Hello Everyone The Land of the Kangaroos, Australia, also has snow during winter. It's different from other "snowy" countries. There are only a few snowy spots in Australia, including Mt Buller, Mt Thredbo, Mt Falls Creek, and others. It takes several hours from the city center to reach these mountains. For me, this was a valuable experience because I experienced snow in Australia for the first time. Thanks for reading 🙂

Thredbo Mount Kosciuszko, NSW, AUS. The snow was okay, some days are bad but overall experience is good. Had a great time day, the view is spectacular! The price is okay, good to spend 4/5days there. There are many trials, can challenge different trails. They provide lessons for different level skills for both skii and snowboard. Different restaurants over there, serve different cuisine as well. #travel #snow #skii

#holidayitinerary Blue Waterholes Campground is such a peaceful little spot hidden in Kosciuszko National Park. The drive in is part of the fun, gravel roads, open plains, and wild brumbies if you’re lucky. Once you get there, it’s all about the clear creek, limestone cliffs, and wide open space. The campground is basic but lovely, with grassy areas, drop toilets, and fire pits. No phone signal, which honestly makes it even better. The Clarke Gorge and Nichols Gorge walks are both awesome. You’re literally walking through the creek, climbing over rocks, squeezing past cliffs, and even ducking into a few small caves. The water is freezing, but it feels good once you commit. Good shoes are a must, and maybe a dry bag for your stuff. No shops, fuel, or water nearby, so stock up before you head in. It’s quiet, beautiful, and feels way off the grid in the best way. If you’re up for some barefoot creek adventures and big sky camping, this place totally delivers.

#holidayitinerary Yarrangobilly Caves is such a cool mix of caves, forest walks, and a hot spring thrown in for good measure. It’s tucked away in Kosciuszko National Park and feels like a proper little adventure. We checked out the Jersey Cave, super colourful formations and crazy details everywhere. You can do self-guided or join a tour depending on the cave and your vibe. After the caves, we hiked down to the thermal pool. The walk is steep but not too long, and the pool itself is warm, clean, and surrounded by bushland. It was the perfect way to chill out after all the exploring. Bring swimmers and a towel if you’re keen for a dip. There are picnic areas and toilets around, plus some shorter bush tracks if you want to stretch your legs more. The drive in is beautiful, winding through mountains and valleys. If you're in the Snowy Mountains area and want a mix of chill and adventure, Yarrangobilly is totally worth the detour.
