#hellonewyear Belle Grove offers five superb barns sleeping 2-6 guests, situated in Suffolk. Located near the charming towns of Halesworth and Southwold, these gorgeously converted former farm buildings burst with character and comfort. An ‘East meets West’ twist is provided by carefully chosen antiques, textiles and objects, sourced from fabulous locations such as Bali and India. Each property is dog-friendly and has a private walled garden. There is also an onsite Emporium, and a beach hut for guests to use between April and October. Out of all the properties in East Anglia, few feel as magical as Belle Grove.

Jimmy's Farm loads of animals with lots of space so nice to see them able to roam. had a lovely breakfast at the barn restaurant before and the staff stamp the receipt to give you a discount on entry tickets to the farm which was a very good idea. we bought some animal feed whne entering and saw the giant pillow inflatables for the younglings to play. Raccoons we're fantastic and was great to see the arctic fox's.

Thornham walks. easy to get to when driving. parking was £2.50 all day which was very reasonable. There is plenty of parking around as well. lovely little cafe as you walk in with reasonably priced food and drinks. there is a play park for the little ones and some gorgeous paths for walking as you get into the woods. there were victorian gardens with lots of produce available to purchase with another tea room situated within the walls.

#aprilblooms A few pictures of flowers from around and about Beijing and Suffolk in England. I take a lot of pictures of flowers, so this is a good opportunity to share a few. What is amazing is the way roses grow in Beijing! So lovely to see them all burst open suddenly, after the long, frozen winter. The magnolias are the same. Truly a celebration of Spring. In England, the flowers are less flamboyant, but equally lovely! Snowdrops and foxgloves.
