Trip Moments Recommendations
Boston & Salem
On a recent trip to Boston, one of the highlights for me was whale watching! If you’re visiting during a period of time when the whales or migrating (we went in April) you have a pretty good chance of spotting a lot of marine life. The tickets for the boat are cheap and easily available from the pier area.
The city itself is very pretty with great architecture and a nice buzz. A short ride away and you can find to yourself in Salem which is home to witchcraft - it has multiple museums and the set from the Disney film Hocus Pocus!

Hocus Pocus Inspired Salem, MA Fall Trip 🍁
One of my favorite cities that I've ever visited in the US and I knew it would be as I was obsessed with learning about the witch trials at a young age. The entire area is the quintessential fall location. By September leaves are all around. Let's get some logistics out of the way first !
Budget, Price, Breakdown :
4 days
Flights - $112 roundtrip
Hotel - $453
Car - $351
Food - $200
Shopping- $250
Misc - $60 (parking)
Total - $1450 (rounded)
All Soul's Lounge
The best late night bar I've ever been to!! I had the best time. We had the best food. Grilled cheeses, soups, but you go here for the drinks!!!! They're delish and stronggggggg. We met some locals and went out dancing. 10/10 would recommend.
Rebecca Nurse Homestead
One of the still standing properties from the witch trials. Rebecca Nurse was one of the women accused of witchcraft. Her home was preserved by her estate and you can tour it today. It's very heavy energy, ground yourself if you go. I specifically wanted to connect to the men and women who got murdered during this time. That is why the city is popular and I always want to honor the why albeit a terrible history.
The Mushroom Witch forest tour
The best spent time. If you want to frolic in the woods and learn about herbology DO THIS!!! I spent most of my time giggling because the euphoria of being in the woods just took me back to being a little girl in North Carolina (yep I'm from there).
She has a lot of knowledge about what grows in the area.
Witch House
This was the home of one of the judges during the trail. Now I'll play around about a lot but I don't play about energy. I wasn't going in this house. Nope. Walking closer to it I could feel the hatred. I could feel the oppression so I didn't pay to go inside. Also I wasn't in the city to give money to the murderers but rather the victims and their descendants and the city overall. It is a traditional Salem early settlement home.
And that’s just the half of it!
#salem #fallingforfall #spookyseason
Yes!! #salem is the place to go for Halloween. You will see all types of scares you want from creepy to screaming type. It's kinda super busy though during the season but it's cool to see those witch stuff and voodoo dolls(if you're a fan) #merrychristmas
