Rotorua is an adorable little lakeside town in the north island of New Zealand, we stopped off for 48 hours on our roadtrip around the island. The town feels like an old school American town with tree lined streets full of little shops with awnings, it has very laidback atmosphere and reminds me of island life in the Caribbean isles. We stayed in an air b&b in the suburbs but walked into town each day, the walk is quick and the roads are relatively quiet. The town itself is great for a few days to recharge, lots of cafes and gift shops along with a beautifully laid out central area with street art and art installations. In the summer evening the prominent venues are lit up and the ‘eating street’ is a bustling row of restaurants with lots of choice! We stopped off for desert and had incredible ice cream and brownies a Lady Jane Ice Cream parlour. Just outside town there’s an amazing place called the secret spot, a small cafe with spa baths for your feet. There’s no charge for the spa baths at the table, just pay for a coffee and get comfortable! A highlight for me was all the vintage and charity shops, so many bargains and an amazing range of vintage books and music. Well worth a look! The location is in the middle of a residential area and still uses the original house building. There are quite a lot of seats divided into several rooms. There are indoor, outdoor, indoor smoking. There are many seating options, predominantly semi-outdoor areas. It's also suitable for WFC, the chairs are ergonomic. The playlist is also calming and not noisy. A new coffee shop in Bandung with a very humble atmosphere. Occupying a house building that is still maintained. The concept is industrial, many parts of the house are made "unfinished". There are not many seats, there are indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor area is still quite suitable as a place to do assignments or WFC. The downside here is that there is no special car parking area, so it's just attached to the side of the road. I tried Butterscotch Bliss (28 thousand) because they said their basic milk coffee can't request less sugar and this butterscotch can still "somewhat" adjust the sweetness of the syrup. WFC friendly coffee shop in Kemang This coffee shop that already has several branches is always my go-to coffee shop when in the South Jakarta area. Mostly all of their branches are WFC friendly, and sometimes I often need a place to put my laptop when I'm in Jakarta. The Kemang branch is not that big and is more crowded. I came here on a really full weekend. The place is really cool. The seating is predominantly indoor with a listening bar area as its icon. The distance between their tables is quite close so it's still noisy on weekends. A cute cafe around Ngamwongwan. For those without a private car, you can take a taxi from Chatuchak. We went around 11:00 AM. The advantage is that there aren't many people, but the downside is that the sun is very strong. However, they have both indoor and outdoor zones. After taking pictures, you can escape the heat inside. The flowers are very beautiful, and there are many photo spots. The food is delicious. My favorite is the spicy cucumber salad. Overall, this place is great. Highly recommended.
