🌇The Magic Sunrise at the Leaning Tower
The enchanting sunrise at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. 🌇
As the morning mist gently lifts, the Leaning Tower emerges from the shadows, casting a striking silhouette against the emerging daylight. But perhaps the most magical moment comes when the first light kisses the bottom of the tower, casting a radiant glow that seems to defy gravity itself.
I came here early in the morning around 7 a.m. in order to avoid huge crowd. So, if you ever find yourself in Pisa, don't miss the opportunity to experience the magic of sunrise at the Leaning Tower. It's a moment that will stay with you long after the sun has set. ✨

Floating City: Venice 🇮🇹
Venice is a kind of beautiful Italian destination - with its long canals, narrow alleys and an interesting history, you’ll always find a lot to do & see..Let’s help you spoilt with choices all the best things to do in Venice whilst you’re there. I have visited several sights in Venice and would like to share them with you!
1) St Mark’s Basilica - It’s worth exploring the most famous church St Mark’s Basilica.
2.) Piazza San Marco- Buzzing ‘must-see’ spot, Piazza San Marco is one of the most famous square to visit in Venice
3.) Rialto Bridge- The oldest bridge that crosses the Grand Canal in Venice, the Rialto Bridge and surroundings is a bucket list if you have wish to stroll around this great city.
4.) Grand Canal-It’s packed with boats, gondolas and a heap of water taxis. Personally, I’d recommend either taking a short tour by gondola.
5.) Doge’s Palace-This beautiful Palace has a long history within the Venetian empire; Inside you will see the most grand rooms and fine art that’s centuries old.
If you have time I would suggest to visit near by islands; Murano, Burano, and Torcello are the Venetian Lagoon's three most visited and unique islands.

San Lorenzo and its columns in Milan
The Basilica di San Lorenzo is a beautiful church located in the heart of Milan's historic district.
Built in the 4th century AD, this stunning church features a mixture of architectural styles, including Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance.
In front of the Basilica, there are ancient Roman columns, known as "Colonne di San Lorenzo".
These columns are believed to be part of the Roman temple that once stood on the site where the church now stands.
Don't miss this beautiful place when traveling to Milan!! 💚

A sense of luxury in Venice
Venice is no doubt one of the most romantic cities in the world. When it comes to accommodation, it can become challenging to choose the best area to stay and the best hotel. Luckily, I found one of the best luxury options to stay in Venice, which is no other than Hotel Santa Chiara.
I stayed in a Deluxe City View room, which was really clean and beautifully furnished, with a rustic touch. It's located in Santa Croce district, really close to the bus station, which gets you anywhere in the city, and only a convenient direct bus ride from the airport.
There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby.
The staff was really kind and they helped us with anything we asked (even with a technical issue we were facing). The highlight of the hotel is the rooftop, which offers breathtaking 360 views of Venice! It exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it for your stay in Venice!

A historic hotel, symbol of Bologna!
I stayed at Art Hotel Commercianti Bologna during the month of December with a friend, and honestly I cannot think of a better stay in Bologna! The location could not be better, totally unbeatable being just above Piazza Maggiore and close to everything. You can even hear the music events and the bells ringing from the Piazza.
The staff was really polite and welcoming, and the hotel itself was beautifully decorated. You can tell that it's a very historic and symbolic hotel of the city. The highlight of our stay was our room, which was spacious and comfortable, but also had an amazing large balcony with breathtaking views to Basilica di San Petronio. I totally recommend booking the option of room with balcony for your stay.
The breakfast was very rich and covered any preferences you might have, and the option to have it served it the room was really perfect for us!

The ghost city
Craco is a city in Italy where all people have to leave their own house and escape somewhere else because few years ago the city became unsafe due to some leaking in the street due to an error occurred by the water drain system. this city completely builded on the rocks has an amazing view also.
Craco is a ghost town and comune in the province of Matera, in the southern Italian region of Basilicata. It was abandoned towards the end of the 20th century, due to faulty pipe work that was thought to have failed, causing the town to be abandoned due to a land slide.
Now, Craco is uninhabited. In 1963, the 1,800 inhabitants were moved to a valley at closer proximity called as Craco Peschiera. That population is now reduced to below 800 inhabitants.
Craco is a ghost town and comune in the province of Matera, in the southern Italian region of Basilicata. It was abandoned towards the end of the 20th century, due to faulty pipe work that was thought to have failed, causing the town to be abandoned due to a land slide
Arriving at the village, which is quite literally under lock and key, you realize that all that is left behind is a shell of what was clearly once a magnificent hilltop town.
Craco is not open to the public because of safety concerns and because the homes are still privately owned by many of the families that were forced to abandon them between the 1960s and 1980. It is partially accessible on a guided tour.

Santa Caterina is a seaside resort a few kilometers from Nardò (7 to be precise) in the province of Lecce, nestled between two towers, Torre Santa Caterina and Torre Dell'Alto. The Marina di Nardò is characterized by a rocky coast and by only a small sandy beach. Santa Caterina, in fact, is easily reachable from Santa Maria al Bagno, crossing the Aspide Promontory which separates the two sea places.

Venice is always a good idea
🎭 W E L C O M E T O V E N I C E 🚤 - Sharing some fun facts I learned about Venice:
1. Venice is shaped like a fish (Yes, you read that right. Don’t believe me - head over to Google and check out the aerial view)!
2. Venice is sinking - yes, I’m sure most of us know this more well known fact, but did you know that the Italian government has been trying to prevent Venice from sinking since 1973.
3. The local population of Venice is lessening by the year. 30 years ago there were 120,000 locals compared the to current 60,000 or so at the moment. Experts say that by 2030 the true locals could actually all disappear. Okay, I think I’ve just convinced myself that I should follow my Grandmother’s Italian roots and move to Venice and become a Venetian.
4. Venetian’s speak their own language that is not considered to be a dialect of Italian.
5. Venice ruled itself for 1,100 years and apparently the island of Crete and Cyprus were also under it’s rule for some time.

THE FAMOUS SPANISH STEPS
The steps that connect Rome's Piazza di Spagna with the French monastic church Trinita dei Monti are known as the "Spanish steps," and they were constructed between 1723 and 1726 in the Rococo architectural style (built between 1502–1587). There are three distinct terraces and 135 stairs, alluding to the Holy Trinity (the Trinità). Even though it is shared with crowds of other tourists, the view from the top of the stairs near the Egyptian obelisk is stunning. The name can be a little misleading because the French actually ordered the steps' construction (Louis XII). The Spanish Steps got their name because in the 17th century, the Spanish embassy was situated at the bottom of the stairs, in the area known as "Piazza di Spagna." Spanish steps is consequently not the official name but Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti.
The "Fontana della Barcaccia" fountain, designed by Pietro Bernini, the renowned Gian Lorenzo Bernini's father, is also located on this Piazza di Spagna. This phrase is translated as "Fountain of the Ugly Boat." This is not a reference to the sculpture's appearance; rather, it refers to the legend that the small, unsightly boat was left here after the Tiber flooded in 1598. Bernini was inspired by that.#tripblazers #romeitaly #italytravel #europeanarchitecture
a place that feels like a dream
#celebratewithtrip
Cinque Terre is one of the most beautiful places in Italy. The name literally means "Five Lands" and relates to the five villages within the coastal area in Liguria. Each village has its own unique character. The villages are all different and each has its own unique charm. The villages of Cinque Terre are absolutely stunning, located on the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. And the colorful houses make for some great photo opportunities. You can admire the views from different viewpoints, or from the sea. We took the local train to go there. When we visited this place, it was raining heavily. So we had a lunch first, at the local restaurant there while waiting for the rain to stop. Then, after we finished our lunch, we continued our journey despite the drizzle. But anyways, the view, the place overall is totally worth the visit. The view is spectacular. We can't even describe it in words how beautiful the place is. The villages on cliffs are just so stunning. We have such fond memories of our visit here. This place certainly is a little piece of paradise. Will definately be returning here. A nice break away from the busy city life.

Beauty in life gets a second visit look.
this will be my third time visiting Rome and I think this time it has been the best of all. The cobblestone streets will whisk you to some of the most beautiful architecture ever built by mankind. Trevi fountain, the Parthenon and the Colosseum are just three of many architectural wonders. You can feel the Roman gladiators spirit walking by your side as you buy a fresh cannoli from the street vendor and negotiate your next destination. Rome is romantic, filled with history and was the center of the world for hundreds of years. What are you waiting for? Book your ticket and reserve your hotel because romance is just a short flight away.

Castello Sforzesco
The Castello Sforzesco, held by the Visconti and the Sforza families who ruled Milan from 1277 to 1447 and from 1450 to 1535 respectively, was built in 1368 and rebuilt in 1450. The 70-meter Torre de Filarete is a 1905 reproduction of the original gate-tower.
The Castello houses the Musei del Castello Sforzesco, a series of museums, one of which features sculpture. The collection includes the Pietà Rondanini, Michelangelo's last masterpiece, brought here in 1953 from the Palazzo Rondanini in Rome.
The picture gallery includes paintings by Bellini, Correggio, Mantegna, Bergognone, Foppa, Lotto, Tintoretto, and Antonello da Messina. Between the two rear courtyards of the Castello, a passage leads into the park, originally the garden of the dukes of Milan and later a military training ground.#tripblazers#urbanexplorer#awesomepic#mytripvlog#italytravel

DOLCE VITA 💐🛶
The lovely city of Venice is situated in the northernmost state of Italy, the Veneto area. The foundation of this historic city was initially constructed on 100 little islands in the Adriatic Sea. Venice uses a network of canals and waterways in place of roadways.
The Grand Canal, a prominent boulevard known around the world, is one of the most well-known locations in the city and was a significant Renaissance hub. The Piazza San Marco, which is located in the heart of Venice, is another easily recognized location. A variety of Byzantine mosaics, the Campanile bell, and the magnificent St. Mark's Basilica may all be found here.
Get lost in Venice! Lay your map aside and start exploring. Off the major tourist route, the smaller canals are ideal for exploring.
You can walk the entire major city of Venice in a few hours because it is so small. Explore the canals, unwind in the city's many tiny squares, visit several cafes for coffee or wine, and simply enjoy the city without feeling pressured to see every thing on your list.

LA VITA È BELLA 💕☺️
Rome, often known as the Eternal City, is one of the most traveled cities in the world. As a result, traveling there could be logistically challenging. Here are some pointers on how to make the most of your stay in Rome, such as how to skip lines, cut costs, and locate the greatest cuisine.
1. Give Rome at least three days.
Rome is a great place to visit, especially for first-timers. Spend at least three days in the Eternal City to take in all the breathtaking scenery and delectable cuisine. If you stay for a shorter amount of time, you might find yourself hurrying from site to site without enough time to really appreciate all the stunning old structures and sites.
2. Purchase entrance tickets for Rome's top attractions in advance.
Even in the winter, there are a lot of tourists in Rome (the low season). Therefore, it's crucial to order entrance tickets for well-known sites before showing up in person.
The Vatican Museums and the Colosseum are two of the most popular tourist destinations on earth. If you want to reserve a seat, make sure to go to their individual websites because doing so will prevent you from having to wait for a very long time. This is particularly painful during the sweltering heat.
3. Use the Roma Pass to save money.
A 48- or 72-hour Roma Pass will get you free admission to a specific number of museums or archaeological sites. For instance, the 72-hour pass entitles you to two complimentary museum skip-the-line entrances (or ancient sites like the Colosseum). Additionally, it offers you cheaper admission rates to all additional museums you visit after this one! If you want to stay longer, you may also get a 7-day pass that includes extra attractions.

Taste tomatoes in Emilia-Romagna
It is well known that Emilia-Romagna is the region where the Italian delicacies come from. Just think of Parmesan cheese, mortadella, lasagna, balsamic vinegar and of course Parma ham, but tomatoes are also a speciality. The Italian family business Mutti ensures that tomatoes are processed into passata, tomato pulp and other tomato products. The result is ultimately for sale in our stores.
Parma is centrally located in the Food Valley and is a must-see when it comes to Italian food. In less than half an hour you are in Montechiarugolo. The Italian company Mutti has its headquarters here between the tomato fields. Mutti exists more then 120 years and has a very good reputation when it comes to quality. In Italy, tomatoes are not called “pomodoro” or golden apples for nothing.
Mutti works with about 400 tomato growers who have fields in all corners of the country. The only condition is that the fresh tomatoes do not travel too long, because the entire process from harvest to packaging must take place in less than 24 hours. The tomato plants grow here in open ground and are harvested only once a year to guarantee an ideal taste. Usually in September.

Dear Italy, are you the end or my beginning?
Day 3 out of 84 days of solo travelling in Europe. Spontaneous, crazy, fun. I made it to the other side of the world! I learnt a lot. Bruised a lot. Healed a lot. Made friends with strangers. Learned new cultures. I had my eat, pray, love moment and I would never change it for the world. Funny how i trusted these strangers i just met with my life more than I do anyone else. We traveled from Bern to Domodossola by train, tried the best vegan pizza in Italy, hiked to the highest point in Domodossola, I even had the chance to hide a love letter to myself and made a promise to come back and find it so that i could write a reply when I have all the answers.

We were in Italy in July 2022. We were in Rome for 5 days. We visited this land mark many times as it was on way to many other attractions in Rome. At the bottom of Spanish Steps is beautiful Piazza Di Sapgna. View from top of steps is beautiful. We climbed down these steps rather than climbing up in a hot day. VATICAN MUSEUMS CLASSIC BUILDINGS
The Vatican Museums, located in Vatican City, were established in the early 16th century and house artworks that the Catholic church has collected over the years. Around 70,000 works total in the museums, 20,000 of which are on show. Despite an 81 percent decrease in visitation in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, it was still ranked fourth among the most popular art museums worldwide.
The Vatican Museums are situated at the Vatican, close to the Tiber River. The Vatican Museums, one of the largest art collections in the world, was established by Pope Julius II in the early 16th century. Apart from artwork, archeology, and ethnographic artifacts like Egyptian mummies and Etruscan bronzes, the Vatican Museums also house some of the most artistically significant spaces, including Raphael's frescoed chambers and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. Everyone who loves art, history, or religion should visit the Vatican Museums.

The Chaotic Beauty of Naples
#passionpassport Naples is the regional capital of Campania and the third largest city in Italy after Rome and Milan, making it the third most populous metropolitan city in Italy. When I first step foot in Naples after taking a bus from the closest airport, my first impression of Naples is that it isn’t as polished as the other cities I visited in Italy, but Naples has something other than glitzy, glamorous, or serene: it has a soul. Naples can be chaotic and gritty, yet it's still beautiful and authentic. During my stay in Naples, I honestly find the city complicated and apologetic due to how congested the streets and the metro is and how public transportation isn't on time. The bus and the metro tend to be crowded and traffic never stops. Despite the chaos that surrounds Naples, the city is always alive. Even on a hot, sticky weekday in Naples, the energy is still flowing in the streets of Naples. Naples is truly a marvelous city with a rich history between castles, churches, plazas, and endless pizzerias, there are endless possibilities of activities to do in Naples.

College Semester Break Traveler THE GREAT GALLERIA
The great Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II was planned by Giuseppe Mengoni and built between 1865 and 1877 on one side of Piazza del Duomo and on the other side of Piazza della Scala. With a dome soaring 48 meters above its mosaic floor, it was Europe's largest shopping arcade at the time.
It is a magnificent example of 19th-century industrial iron and glass construction, and it marks the beginning of modern architecture in Italy. And it's still a lovely, lively neighborhood where folks congregate for lunch or coffee in exquisite cafés and shop in high-end boutiques. It has become so ingrained in Milanese culture that locals refer to it as "il salotto" (the salon).

CELEBRATORY MONUMENT
A monument commemorating the first monarch of Italy, Victor Emanuel II, stands in the center seated on a galloping horse (Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II). The statue is just in front of the Duomo di Milano. It’s not just a good spot for photo opportunities but also a good spot to just sit and admire the grandeur of the church.
Victor Emanuel II served as a rallying point for Italian nationalists, regardless of their political affiliations (monarchists, Republicans, etc.). He was also a vital conduit and figurehead for Cavour's contact and pacts with Napoleon III - King to Emperor communication.
