2024 Stackpole Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in December)
Wales or the Caribbean
The British seaside is one that is often ridiculed with ideas of windbreakers on Blackpool beach.
Pembrokeshire national park is littered with beaches that confound this stereotype, none more than Barafundle bay. After walking the 20 minute stretch over fields and cliffs you gain your first site of this fantastic bay, the walk itself is not particularly difficult but its sheer existence means that the beach is never truly busy and within its wide expanse you can pretty much guarantee yourself a secluded spot.
One word of warning, despite looking tropical, remember this is still Wales and the water temperature is NOT warm at all.

Pembrokeshire Coast
📍Address: St. Govan's Chapel
Indeed Pembrokeshire Coast is quite a view. So many things to see, so vast and not enough time to see all the must see places. Will definitely come back and next spot to visit will be the Witches Cauldron which I've heard so many positive reviews.
For anyone who wants to visit St. Govan's Chapel, there is no entry free, parking is free as well. Just bring extra clothing (jacket or wind breaker) as the weather might change quickly. We're lucky to visit the place on a warm and Sunny Day and oh be careful with the steps going down😏 it almost had me. 😅#historicallandmarks #pembrokeshire #wales

A gorgeous “hidden” beach in Wales!
It’s not exactly hidden... but it isn’t well known and it’s beauty is astounding! With a bit of a hill climb, and then steep steps down to it, you won’t find many people frequenting this little Welsh paradise, but it sure is worth the walk! Lay on the lush soft sand and soak in the rays, paddle in the waves, or explore the surrounding woodlands. Barafundle is a gem of West Wales!
