Gold Coast seaview stay
Located along the stretch of beaches that is Surfers Paradise, Rhapsody Resort was a decently priced accommodation for an incredibly huge amount of living space. We had our own fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a tub, and even a balcony with seats to enjoy the seaview from.
Staff were very friendly too and made our stay very pleasant. Just be sure to avoid leaving anything unattended on the balcony, like clothes or bottles, as the wind here is extremely strong. It will whisk any loose items away very easily.

🇦🇺Gold Coast | Aquaduck adventure 🐤
Just had the most thrilling and unforgettable experience with Aquaduck in Gold Coast! Tracy, our fantastic tour guide, and Chris, our funny driver with lots of duck jokes, made this journey truly exceptional.
We started our adventure on land, cruising through the city's iconic landmarks and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Tracy's lively commentary kept us entertained and informed throughout the ride.
And then came the highlight - the magical moment when we transitioned from land to water! The transformation of the Aquaduck into a boat was incredible, and the feeling of gliding on the water was simply exhilarating!
The best part? They actually let us take the wheel! Steering the Aquaduck on the water was an absolute blast, and it added a whole new level of excitement to the experience!
The scenic views of the Gold Coast from both land and water were breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of this beautiful city.
We captured some amazing photos during the tour, creating lasting memories of this incredible adventure.
If you're visiting Gold Coast, don't miss the chance to ride the Aquaduck with Tracy and Chris! It's an adventure like no other, where city meets the sea, and you get to be the captain for a while!

🇦🇺Gold Coast | Having a BEACH AND CITY VIEW
The view from Mantra on View was simply breathtaking! I loved waking up to the stunning panorama of both the beach and the city, offering the best of both worlds in one frame.
Having a balcony was an absolute delight! It provided the perfect spot to sip morning coffee while taking in the fresh sea breeze and admiring the twinkling lights of the city at night.
The highlight of my stay was the indulgent bathtub! After a long day of exploring, soaking in the tub with a glass of wine was pure bliss, and it added a touch of luxury to my experience.
I appreciated the unique touch of the wooden room key. The texture felt warm and rustic, adding a charming element to the overall stay.
While the hotel had a certain charm, it was evident that some parts needed maintenance. Some walls were showing signs of aging, which slightly detracted from the otherwise pleasant ambiance.
Although the hotel showed signs of age, its character and unique features made up for it. I'd certainly consider returning for another enjoyable stay!

Experience the Best of Gold Coast at Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise
As a blogger, I like to travel and explore new places. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Gold Coast, and it was an amazing experience. I stayed at the Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise, which is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the beach, and it offers stunning views of the ocean and the city skyline.
One of the best things about my stay at the Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise was the food. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant called Coast Beach Bar & Kitchen, which is located on the second floor of the building. The restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
The menu at Coast Beach Bar & Kitchen is diverse and features a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes and preferences. Some of my favorite dishes included the oysters, fries, steak, fish of the day, and steak tartare. The food was so good that I ended up eating at the restaurant twice during my stay.
The oysters were fresh and delicious, and they were discounted in the afternoon. The fries were crispy and golden, but seasoned with too much salt. The steak was cooked to perfection, and it was tender and juicy. The fish of the day was also excellent.#goldcoast #goldcoast #goldcoast
One of the highlights of my dining experience at Coast Beach Bar & Kitchen was the steak tartare. The dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The beef was tender and flavourful.
Overall, my stay at the Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Gold Coast. The hotel is luxurious, and the food at Coast Beach Bar & Kitchen is outstanding. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a relaxed meal with friends, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Kayaking with Dolphins and Snorkeling tour
this experience takes place at Surfers Paradise QLD, Australia. It started at 7 am which finished around lunch time. As I remember it’s AUD $79/person, included a quick breakfast (milk, cereal & a piece of cake). We both had never kayaked before, the guides had taught us from the beginning which was quite easy to follow (about 30 minutes quick lesson). We then kayaked to Wavebreak Island where we had our breakfast and snorkeling. We then, kayaked to South Stradbroke Island for 10-15 minutes and had a long walk along the island before kayaking back to the departure point. We thought we did not get to see any dolphins, luckily, we saw one on the way back! It’s a very good experience, but also exhausting (because of the sun and the wave haha). We found the tour on Redballoon, highly recommend!#australiatravel #australia #queensland #goldcoast #surfersparadise #kayaking #kayak #snorkeling #couplestrip #couple #adventuretrip
My husband and I chanced upon this place while walking around Surfers Paradise looking for a lunch venue. It was along a street that was mostly populated with Asian restaurants. The prices and food photos on the menu looked pretty decent, so we decided to give it a go.
Compared to the other Asian restaurants we peeked into along this street, this one had a nice, clean interior with a simple set-up. We ordered a chicken rice set and a steamer of xiao long bao. There was the option of upgrading the plain rice to fried rice for no extra cost, awesome (:
However, the food turned out to be not-so-awesome. The fried rice was quite tasteless while the flavour of the chicken was extremely salty and overpowering (had another experience with Asian food later in the trip where the sweet and sour chicken tasted equally like a smack in the face). The xiao long bao’s meat filling was also poorly seasoned and the soup inside was so-so. For the price we paid, we were not impressed and probably won’t be back.
My overall rating of the experience: 2 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️

Vapiano Italian Restaurant, Surfers Paradise
Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Vapiano Italian restaurant serves up quality fresh pasta prepared in the spot by their chefs.
The entire area is free seating – you can choose to sit indoors or sit at the al fresco dining area overlooking the main boulevard. There was also a lovely herb display in the centre of the space, highlighting the restaurant’s focus on the use of fresh ingredients.
Deciding what to eat was the hard part, there were so many of my favourites on the menu even though it wasn’t an extensive one. Quintessential Italian fare like pastas, pizzas, salads, risottos and desserts were available at the different stations.
Prices were very reasonable, and every pasta or risotto came with two slices of complimentary bread and an incredible portion of grated cheese. I loved the simple, straightforward flavours in all their dishes (we visited three times and tried different dishes each time). The chefs are really big on customization, so they’ll ask you various questions on what you’d like included and excluded, and then cook your order right in front of you! One downside is that the queues can get rather long during peak hours, but that’s to be expected for a restaurant with great food and wonderfully affordable prices. Will surely be back!
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Malt House, Surfers Paradise (Gold Coast)
The restaurant interior was rather bland and unimpressive, only the bar area seemed to be where a bit more thought was put into. The vibe I got was a very sterile and functional one, which was further emphasized by the young waitresses’ perfunctory service.
Fortunately, this restaurant’s saving grace came in the form of a more experienced staff member (I couldn’t be sure if she was actually the owner), a sweet older lady who was warm and enthusiastic in her manner towards us.
The food tasted pretty average, I felt we could’ve gotten better-tasting food elsewhere for lower prices compared to what we were paying here. I’m hazarding a guess that maybe people come here more for the alcohol than the food.
My overall rating of the experience: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets
Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets opened for business on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 5pm when we visited.
What I really like about the markets here in Australia is that a large number of these vendors actually make the products they sell. They aren’t mass-produced or bought at a cheaper price somewhere else and resold in bulk for a higher price.
Although we didn’t make many purchases either because of the prices or the practicality of the items, the amount of skill and effort that was put on display and on sale at this market was a joy for me to experience. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and I was pretty disappointed when we reached the end of the market stalls. Plus points for being conveniently located at Surfers Paradise and right next to the lovely beach.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co. Restaurant
Betty’s Burgers was my favourite restaurant of the whole trip and I’m so glad that reviewers online led us here. They have many branches all over Australia so it seems like they’re doing really well, and rightfully so! The branch we dined at was the one at Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre in Surfers Paradise and boy, were we in for some good food and great value.
Their burgers were juicy, flavourful and well-seasoned without being overly salty. Betty’s secret sauce added a creamy and tangy lift to the whole dish. The onion rings were lightly battered and fried, with the onions being cooked through so there wasn’t that pungent, stinging attack on my tastebuds when I bit into them.
The best part was, we paid a total of $26 for our entire dinner! A lot more affordable than some of the other restaurants we dined at, plus with better-tasting food. Definitely a bang for your buck.
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hyde Paradiso Restaurant, Surfers Paradise
If you’re looking for a restaurant with an up-close ocean view, great ambience, good food and live music, Hyde Paradiso is the place to be.
Getting there was a little bit tricky (maybe because I was expecting it to be a standalone restaurant on the ground floor), and I almost walked right by it. Turns out, the restaurant is located on the second floor of the Peppers Soul Hotel.
The food was awesome, the ambience was great, the staff were courteous, the restaurant overlooks the ocean, what’s not to love? In terms of value, however, it wasn’t fantastic as the prices here were steeper than usual and because of the crowds that day, we couldn’t get to fully enjoy the ocean view from the balcony seats (which I was really looking forward to!). Maybe a prior reservation would have solved the issue. But overall, it was a nice experience.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Surf day at the beach!
Learn to surf at Surfers Paradise Beach with any of the surf shops along the area! The waters here are quite clear and beautiful, plus the sand is white and powdery soft.
The surf shop we went with was the Go Ride A Wave. Instructors were great and patient, helping us navigate the board and waves.
Many shops and restaurants are right at the beachfront so if you need a bite or drink, it is very easily accessible.

A week with friends! 🐻🐼🐻❄️
This week mummy took us to the Gold Coast where stayed with her friend, and her own two bears, Clara and Sophia! We spent most nights camping in her made-over truck while seeing the sights during the day.
Mummy took us to some lovely places including Surfers Paradise and Pacific Fair! We also had a delightful dinner in Robina one night when we got a free cannoli from the nice waitress at the restaurant!
We spent our last night at a cosy hotel in Southport as Clara and Sophia had to go to Coffs Harbour with their mum. We had a lovely time, mummy ordered pizza from our favourite restaurants, then we had some sweet snacks before our lovely rest!

The Travelling Teddies
Who's on the Gold Coast (1).
The Gold Coast is located on the east coast of Australia, south of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. It is a resort made up of dozens of beautiful beaches stretching for 42 kilometers. The Gold Coast has a subtropical maritime climate, with warm spring-like weather all year round and an average annual temperature of around 21 degrees. In a place famous for its sunshine, the beaches shine under the sun, as dazzling as gold, hence the name Gold Coast.
I've been to so many beaches and seen so many seascapes, the stunning Maldives, the dreamy Hawaii, the mysterious Mediterranean... I thought I had a strong resistance, I thought I wouldn't be easily moved. However, when I came to the Gold Coast, I knew my heart had been moved, my feelings had fallen, I would fall in love with it, I would be fascinated by her, because of her unique charm, different style. I have never seen the waves never stop, always rolling, surging, from sunrise to sunset, from moonlight to moonlight. No matter when you go, the waves have not changed their posture, still the same, passionately beating the coast. The sea water of the Gold Coast seems to have endless power and inexhaustible passion, always one wave after another, one wave covering another, one wave connecting another, one wave surpassing another. One wave has not yet subsided, and another wave is coming to invade. The waves are invading the coast, invading the beach, and also invading my body, my heart. The tide is surging, the waves are sounding. Where the tide passes, it is magnificent, stirring up thousands of white waves with an unstoppable momentum, scattered into the sea, brilliant and colorful, layered, and colorful. Unintentionally, a wave came head-on, thrilling, no wonder this is Surfers Paradise. People are so natural and harmonious from the initial slight scruples to excitement and excitement to crazy.
