Jiu fen is a very charming place to visit. It is situated at higher altitude and with very steep buildings. A must try food at jiu fen is the sweet taro balls. Order a bowl and enjoy with a view.
Many souvenirs shops along the way too. I got myself some taiwan tea leaves and handicrafts.
Comfortable shoes are recommended as you will be passing by many steps and uneven grounds.
