[Noto Peninsula] The longest bench in the world
#100 Travel Style
I stopped here while sightseeing on the Noto Peninsula. It was on the way to the coast line. Apparently the bench itself was restored due to aging.
It must be very beautiful at dusk.
The wooden bench, certified by Guinness in 1987, is the longest in the world!
However, if you want to watch the sun set here, it will take about an hour to get there if you stay overnight in Nanao, Wakura Onsen, or Wajima.
When I visited, it was neither hot nor cold, and the weather was very comfortable.

The longest bench in the world
I went to the "World's Longest Bench" in Shika Town, Ishikawa Prefecture ((((((っ・ω・)っ
The bench, which is 460.9 m long along the white sand beach, has been certified by Guinness as the longest in the world ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
I had no plans to go, but when I saw the sign "World's Longest Bench", I thought I had to go and changed my direction ( ̄▽ ̄)ニヤッ
I didn't have much time so I just took a photo and left, but the scenery was beautiful and the sea breeze was pleasant, and it seemed like it would be nice to sit on the bench and relax ✿゚❀.(*´▽`*)❀.゚✿

[Ishikawa] Relaxing hot spring trip on the Noto Peninsula
Visited March 2023
*Royal Hotel Noto
This hotel, located on Ishikawa Prefecture's Noto Peninsula,
offers the opportunity to enjoy Shiga no Sato Onsen. ♨️
There are two baths: a large communal bath and an open-air bath.
Both are natural hot springs. ✨
We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. 😊
They also offer day-trip baths and accept group tours, so
it was quite crowded that day, but I'm glad we had a great time. ☺️

[Noto Peninsula] Yoshitsune's ship hiding place
As you walk along the seaside promenade, you will come across "Yoshitsune's Boat Hiding Place," where seawater flows into a deep valley.
The rough waves of the Sea of Japan crash against the rocky cliffs, creating splashes. It may have been a suitable cove to hide from pursuers.
The place where the sign stands offers the best view of the whole place.
There is also a footpath that leads down from there, but if the wind is strong, you might fall off the cliff, which is scary...
This is the cove where Yoshitsune and Benkei are said to have hid their boat in when they were fleeing from their brother Yoritomo's pursuers.
