Private cars are no longer allowed to enter; all cars must park on the roadside and wait for the shuttle bus. This shuttle is free and takes you to the Liuchianshi transfer point, passing several transfer stops. It seems that those who arrive earlier can park a bit further inside. No. 6 is, in my opinion, currently the farthest point. After arriving at the Liuchianshi transfer point, you need to get off and buy a shuttle ticket to enter the village, 15 yuan per person. The shuttle goes in two directions: Longtan (Qiántóu) and Siping. We only went to Qiántóu village. First, we took the bus to Longtan, got off, walked through Longtan village, and reached the Longtan transfer point where we had to change shuttles to go to Qiántóu village. We couldn’t wait any longer, so we found a local motorcycle taxi for 5 yuan per person to take us from Longtan to Qiántóu. If there were fewer people and more time, I could stroll around slowly, take photos, and avoid weekends for a more comfortable experience. Weekends are really too crowded with too many people and cars. The small village can’t accommodate such a large flow of people, so traffic control is necessary. The Shengping Bridge is more than three hundred meters in the direction of Chanxi downstream, which is the Xiangong Bridge. The Xiangong Bridge was originally built during the Tianshun period of the Ming Dynasty (1457-1464), and in the fourteenth year of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1749), it was destroyed by water along with the Zilai Bridge and the Shengping Bridge.
