A Very Pleasant Stay

If you want to get a good location a few minutes away form the main street of Toarnina without paying 500euro/night ! This is probably the best spot. The staff makes this place a 5 stars review. Big thanks to Mario and Antonella. She gave us great advice and make us save money on beach club . They can help you organize a lot of things on the area and they know all the tricks to save some money. The only little negative of the hotel is the fact that it's between to busy streets. The noise is not a issue but the smells of the gas on the patio... However try to find a view for that price... Lastly the room are a little old and you can hear your neighbors in the hallway. I do not advise you to sleep in the center as it can be very noisy and two nights it’s more than enough to get to know this place, it’s a bit expensive, but make sense to visit

Isola Bella is one of the Borromean Islands, about 400 metres off Stresa, and can be reached in a few minutes from Verbania, Baveno, Stresa and Arona. The island is a natural treasure made even richer by human intervention; it has always been one of the favourite visitor attractions of Lake Maggiore, not to be missed if you want unparalleled views of the lake and its surroundings. Isola Bella is dominated by its sumptuous Baroque palace, along with a luxuriant Italian-style garden, which reaches a height of 37 metres and is laid out on ten terraces. Many parts of the palace are open to visitors: richly furnished rooms and opulent salons embellished with priceless artworks. The garden is full of flowers and exotic plants of great rarity, which grow thanks to the particularly mild climate of the Borromean Gulf. Everything on the island has been designed to create a scenic effect, including the “Theatre” constructed at the end of the superimposed terraces, dominated by a statue of a Unicorn, the heraldic emblem of the Borromeos, which is flanked by statues representing Nature and Art. The beach is your typical Mediterranean beach; pebbles and warm water - I had wish though that the hotel itself wasn’t nextdoor to apartments (random people walking around the hotel’s chairs at times). The room was clean and the balcony was a scenic postcard! However, I think the whole hotel itself just needs a fresh coat of paint and upgrades to the bathrooms. Taormina is a short distance away; great location for both sea & town

A video about Taormina from many years ago left me longing for this place for a long time, and finally, today, I am here. On one side is the vast, azure Ionian Sea, and on the other, the magnificent mountain scenery of Mount Etna. Only here can one truly see the splendor and romance of the world. Some say if Sicily has ten parts of beauty, Taormina takes nine. It's breathtakingly beautiful. The filming locations include the recently popular White Lotus Resort and previously hot shows like Chinese Restaurant 3 and The Big Blue. During the day, one side is water, the other is fire. The unextinguished Etna dyes the Mediterranean Sea a hazy blue, so close. At night, one side is the theater, the other is the volcano. The sleepless Etna surrounds the ancient Greek theater, where people enjoy operas. Such happiness. Finally, I understand why some people have spent a lifetime watching the sea and seeing the volcano in Sicily. I am incredibly envious. As the saying goes, romance till death, love everlasting.
