After living in this town for 3 years, it took me moving away before discovering this gem of a coffee shop. Hidden away between little streets and tall home buildings, Lighthouse is an owner-operated coffee shop with an enchanting atmosphere. We asked the owner why she opened the shop and why she doesn't market it more. She replied and said that she wanted to open up a small coffee shop for herself and her friends to indulge in their love of coffee. She does not run the shop to make a profit but just enjoys the process of making coffee and sharing it with others. The price are comparable to an 85 and Starbucks but the experience is one of a kind. The interior design is so eloquent and tasteful that every room transports you to a different world. Bit Bear is a craft beer bar in Taixing that we have fallen in love with. Their selection of beer and BBQ is everything you could hope for. I enjoy their standard brew and my wife enjoyed the Grapefruit craft bear. It was very cheap being 73RMB for a tower of beer. The food is amazing and with good company, it was a night to remember. They also have a great Karaoke system with English music in abundance! We can't help but go back there every time we're in town. The owners are very friendly and polite, making you feel right at home.

It's a nice bay, but a bit boring. It's very beautiful, I like the sea and the coastline, and I like the walks, but that's about it. The boho-style hotels are a real treat.
