Mount Jizhen(鸡枕山)
Mount Jizhen with 1175 m height is the second highest mountain in Guangzhou.
Started from an amazingly beautiful and refreshing bamboo forest, lots of mosquitos😅 though. There's a steep incline in the middle of the mountain when climbing up, a little bit out of breath, but after it, you can glimpse the other side of Mount Jizhen, kinda rewarding, isn't it?
There are two peaks in Mount Jizhen. If you still have strength, strongly recommend to go for both. From the not so famous peak, you can see Five Finger Mountain（五指山）😂 and a reservoir too, of course the famous Mount Jizhen peak which was a little bit lower.
And I also like the trail we went down, like some really and wild forest, and then back to bamboo forest again and ended up with local garden with persimmon trees, orange trees…
Nice hike and I rewarded myself with a delicious chicken dinner in a local farm restaurant😋

Yamugou(亚木沟)| Enjoy the nature
Yamugou is a scenery spot with various plant species and rocks, with a main stream along and several small waterfalls in between. It's quite pleasant to walk along the stream in super fresh air, must be an awesome place to get rid of the hotness in summer time.
There are also a big mansion on the mountain top amid the bamboo forest, quite good location with dedicated design. Not far from the mansion, there is a goldfish pool, you can also enjoy feeding the goldfishes. An old man sells feed for the goldfish.

In the beginning, Subo has been around since 2014 at Santa Market, still in the form of a vinyl store, you can see the full story through their Instagram highlights. The meaning of the word "Subo" is from the Greek acronym Summun Bonnum which means the Highest Good. For those of you who want to visit Subo, you need to make an appointment in advance, Subo provides hourly sessions from noon to night, the time limit is 2 hours with a max. 10 people in the session. After the reservation, you will be given the location of Subo's hideout. Later when you arrive, you can relax in their indoor atmosphere which is very homey, as well as feel the experience of listening to music that has been curated through Lenco turntables, Thorens TD 125, Garrard 401 and JBL L150 speakers arranged nicely in one corner of the Subo. Relaxing in their small backyard is also a must try because it is quite unique and refreshing that will make you want to take pictures for sure.
At Subo there is a minimum order of 150K. You can enjoy manually brewed coffee, non coffee, mocktails. Channel of Mating and Stubborness, two of our favorite signature coffee mocktails when we come to Subo. Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge

Geopark Ciletuh
Ciletuh Geopark is full of amazing, huge waterfalls and stunning scenery. It's a 6 hour drive from Jakarta but you feel like you have entered an entirely different world. The air is clean, the hills are impressive and covered in dense foliage and there is good bird life throughout the region. Some of the waterfalls can be visited by just a short walk from your car while others offer 30-40 minute hikes for the more adventurous and fit. It's best to organize a local driver who knows the road conditions and where everything is to make sure you can make the most of your stay. We stayed at Ciletuh Hills which is a brand new resort right next to Curug Sodong and Cikanteh two of the finest waterfalls in the park and it has a few villa's with amazing views, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and high quality air condition. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a base to explore the park. They also organize very reasonably priced "Safari Tours" to the main attractions in the park using high clearance vehicles that will safely get you to any of the parks many destinations. This place is one of the few remaining true paradises in West Java. If you plan a visit avoid the weekend or long weekends if possible or else you might encounter crowds escaping Jakarta. We went mid week and had most of the waterfalls completely to ourselves or with maybe one other group.

Pasir Datar is the name of a village located in Caringin District, Sukabumi Regency. West Java. The majority of the people there are farmers, and Pasir Datar is one of the largest vegetable suppliers in Sukabumi.
Not only that, Pasir Datar also has a very beautiful panorama, starting from the expanse of hills, mountains, rivers, gardens, to rows of pine trees. And the majesty of Mount Gede Pangrango is clearly visible from every corner of the village. How to access it? Easy access can use the help of a map and it is recommended to bring a private vehicle because there is no public transportation to get there. However, getting to the best spots in Pasir Datar is not easy, because most of the spots are located on community and company plantations. So it is highly recommended if you want to visit there must be with people who have been there.

Kampung Bena Badjava
Throwback to my trip last year, starting from Labuan Bajo and ending in Ende. One of the destinations I visited was Bena Village, Bena Village is one of the megalithic villages located at the foot of Mount Inerie, East Nusa Tenggara.
Bena Village stands on a wide field. Before entering, tourists are required to pay an entrance ticket of Rp. 25 thousand, and loaned a headband that must be worn by every visitor as one of the conditions for entering the village. There stood approximately 40 houses lined up in a circle.
I also went around the village, and tried to interact with the people there, and captured some moments that I rarely met, such as the community activities there, the houses there, and many more.
I really miss, really want to be able to set foot again in Eastern Indonesia, because there are still many destinations that have not been visited. Not only about the natural wealth that is there, but also about the cultural diversity.

It doesn't feel right to have a vacation to Ujung Genteng if you don't visit this one waterfall. Yelp! Curug Cikaso is his name. The distance from Ujung Genteng is about 15 km and approximately 32 km from downtown Sukabumi.
This waterfall, which is located in the south of Sukabumi, has three streams of waterfalls, and each of these waterfalls has a different name. These three waterfalls have a height of 80 meters and at the bottom there is a bluish green pool of water.
Its charm and cool air are the main attraction for anyone who visits here which can make every visitor feel at home to linger here.

This place never disappoints. Whether it's rainy or summer, this place will always presents you the best views, If you come here for the views of green terraces, make sure you come before harvest or replanting season. Otherwise you will only find yellow and brown patches of farmland. The best time would be at the height of the monsoon from Dec to Feb. Be prepared to hitch a ride on the bed of a small mini pick-up van/truck. Motorbikes will also do. The roads are narrow, winding and steep at certain points. Your typical car or coach will not be able to ride the steep slopes. There are several vista points for taking pictures. Please don't trample onto the vegetable patches. The farmers earn a living by selling the produce.

Green Vienna
Maybe Green Vienna is technically part of the 18th District of Vienna. I doubt it. If it is, it is a long way from the rest of the 19th District. Fortunately, Vienna is well connected by its public transportation. You need to get to the 38A bus in the Grinzing area of the 19th, and ride up the long journey to the top of the mountain. But, Oh, what a view! There is a hotel and restaurant and coffee shop up there. You will want to go on a clear day, but the evening lights of Vienna are also interesting. Watch the times for the bus, to coordinate your trip back down the mountain. It is an interesting cobblestone trip, all on its own.

Yungang Grottoes in China’s Datong. There are high figurines for Buddhist emperors of the Sinicized nomadic dynasty of Wei, We travelled to Datong on the 8:40am fast train from Beijing North and organised for the taxi driver we got at the new Datong South station to take us to the caves and then bring us back to the station after a few hours at the caves (we have some basic Chinese language skills) It was certainly very cold but the caves are so amazing that we didn’t even think about how cold we were. The whole place is very well done and seeing the caves is very easy - being so cold (-4 on the day we visited) we did pay the 15Y for the electric bus around the site. We highly recommend the Yungang Grottoes if you have time.

Milarepa temple of Tibetan Buddhism in China’s Gansu Province This is a beautiful traditional Tibetan Buddhist Monastery. Each Sunday H.H. Dagchen Sakya Rinpoche is there for the Chenrezi Meditation/Practice, which is open to the public. He may also give a short Teaching. Once a month tours of the Shrine Room are given, everyone welcome. ( Be prepared to remove your shoes). Tea and socializing down stairs after Meditation. If you have questions, ask, as no one will come up to you to try to make you accept Buddhism. Lots of classes schduled throughout the month thru the education arm of the monastery in case you are interested.

Assiniboine Park
We went in the morning and had planned to go to Nature Playground - a very unique playground with a water play area (wasn’t working at the time unfortunately), rubber paved hills with a wall climbing apparatus, balls, long slide, swings, net-type climbing structures, and musical type structures off to the side.
Walking paths around the park are great. We took a break and had a snack near the family duck pond. The various gardens are all attached and shaded just a short distance from Nature Playground. Plenty of parking available although I’m sure that would be different if there were events going on. Bathrooms near the duck pond were frequently cleaned.
The pavilion has 3 levels of art galleries. It was a nice quiet place to cool off during the heat. Kids and adults enjoyed it.
We spent half a day between the playground, paths, gardens and pavilion and would definitely visit again

The book house aims to create a serene reading space that calms people down, thus attracting more young people and children to return to the mountains. It also provides a colorful and quiet place so that children and the elderly can feel freedom and happiness in this house.

In the first floor of the book house, there is an overhead semi-outdoor open space, and ten structural columns hold the entire house. The closed spaces are on the second floor, connected to the outside with an out-door staircase. There are two rounds of back-shaped bookshelves in the second floor, creating a corridor around the patio and the reading space in the middle. With a comfortable width of one meter, it suspends from the structure of the first floor. The corridor provides the experience of walking around in the garden, while a lot of holes are opened according to the modular size of the back-shaped bookshelves, letting the light and air flow through the difference of size and height.

The bookcases use the modular structure of there-centimeter thick pine wood, and is controlled by a unified modular scale language. The vertical frame of the bookshelf and the structural beam of the roof are in one-to-one correspondence, forming an overall language logic system. On the outer façade, the relatively rare sun panels in the village make the whole house translucent, and the light in the room becomes gentle through the sun panels, creating a comfortable environment for reading. The translucent material allows readers inside to have a glimpse of the outdoor landscape, achieving a semi-transparent spatial experience and atmosphere.

Cigorobog Waterfall, Sumedang
This Gorobog waterfall is in the Citengah area which has many tourist attractions, even before arriving at the location, we will pass a Natural Place to Eat, a Swimming Pool with water directly from the river, and other tourist destinations. Moreover, above this waterfall there is also a tea garden, or famous for the Margawindu tea garden.
Access to this waterfall is very easy, especially if we start the journey from Sumedang City, for example from Sumedang square we just have to look for directions to Citengah. To get to the location, you can use a car or motorbike because of good road access. But we also have to be careful if we are near the location of the waterfall, the road is narrow and many large vehicles such as mini buses and buses enter this area.
This waterfall is also very suitable as a tourist destination to relieve fatigue and routine work because of the beautiful scenery, the expanse of forest and hills surrounding the waterfall, the cool air is very soothing. In addition, here there are several places provided to gather with family and eat together while enjoying the cool air and the beauty of the surrounding nature.

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is not far from the city center and it’s easy to get there by subway 🚇 We visited this place on November so the weather was just great! It took us more than 2 hours to explore every part of this huge area and to take some adorable pictures and videos! 📸
Fresh air, good weather and cute pandas 🐼 A wonderful part of my traveling to Chengdu! Some pandas were sleeping, some were having snacks 🎋🎍
some were just fooling around 🥰 So relaxing to watch them play!
There was also a big museum of pandas.
After wandering around for so long, we decided to have lunch in one of the restaurants of the Research base.
And before heading back to our hotel we bought some Panda souvenirs from the local shop!
Good experience, amazing memories! Worth visiting again ♥️

Cool villa in Dago Village
A perfect villa to gather with your friends/family, with modern architecture that I like. It has 3 rooms that could housing 10 adults. The view was breathtaking, the atmosphere was chilling. It’s located at upper Dago area with a distance to cool places such as art space, cafes, restaurants.
