This might sound crazy, but i found the best Nasi Goreng (fried rice) HERE! in Pekan Tamparuli where people actually here to get down and enjoy the bridge, im on the other hand is enjoying so much foods they offers here! Look..so much of traditional kuih-muih (local dessert) and it is very cheap and very tasty! i can’t stop eating here. We also ordered from the first shop (check the picture) for Nasi Goreng and oh myyyyy! it is so delicious that i ate without even taking a pic of it! i still can remember the taste of it while typing this and that is my best memory of Tamparuli Bridge! Back to the bridge, it’s not that long and you can spend few minutes to enjoy the river and look around. I wonder if there’s a crocodile in the river hicks! 😝 Anyway if you walk till the end of the other side and get down, you can enjoy a performance by the local. Mind you, carry a hat because it is quite hot and sunny! 🌞 And we then off to the market and bought sour soup fruits and it’s delicious! 🤤 There’s also a shop that sells craft items too! but we did not get anything as this was just the beginning of our journey we did not want to carry anything yet. Relatively it was cheap ya! But you can also buy some local snacks here and bring along to much! Went white water rafting in Kiulu and had an amazing day. We were picked up on time by our driver who explained to us the layout of the day and took us for the 2-hour ride to the river. Once we got there the rafting team was ready to explain all to us. They spoke very clear English and I was surprised by the details in their elaborate instructions. They explained everything to us, from where to sit and position our feet so we wouldn't fall off to what to do if you did and how to get someone back on board once this had happened. After this everyone strapped into their life jacket and helmet and the guides helped push the boat into the water once everyone was in the right position. Each boat had two guides in the back who would help paddle and steer the boat in the right direction if we drifted a bit too much to the side. During the ride there was a stop where everyone could take a swim, it was very funny when we tried to go against the
