So, we changed our plans and headed straight to Kemah, a small town by Galveston Bay. It turned out to be a wise decision! Transportation Driving to Kemah is convenient, with scenic views along the way and the flexibility to change routes as you please. The town has convenient transportation and plenty of parking, although it's paid. We recommend arriving early, as there were still many cars waiting for parking spaces when we left, showing how popular it is. Must-visit attractions 🎡 Amusement Park: The first thing you'll see by the sea is a fun-filled amusement park. Here, I saw a wooden roller coaster for the first time in my life. The thrill of the ride was exhilarating, but it was too fast to take photos.
