Previously, I was most impressed by the Duku Highway, but Zhangye is really much more family-friendly! Zhangye’s scenery is beautiful, varied, and rich in layers—truly a wonderful surprise. Most people on the Qinghai-Gansu loop just treat this place as a stopover and only visit the Danxia landform, which is such a pity. Day3: Depart from Golmud ➡️ Wusute Water Yadan, take a small sightseeing car into the park. There are camels, boat rides, powered paragliding, and other entertainment activities, with many photo 📷 and check-in spots ➡️ On the way to the next stop, Dacaidan Emerald Lake, you will pass the classic U-shaped road photo spot on National Highway 315, but parking is not allowed ⚠️. I think Dacaidan Emerald Lake is the most beautiful among these salt lakes, mainly small lakes with different colors, including blue-green and yellow salt lakes. The water is also corrosive, do not enter the water. There is a newly built viewing tower with spectacular views overlooking the entire Emerald Lake ➡️ Stay overnight in Dacaidan.
