#beachlife Tampa was very relaxing 2 days beach trip. Clearwater beach's white sand and Godfrey Hotels and Cabana's eclectic night scene. WTR is a must go live music pool cafe for a amazing night time #foodie. Another amazing experience was Columbia Restaurant at Ybor City. Beautiful antique interiors, warm hospitality, tasteful food ( I had their 1905 salad, Chicken Salteado, Flan & Cafe Con Leche ) all the items were unique in taste and very cost effective. Cherry on the roping was the flamenco dance show for 1 hour! It made our night. Overall the Ybor city's night life was fun. The entire street was so alive with different activities.

I stayed in Tampa, Florida for a few weeks to get away from my busy life in Japan. When I first arrived there, the airport was quiet and not many people were around. That was the first moment I felt relieved in a while. I went to many restaurants and ate all kinds of foods that I usually wouldn’t be able to find back at home. An observation I made was the restaurants had interesting designs compared to the ones in Japan. They had fish tanks full of exotic fishes all around the place, the lights looked like tentacles of an octopus. I haven’t been to the US in nearly 12 years. While so much has changed, I was able to relive my childhood. It was a healing experience. #florida

Highlights - Polished rooms with bay or city views offer free Wi-Fi, minifridges and coffeemakers, plus flat-screen TVs; some have balconies. Avg. Price per Person - Per night, I would say the average price per adult is about $60. Very fair in my opinion for a waterfront resort. #myhiddengems I had an amazing time at ZooTampa at Lowry Park! 🦁 Located in Tampa, Florida, this zoo is a vibrant mix of exciting animal exhibits and lush landscapes. The entrance fee was around $30 for adults, which I felt was a great deal considering the wide range of attractions. The zoo’s layout is very visitor-friendly, with pathways that lead you through well-designed habitats for animals from around the world. The “Africa” section was particularly impressive, featuring giraffes, zebras, and rhinos in expansive, naturalistic settings. 🦒 The “Wallaroo Station” was a hit with its interactive experiences, where I could feed kangaroos and see Aussie animals up close. 🦘 I also enjoyed the “Tropical Rainforest” exhibit, which houses some stunning primates and birds. After wandering through the zoo, I grabbed a bite at one of the food stands and relaxed by the splash pad, perfect for cooling off on a sunny day. If you have time, the nearby Tampa Riverwalk is a great spot for a scenic stroll and some dining options. #summerdestinations I had the best day ever at ZooTampa at Lowry Park! 🦁🐒 This zoo is such a fun place for all ages, with a great mix of animals, interactive exhibits, and beautiful landscaping. The entrance fee was about $45, which might seem a bit steep, but it’s totally worth it, especially because the zoo is really focused on conservation. My favorite part was the Florida Wildlife section, where I got to see manatees up close! 🐋 They also have a fun splash pad area for kids, so it’s a great spot for families to cool off. Don’t miss the Wallaroo Station if you have little ones—it’s like a mini petting zoo! After exploring the zoo, I headed to nearby downtown Tampa to grab some food and explore the riverwalk. I've fallen in love with Tampa

When it comes to beach vacations, everyone immediately thinks of Hawaii, Miami... However, this trip to Tampa has amazed me time and time again, with surprises and new discoveries to look forward to every day... One of America's most beautiful beaches, Clearwater, is stunningly beautiful, with sugar-like sand + emerald green sea + clear blue sky and white clouds, making you fall in love instantly. Having a beer while watching the sunset is absolutely romantic and a fairy-tale-like spot to check in. Ybor City, with over a hundred years of history, is also a must-visit place, with a variety of cigar shops along the street and the must-visit Columbia Restaurant, full of Latin charm. The Dali Museum, with its very artistic architecture, houses many works of the world-class painter Salvador Dali! Worth a visit! University of South Florida and University of Florida may not rank high, but their campuses are first-rate, extremely beautiful, especially the Gothic architecture, ancient and mysterious. The Greek town is also worth a visit, a very tasteful little town! Hyde Park Village is also a great place for a leisurely and relaxing time. Additionally, the top restaurant recommendation is Rusty Pelican, specializing in Spanish cuisine. The most amazing part is the location of the restaurant (by the sea, it seems to be built on the sea), with a window seat offering a stunning view, the best choice for watching the sunset. There are many more fun places, it's a charming, romantic, relatively less crowded, and great place for a leisurely vacation!

North beach by Tampa, Florida

#familytrip it is an amazing beach with great ocean view. White sand and so many decorative shells to pick. Wonderfull ocean breeze revived our hearts. It’s a great destination for one or two days to get reunited with the family. There is a park with some tables. While you are relaxing by the table, the kids can play in the park. Overall, it is an amazing experience ❤️❤️ Getting There - we came there from Kissimmee by car Attractions - our main focus point was North beach Hotels - we have stayed by Orlando/Kissimmee area. It took us about 1.5 hour to ger here. Food & Restaurants - whole foods market has great hot food choices. Shopping - Whole foods market

Henry B. Plant Museum

Decided to visit because I loved the architecture of the building and wanted to see more. Old structure made it even more interesting. It was not crowded inside during our visit. Really cool museum with interesting exhibits about the history of Tampa and art pieces from all over the world. Enjoyed looking at all the antique furniture in the museum and the building is absolutely amazing. Very architecturally appealing. It’s not a huge museum but it has a lot of things in it and I think it’s worth going. A must see for any history or architectural enthusiast! Museum staff was very friendly and helpful. Museum of Science & Industry

MOSI is a great place to visit and learn. The kids love it and there is enough things that keep me entertained as well. The IMAX nature movies are very good, but don't go there to see a regular movie, go to a regular theatre to see Star Wars. They have a lot of hands-on, interactive exhibits that are also educational and interesting. MOSI always has special exhibits, over the years they've had a lot of good ones, including the Titanic exhibit, the bodies exhibit, and lots of others. While you're there, I also encourage you to check out the butterfly garden, which is really nice. We also enjoyed the planetarium show. The Florida Aquarium

The Florida Aquarium is an excellent place for families with young children. There are many interactive exhibits that kids will love, such as the touch tanks and the 4D theater. The aquarium also has a large outdoor water playground perfect for hot days. Staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Wish we could of spent more time there. Modern interactive information about exhibits was educational and fun for all. Many various species for viewing. Overall, I had a good time at The Florida Aquarium. It's a great place to learn about marine life and have fun with the family.
