Kissing Nature | My South Africa Trip.
I went to South Africa with a group. After all, Johannesburg is not safe, especially at night. The hotel doors are always locked.
I went to several main attractions in Johannesburg, and I will introduce them one by one below.
LESEDI Folk Culture Village: This cultural village is composed of Zulu Village, Xhosa Village, Pedi Village, Basotho Village, etc. I was fortunate to see the different lifestyles, architectural styles and special skills of different tribes in South Africa, understand their culture and lifestyle, and appreciate African traditional dances. There is a buffet at noon, which is really not delicious. Don't have so many requirements in Africa~ After eating, there will be a dance performance, drumming and dancing.
Next, I went to the main building. The exterior of the main building is Baroque style, like a three-story castle-style palace, with towering bell towers and gate towers and other tower structures. The walls are yellow and orange-red, and the painted walls are partially made of stone and brick. The upper part of the door and window is mostly arched, and the roof of the ridge is covered with colored tiles in red tones. The building has been cleverly "aged", making this building at the end of the last century look like it has experienced vicissitudes.
The largest entertainment center in the southern hemisphere. There is an earthquake bridge built according to myths and legends, famous buildings-lost cities, and the extraordinary six-star hotel-Palace Hotel. There are also artificial tropical rain forests, quiet lakes and mountains, countless rare birds and weeds, and you can stroll in it to enjoy leisure time. Because there is only one hour of free time, we did not go to the Palace Hotel, just turned around in the mall and near the tropical rain forest, but if you do not consume in the Palace Hotel, you are not allowed to visit~

Lesedi Cultural Village: Deep Dive into South African Culture and Traditions
Lesedi Cultural Village is situated within the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site and home to the earliest traces of humanity. This is a great place to learn about South Africa’s rich culture and culture of different tribes in South Africa. Had a very fun and enriching time.
Getting There - It is about an hour drive from Johannesburg. Recommend joining a day tour and visit it with Cradle of Humankind.
Highlights - Firstly, the cultural village tour shows you how each of the different tribes in South Africa live and the unique features and differences in each tribe, such as the Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi etc. Another highlight for me is trying out the traditional African drums and playing along with the tribes. Of course, we can't forget the super energetic and vibrant dance performance presented by all the different tribes.
Food - There is a restaurant on site where you can taste and experience traditional African food and delicacies.
Hotels - There is accomodation within the cultural village for a unique experience.

Folk Village Step into the primitive tribes of Africa
🆘 Bright and passionate hand-painted houses, tribal culture that fascinates me, human sketches overloaded with shutter clicks, handicrafts packed in luggage... Africa is like a treasure trove of art, naturally beautiful, an inexhaustible source of inspiration. My fifth visit to the African continent still feels fresh and warm, in short, everything is just right
Folk Village Lesedi The Lesedi Cultural Village (Lesedi means 'light' in Sesotho, showcasing the traditional culture and customs of various South African tribes, including Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho, Ndebele, etc., where you can experience dance performances and tribal cuisine)
This is my favorite spot around Johannesburg, everything is too wonderful, super unforgettable. The houses in the village are hotels, you can book in advance and stay, it's a great experience There are also many craft shops, very characteristic

Hand feeding giraffes 🦒 at the lion and rhino park.
The Rhino and Lion Park is an amazing place. In the restaurant "The neck and deck" at the front of the park you can have a meal ( the food is great 👍) and feed the friendly baby giraffe by hand while having lunch.
After lunch, you can take your own car or get a private game drive. I would recommend g#safari etting a private game drive if you don't have a 4×4 as the roads are rough.
The park is packed with animals including the aforementioned lions and rhinos as well as smaller buck, birds and monkeys. It's really an amazing experience.
Go on a safari early or later during the day as most animals hide from the mid-day-heat.
