Hokkaido Furano - Tomita Farm, Must-Try Lavender Ice Cream
In early June on a weekday afternoon, there was already a very large crowd, and the number may double or more once July arrives.
Today, the weather gods have blessed us with superb weather; a lot of flowers have bloomed in early June, and the lavender is already budding, waiting to bloom in July.
The lavender soft-serve ice cream is really delicious, everyone should definitely try one. Additionally, there are Baron potato crepes and cantaloupes available for purchase too~

We simply loved the whole experience. The food was good, the staff was helpful, accommodating, friendly and eager. Sashimi was nice and fresh. Conveniently located around old brick warehouse shopping area in the Bay. Good choices of food.

Hakodate Morning Market Ekini Market
#celebratewithtrip
The Hakodate morning fresh market sells fresh and dried seafood. There was also an activity that they caught a living squid, and a chef prepared it and eat it sashimi style immediately. We can see the squid still moving. One of a must place when you come to Hakodate. We enjoyed our breakfast here.

Not only is Hakodate’s bay area packed with historic buildings and sights — it is one of Japan’s oldest ports and is now a stop for shopping, dining, museums and even a cruise. Lovely place, the famous Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses that have become a symbol of the city. We enjoyed shopping and dine in here.

The View From Above, Goryokaku Tower
Another place to visit when you are at the Goryokaku Fort you have to visit the Goryokaku Tower which is a 90 metre Tower overlooking the entire Fort. The entrance fee includes admission into the Tower, but the queue might be long to go up into the Tower but its worth the wait.
The price admission may be expensive but it gets cheaper if you go with 30 people or more and the view above is breathtaking where you will be able to get a view of the pentagonal park and at the far end you be able to see the mount hakodate(provided weather is clear). This view is exceptionally beautiful especially in spring and also in winter where everything is blanketed in white snow.

Hakodate Yama have offered a breathtaking view of the city from the mountains. You can imagine how fabulous it must have been.#Hakodate #hokkaido
We were allocated with a room facing Hakodate cruise terminal and the view was fantastic!
Spent our evening at the outdoor onsen after a stroll at Hakodate Christmas Fantasy to see the fireworks and omg, the crowd was crazy and the weather was freezing our butts off. It was snowing heavily when we were spending our Christmas in Hakodate.
It was a lovely experience and thank you Hakodate, we will definitely be back soon!

The Star Shape Fort In Hakodate
One of the popular tourists attraction in Hakkodate is the start shaped Fort called Goryokaku Fort which is said to be over 150 years old. You are able to visit the Fort itself which you will be able to visit. This place is surrounded by a moat and the entire star shaped Fort is covered by trees which will blossom during springtime making this a very beautiful sight to see.
There is an entrance fee required for this which can be quite costly costing about 900 yuen which js about $170sgd. One recommendation is to go by tour to make this trip worth it, as the tour guide will explain to you on the landmark and how this Fort was used during the olden times.
