Aquarium 🌌 Walk through the undersea tunnel with sharks and jellyfish swimming overhead, and 100,000 marine life at a glance. It is healing to immerse yourself in this fantasy world. Day 3: Afternoon tea + Haji Lane + shopping + dinner • Raffles Hotel Afternoon Tea🍰 Inside this classic and elegant building, everyone is hanging out for photos, but the quality of their food is not bad, both to see and eat. Entry is free. 🔸OCBC SkyWay Bridge: Take a walk among the supertrees🌳. It offers beautiful views of the park and the Marina Bay Sands hotel😍. We visited during the day. Entry fee for adults: $12 (prices are in Singapore dollars). 🔸Cloud Forest Park🌴: It's like stepping into the world of Avatar😍. Inside the dome, there's a lush green mountain with waterfalls, mystical creatures, and Avatars. The park spans five levels. Entry fee: Adults - $45, Children (ages 3 to 12) - $37. 🔸Singapore Cable Car🚋: We took a ride to Sentosa Island. Tickets: Adults - $29, Children - $18. 🔸Spectra - A Light and Water Show: A fountain show ⛲️. We attended in the evening, and it was absolutely captivating. Shows run every hour starting at 8:00 PM and last for 15 minutes. 🔸Universal Studios Theme Park 🎠🦖: I wrote a separate post about this park earlier. It's a must-visit✔️. 🔸Marina Bay Sands Hotel and rooftop pool🏖️: One of the best hotels⭐️. If possible, stay for at least one night. 🔸Jewel Changi Airport: Considered the most beautiful airport in the world🌎. Inside the shopping complex, you'll find lush jungles🌴 and a massive waterfall⛲️. Did you know that every evening, a magical musical show takes place at the Supertree Grove in Gardens by the Bay? I didn’t 😅, but I’m so glad I happened to be in the right place at the right time. What happens and when? The show starts at 7:45 PM and it’s completely free, so I recommend arriving a bit early to secure a spot. Many people lie down on the wide benches here, so you might want to bring something to rest your head on. The show itself features dynamic lighting and musical accompaniment, offering a lot of emotions through classical music and the beauty of the spectacle. The show lasts about 10-15 minutes, and there’s a second show at 8:45 PM if you miss the first one. There are lots of people, restrooms nearby, and the photos and videos turn out stunning 🥰

#singaporetrip Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 staff canteen isn’t the first place people think of when they’re at the airport, but it’s a neat hidden gem if you want affordable, local‑style food without the usual airport prices. Despite being called a “staff canteen,” anyone can go there — you just need to know how to find it. It’s tucked away near the car park on Level 3M, and you get there from the public areas of Terminal 2 by taking an elevator or stairs toward the car park and following the signs up to Level 3M. Once you’re there, you’ll see that it’s open like any food court and welcomes travellers as well as airport workers. Walking into the canteen feels different from most of the polished food options inside the main terminal. It’s bright and spacious, with lots of tables spread out across the hall. There’s a regular dining area with individual tables, a more relaxed lounge‑style seating zone, and even long shared tables at the back, so it doesn’t feel crowded even during lunch peak. Most of the diners tend to be staff from the airport, but you won’t feel out of place as a visitor — there’s plenty of room to sit and eat at your own pace. The selection of stalls is surprisingly wide for a canteen. You’ll find close to 20 stalls serving a mix of authentic Singaporean hawker classics and international food. There are local favourites like Hainanese chicken rice, fried Hokkien prawn noodles, nasi padang and fish soup ban mian, as well as Indian, Japanese–Korean, curry rice and even a draft beer bar and café. Pretty much whatever you’re in the mood for, you can find it here for a fraction of what you’d pay at most airport restaurants. One of the best parts about dining here is the price. Even though the food is open to everyone, it’s still much cheaper than most airport eateries — many mains are in the range you might expect at a typical Singapore food court rather than an airport food court. That’s a big draw if you’re on a layover or just want a quick, hearty meal before a flight without spending too much. The ambience is casual and unpretentious — the focus here is on good food and plenty of space rather than fancy décor. Because the seating area is so large, you can usually find a seat easily except right at lunchtime, and most people don’t stay too long after finishing their meals. If you just want to enjoy drinks, be sure to sit at the counter 🍸 Afternoon tea is adorable and popular, but in December, only the Christmas version is available for reservation, so this time we opted for lunch instead. Although reservations are said to be essential, the interior was quite empty around 1 PM on a weekday, so it seems possible to enter without a reservation. There was also a large Christmas tree inside the venue 🎄 We ordered the lobster roll 🦞̥ Both the roll and the accompanying fries were absolutely delicious 💓‪ The shrimp cream pasta was also delightful, so I highly recommend it. Being a bar, the nighttime atmosphere is likely to offer a completely different experience.

It’s super convenient to get anywhere, yet it’s not noisy. 🛏️ Room We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite! The room features a beautiful tropical design with soft and elegant pastel green tones. The balcony offers a full view of Marina Bay Sands and the bay, and the night view looks like a postcard~ 🏨 Experience: ▪️ The service is truly impeccable and thoughtful! 💝 From the moment we arrived, the manager warmly welcomed us, and the housekeeping team even gave us sleep aid essential oils. The chef personally introduced the breakfast, and on National Day, they prepared a small celebratory gift for us.
