Haven for Bird & Nature Enthusiast
Kranji marshes park may not cover a huge span of area but it is definitely still a haven for nature-lovers and bird-watchers alike.
Took a short jog around and was greeted with a serene view of an abundance of greenery and several bird-watchers with their professional cameras, ever-ready!
The Raptor Tower takes you up a flight of stairs and allows you to admire a stunning unblocked view of the park. Tip: Try also spotting wildlife like the monitor lizard, up from high above.

Thomson Nature Park
Address - Upper Thomson Rd
Ambiance/Facilities - forest
Highlights - adventure to thomson nature trail where there are walkway for jog and also spot for taking picture. Many wild animals here. I quickly grabbed my macro lens camera and phone to capture some close up pictures. It was such a great experience where it get quite scary during night time especially in area of battle field ruins. This park is not so famous spot to go to but I love to explore around. Found it in national park website and since it's quite close with my place then I decided to go. The trail is easy to follow, good for exercise but need to be careful of wild animals around. Insect repellent might be needed.

Rating - 4/5 because I manage to capture good pictures!

“Jeju” lookalike at Changi Bay Point
Ever wondered how it feels like to be in “Jeju”? Head in the early morning to the newly opened Changi Bay for a picturesque “for a lookalike “Jeju” view of Singapore’s shores. Headed down at about 7am in the morning for a gorgeous sparkling view of the broad walk – 10/10. ✨🌅
Along the pathway, you’ll spot joggers and cyclists alike enjoying the 3.6km journey with you. You’ll also be sure to spot the romantic pavilion view point where you will be able to catch the best views of the sea. If you’re worried about drinks, there’s also plenty of rest stops (toilet) and benches for that instgramable photoshoot.
Tip: Just be sure to check the weather forecast before heading down! 🤩

A Piece of SG History at Telok Ayer Green
Telok Ayer Green
Located along Telok Ayer Street and Boon Tat Street, this small park showcases a small pond and has different sculptures or statues depicting scenes from early immigrants around year 1800. During this time, I was staying at The Clan hotel, where there was a tea ceremony. The tea ceremony master explained a brief background of the history of Telok Ayer, it’s surrounding area, it’s settlers and the tea ceremony itself. It made me appreciate this park more because it gave me a feeling of nostalgia and deeper understanding of the place’s history. It gave me a visual of some of the topics mentioned during the tea ceremony.
This park is walking distance from Telok Ayer mrt and Amoy street. Very near it are murals, still depicting a small part of Singapore’s history. Book a hotel in this area via this app and explore the neighborhood. You can also take a stroll through Ann Siang Hill which is also nearby (refer to another trip moment I posted about this hill).

Splendid Visit to National Orchid Garden 💐👍
Address: 1 Cluny Rd, Tanglin, Singapore 259569 (inside the Singapore Botanic Gardens)
How to Go: Nearest MRT: Botanic Gardens Station (around 20-25 minutes walk from MRT station)
Highlights: Definitely the many pretty Orchids flowers all around the garden. And the Sembcorp Cool House. And also the many Instagram able nature & surroundings… There’s simply so many lovely points that I don’t know which should be the main highlights 🤣
Ratings: Definitely a 5/5 😍
Definitely a lovely nice morning visit to the National Orchid Garden. We were among the first few groups to go in & it’s definitely worth it to be there early cos you won’t need to jostle with anyone & also easier to take photos 😊 I definitely took a lot more photos in the National Orchid Garden as compared to the other attractions I visited recently!
Some recommended places you must visit in the National Orchid Garden is the Sembcorp Cool House (super cooling greenhouse forest, somehow similar to the Cloud Forest in my opinion 🥰), Yuen Peng McNeice Bromeliad Collection, Tan Hoon Siang Mist House, Silver Arches Display!

West coast park - Singapore
📍W Coast Ferry Rd, S126978
West coast park is a park around the seaside. The park isn’t very large but has everything needed. There’s big grassland, where people can have picnics or fly the kite, 🪁 and playgrounds for children, with some swings and slides, which makes the park a great place for families with kids to come. 👨👩👧👦
Besides, there is also sidewalk here, so you could see many people cycling, running and taking walk here. 🏃♀️And a Mc Donald is located at the door.🍔
The most attractive point of the park is that it’s by the sea so you could see the beautiful sunset. 🌄Singapore’s sunset is usually around 7 o’clock (could check the exact time on the internet), so around 6, many people come and sit on the rocks by the sea. Some may have some fried chickens and chat with families or friends, and watch the sun fall down to the horizon.
It’s a great place to relax. But a friendly reminder, remember to pick the right weather if you want to see the most fabulous sunset.☀️

Fort Canning Park - Singapore
📍Bounded by Hill Street, Canning Rise, Clemenceau Avenue and River Valley Road
Singapore is full of beautiful parks, and fort canning is at the very center of the city. It’s a natural park with large area of grassland and abundant sunshine, which is a good place for picnic and exercise. And it’s free to enter like most of the parks.
The most famous place of it is the tree tunnel. You could always see sweet couple taking wedding photographs there. It’s underground. You could see the direction sign in the park as well.🌳
I also went to Sang Nila Utama Garden, which is a part of Fort Canning Park. It’s called Bali in Singapore, so for sure it’s a great place to take some nice pictures.📷

While I was there, I was actually not following any trails but was just randomly walking around at the MacRitchie Reservoir. Lovely morning walk around nature & end the trip with a visit to the Mushroom Cafe. I had heard quite a fair bit on monkeys around the reservoir but I did not see any during my visit.
