Sitiawan day trip starting from temple🏛️
#freehotelstay
Tua Pek Gong Temple is located in the Manjung district of Perak, about 7.6 KM from Sitiawan, and it is a true hidden gem for the locals and foreign tourists.
The temple was built with the largest eye-catching.48-foot-long Tua Pek Kong’s stone carvings in Malaysia at the entrance and there is a Guanyin’s stone and the Queen Mother’s stone, as well as a some other God sculptures of various sizes.
Recent year, the spot has been expanding where the landscaped garden with koi ponds, artificial rocks and more statues are available in the temple now. However, the renovation is still on-going and it is believed that more surprises will be offered to the public soon.
Tips: if you are going in the afternoon, remember to bring along an umbrella as the weather is extremely hot!

AMU coconut villa seafood restaurant
AMU Coconut seafood restaurant is famous seafood restaurant in Sitiawan. The seafood especially steam flower crab so fresh and delicious, fry squid is crispy too.Very reasonable price and service is fast.Highly recommended.
Dindings Tea House
Our first stop while we arrived in Sitiawan due to the good reviews we saw online. In fact they did not disappoint! The fish ball is my favourite with savoury soup base and it reminds me immediately of the cooking of my passing grandmother. Braised pork rice is tasty too! The fried popiah is mediocre. Price is slightly higher but provided the restaurant is air conditioned, nothing to complain about! Recommended!

Try Malaysian style dry Bak Kut Teh
If you happen to be at Sitiawan area, and am someone who fancies pork, do try the local special - dry Bak Kut Teh available at Restoran Tien Kuan.
Served in thick, starchy, black and sweet sauce which makes it flavourful mixed with ingredients - pork, small intestines, bits of cuttlefish is a bowl of authentic dry Bak Kut Teh which you can find uniquely in Malaysia. What’s important is, it’s done well here, with a fragrant cuttlefish taste.
Try it especially if you are a pork lover.

Recommend to you this niang tofu stall which allows you to choose not only your own ingredients but also your own noodles (which has unique one like ee Mian, spinach noodles which are green based and healthy too).
Care is put into their food and they also will fry items which are more suitable to be fried for you, and just cook the other with soup. dry ampang style is also available here.

Weekend Getaway to Sitiawan: Good Café Finds

📍The Farm Café, Sitiawan, Perak, Malaysia
Had a little road trip to Sitiawan during long weekends and stumbled upon this cute little cafe! The café is quite a small one, with a few tables and seatings. Love the huge transparent windows at the side of the store which allows ample flow of natural lighting in store. The ambiance was rather chill and relaxing, great hang out place for friends and families! They offer hot food and a few kinds of pastries, cakes and coffee! We ordered their tuna sandwich and coffee which was pretty good and decent. Overall, cozy gathering and hang out place whilst in Sitiawan!
Best Hidden Seafood restaurant Makanan Laut Villa in Sitiawan
#travellerswonderland
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restoran Makanan Laut Villa Sitiawan during my trip to Sitiawan. This popular seafood restaurant did not disappoint!
The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with a casual and relaxed vibe.
I ordered the grilled fish, which was cooked to perfection. The fish was flaky and tender, with a delicious smoky flavor. The accompanying sauces were a great complement to the fish.
I also tried the seafood noodles, which were packed with flavor. The broth was rich and satisfying, and the seafood was fresh and plentiful.
The prices at Restoran Makanan Laut Villa Sitiawan were very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the food.
If you're looking for a delicious and affordable seafood restaurant in Sitiawan, I highly recommend Restoran Makanan Laut Villa Sitiawan. You won't be disappointed!
The most famous site of sitiawan, the temple grounds is huge, and is located off the coast of straits of malacca. The entrance of the temple is filled with huge statues. Situated near to the shore and mangrove area this tourist attraction pulls many tourists to the spot. The temple is rather clean and windy. Free parking area available. There is no admission charge and a few souvenir shops and food stalls on site.

Sitiawan is one small town about 1.5hours away from Ipoh city. Although it is small, never expect that there is such big attraction in this town!
This area just close by the sea and it is very chilly here, but do apply sunscreen as my face turn dark after visiting this place 🌚
I wish to travel to HongKong to resemble the busyness of the city and start my shopping spree just like what I used to watch in TV!
Dry and soup bak kut teh, traditional setting
bak kut teh is a local malaysian dish which is hard to find outside of malaysia.
came to this store which is in a traditional setting - which you can simply already tell from the storefront, and called both soup and dry version.
Remarkably, their taste is differentiated from others due to the inclusion of cuttlefish. This is the reason why we travel from ipoh all the way here for 2 hours just for this local delicacy.
served in claypot to maintain warmness
