BOTTOM LINE ✨
If you want to stroll through a market in Shanghai,
I'd choose Qipu Road Clothing Market,
rather than A.P. Plaza. It's more vibrant, more active, and at least has the feel of a real market.
But going there specifically for the ultimate bargains isn't necessarily worth it.
LIFE HACK (SAVE) 💡
If you still want to shop:
– Go to the market during the first few days of your trip
– Take photos of everything you like
– Try it on right away to get a feel for the size
Then, back at the hotel, order through Taobao.
Prices there are often 2-3 times lower than at the market.

This hand cream is a massive hit because it's inexpensive yet high-quality. The packaging is top-notch, and the store itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and smells amazing. Besides hand creams, they also offer hand sanitizers, all of which smell fantastic—guaranteed!
-
They come in both large and small jars. The small jars feature various designs, but the scents are random. Every design is adorable, and they cost only 10 yuan (around 4x.- THB or roughly 50 THB). The large jars start at 50 yuan (250 THB) and come in multiple designs and scents. They even offer special gift sets in unique boxes. But that's not all:
✅ Free name engraving! If you're unsure what to engrave, they have cartoon characters to choose from. It doesn't take long.
✅ Free box, bag, and ribbon! Both small and large jars come with free individual packaging. If you're buying for multiple people, you can request additional bags.
✅ Free gift wrapping for large jars! You can choose from various wrapping paper designs and ribbons.
-
I bought so many for my friends! They're affordable yet look luxurious and high-quality. The cream is rich and smells amazing. I even bought several jars for myself. For those who prioritize quantity, local souvenir or grocery stores also sell large jars of hand cream. These have a classic design with round boxes. They're just as good—fragrant, rich, and only 10 yuan per jar. Highly recommended!

📍 QINGZHI stores are located in several areas. This one is near Wukang Road & Anfu Road (武康路, 安福路).

Shanghai! Tangquan Homestay! Once you soak, you won’t want to leave!
Recommended by a friend, I really fell in love with Shanghai Tangquan Homestay after staying here this time!
No need to go to Kyoto, you can enjoy authentic Japanese-style hot springs right in Shanghai. I even received a surprise birthday decoration upon check-in, so heartwarming~
Highlights:
The hot spring water is super clean, and after soaking, you feel completely relaxed. On your birthday, you can upgrade to a large pool with rose decorations.
The Japanese breakfast is exquisite and comforting. If you don’t have time to eat it, you can switch to lunch—such thoughtful details.
There are rabbits and koi fish in the courtyard, the environment is quiet and healing, and the room facilities are very comfortable.
Overall, it’s a peaceful hot spring soak and a solid sleep experience. Perfect for sisters who want to relax!

🥟 Shanghai Food Tour: Street Food at Yu Garden
#shanghai #streetfood #streetfood
🥟
If you're looking for the heart of Shanghai cuisine, head to the Yu Garden district. This place is a true epicenter of flavors, where historic architecture meets the city's best street food.
🏆 Must-try:
Nanxiang Xiaolongbao: Legendary broth dumplings. The line to get to this original place is worth it, but equally delicious options can be found at the stalls around.
Shengjian Bao: A Shanghai signature dish – fried dumplings with a juicy filling and crispy bottom. Look for the Yang's Fry Dumpling brand for a classic taste.
Scallion Pancakes (Cong You Bing): Crispy pancakes with green onions. The most authentic ones are made in the old alleys (longtangs) nearby.
Tanghulu: Candied fruit skewers are the perfect dessert for vibrant photos and a sweet snack.
💡 Pro tip:
Many of the best street food spots are hidden along South Yunnan Road or Huanghe Road. Visit in the morning for fresh Jianbing (Chinese pancakes) or in the evening for the night market atmosphere.

Who all will go for this view?
Where Modern Vibes Meet Ancient Serenity!
Set on the tranquil outskirts of Shanghai, Panlong Tiandi delivers an authentic blend of riverside elegance and timeless Chinese architecture, especially enchanting in the spring. Start your adventure with a stroll through Guyi Garden, soaking in picturesque bridges, peaceful ponds, and centuries-old pavilions—the perfect spot for culture lovers and nature seekers. Around sunset, head to the Godiva chocolate shop: it’s not only a treat for your taste buds, but offers a stunning window view. This is the hour when sunlight dances across the water, creating a mesmerizing scene that's both relaxing and seriously insta-worthy.
📸 Signature photo spots: catch ancient rooftops reflecting in the pond; frame yourself strolling across the arched bridges; snag golden hour shots from the Godiva lounge as the landscape glows.
🕒 Route tip: Arrive in late afternoon for a leisurely walk before dinner. Explore nearby trendy restaurants and fun family-friendly activities—the area comes alive after 5 PM, so plan to linger.
🚗 Getting there: It’s about 45 minutes from central Shanghai by taxi or metro-plus-bus.
👟 Visiting tips: Wear comfy shoes; the village is best explored on foot! Springtime brings blooming gardens and mild weather—avoid weekends for fewer crowds and even more peace.

Disneyland — How to Prepare Without Stress
If you've already read my emotional post about Disneyland, let's move on to a more practical approach.
🎟TICKETS
🔸Tickets for Disneyland can be easily purchased through Trip.com. So, you don't need to plan your trip far in advance—unless you're visiting during peak season, in which case it's better to take care of this earlier.
🔸If you want to skip the lines and are willing to pay almost double, there's an excellent fast pass that allows you to bypass queues for a certain number of attractions. I recommend the option for 6 attractions—this is roughly the number of truly worthwhile and memorable options for adults that I counted.
🔸If you're going for content creation, I highly recommend buying the early bird pass—it lets you enter the park earlier than others and capture less crowded areas. And make sure to leave your tripod at the hotel, as you'll be asked to get rid of it.
🔸If your trip allows for more time at Disneyland, a 2-day ticket is a dream come true: you can explore everything calmly without constantly feeling like you're missing out.
⏰ TIME AND RHYTHM
Of course, try to arrive as early as possible—this is the simplest way to reduce time spent in queues.
We visited the park in January (off-season) and arrived at 10 AM, but even then, entering the park took about 40 minutes.
🔸I highly recommend saving time on buying merchandise by purchasing it either before entering the park or after exiting—this way, you won't have to carry bags around all day.
🔸If you're using a standard ticket, make sure to use the single rider lines. Yes, even if you're not alone. Yes, you'll have to sit in different seats. But the experience doesn't suffer at all, and the time saved is significant.
🔸Another important tip—choose your priority attractions in advance and head to the most thrilling ones first. To save time on lunch, you can bring snacks with you.
Although, the food in the park has its own special vibe—sometimes it's really nice to grab something on-site and take a break.
🧸 MERCH
Definitely buy some merchandise for the mood and photos—it’s available in stores throughout the park.
I was very impressed by:
– the selection is genuinely large
– the quality is excellent
– it’s not "cheap quality," but amazing, solid branded items
And, in my opinion, the prices for park merchandise are quite reasonable.
CONCLUSION
A little preparation—and Disneyland stops being a race through queues and turns into a day of pure joy and magic 💖

Spring in China 💐🌸🌺
Spring from Vladivostok can be a top destination if you choose China! 🌸✈️ Super budget—tickets to Beijing for just 11,800 rubles, and to Shanghai for 14,000 rubles (roundtrip). This is a chance to see exciting metropolises, try local cuisine, and enjoy Asia's best parks.
Must-See Places:
Shanghai:
- Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (Henan Middle Road, Huangpu District) — open 24 hours, tons of shops and atmospheric photos.
- Yu Garden (Shanghai Yuyuan Tourism Business District) — open from 9:00 AM to 9:50 PM during peak season, admission 30 RMB. This Chinese aesthetic is perfect for a relaxing stroll, especially in the evening.
Beijing:
- Universal Beijing Resort (Tongzhou District) — open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, admission 441 RMB. All the top attractions and global franchises are here!
Shanghai:
- Shanghai Disney Resort (Chuansha New Town, Pudong) — open from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM, tickets from 449 RMB. The park is truly amazing for all ages, and it's best to arrive early in the morning for shorter lines.
Practical tips:
- Buy flights on trip.com; it's the cheapest for Vladivostok-China.
- Public transportation: The Chinese metro is very convenient, download the metro map in advance! — For parks, buy tickets on trip.com instead of at the ticket counter—it saves time and money.
— In both Shanghai and Beijing, try the street food (shao mai, pancakes), but avoid tourist restaurants: they're expensive and not as tasty.
— Cash is almost completely unnecessary: everything is through WeChat Pay or Alipay, but you can only register in advance with a Chinese number.
